Our DD got very little candy in her basket this year as we spent the $$ on new clothes for the cruise, she didn't mind as she isn't a big sweet eater and she wanted the new clothes. I'm happy she is easy to please, well, most of the time anyhow, LOL!!! :rotfl2:

My DW just said, "I gotta start getting our clothes ready for the cruise." Those are words I enjoyed hearing!!! :thumbsup2

Great pics Hooks, and great door sign !

I just have no imagination for the door signs besides the Disney paint chips, but I'm just gonna stress out about it.

My brother came home from his trip to Scotland and England, and he has the luggage. He says he is going to bring it by this weekend.

Went shopping to buy DD some clothes, and bathing suits, a dress, flip flops, of course DH doesn't want anything new.

Gotta pack, gotta pack, GOTTA PACK!!! :cool1:

Is it 1p at the Mickey slide, or 3p? When does the sailaway party start?

Of course 5:30 at Grills. Head count anyone?

Whoever is keeping track, can mark my family down for 4, for the meeting at Grill's at 5:30pm on Friday. The other members of our party are driving down and will be going straight to the Radisson to get some sleep after their 20 hour drive. We probably won't meet up with them until Saturday morning ourselves.

I think the meet at the Mickey pool is set for 3pm on Saturday, isn't it???

My DW and DD just left the house to do more clothes shopping for the trip. :scared1:

Soon we'll be at the 20 day mark!!! Can you believe it. We've been booked since June 2005!!!! This has been a long time coming.
Have A Great Day Everyone....

We got you beat... Oct 4, 2004 we booked..... :thumbsup2

I thought is was 3:00 pm @ Mickey Slide as well...

Yeah, it's 3PM at the Mickey Slide.

Our boys really wanted to go see the Wild at the theater today since they are off of school/pre-school until tomorrow. We figured it would be showing onboard and successfully avoided going.

We pretty much have all our cruise clothes lined up in our closets, just waiting to go in our luggage. I hope we make the 50 lb. weight limit per bag with Southwest!

I'm going to Walmart tomorrow to get the last of our sunscreen, a small downy wrinkle release (my type of ironing on vacation!) and some water proof cameras.

I think the sail away party started right around 4:30 PM (after the life boat drill at 4:00 PM) and went through leaving the port until about 5:15 or so.

We can't wait!!!!

We plan on going to Grills on Friday the 12th @5:30. We're a group of 6, DH, DD 16, DS 8, DS 6, DD 5 and me. :thumbsup2 :hourglass

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

:sunny: :teeth: The countdown continues with "25 days" remaining until sailaway!!! :teeth: :sunny:

But.. Dr. Cavin. This is OUR FIRST......
Does it feel like it takes forever no matter what number cruise it is? :hourglass

I thought 3PM
too!!
25 DAYS to gooooo!!!

We just received a call that our flight is slightly delayed on 5/12, so we won't be landing in Sanford until about 3pm. That puts us into Cape Canaveral 5ish by the time we get our car and luggage.

I'm not sure we will be able to make Grille's, but we will certainly meet at the Mickey slide at 3.

I reserved the Stingray encounter at Castaway Cay. It sounds like fun! DD did the swim with sharks at Typhoon Lagoon last year and loved it.

I'm not sure how people that don't tell their kids do it! My dd and I have daily discussions on the drive to school and it gets us so excited to talk about all the fun we are going to have!

When we first booked it seemed like the days were not counting down, but the last 30 days or so has been flying by.

Our first cruise it seemed like the last month was taking forever, but the last week we were scrambling to get everything packed since it just came up so fast....

Hello everbody! You all have been busy posters.

bpd196, this our our 9th DCL cruise, and yes, it does always seem to take forever to get here! Time is flying by now though!

The DIS meet was for 3PM. Our flight doesn't get into Orlando until almost noon. We wouldn't be able to make it before 3. I know that the weather is going to be beautiful, but just in case...was our backup plan to meet in the Promenade Lounge instead?

It is finally looking and feeling like spring here. This is actually an early spring for us. Don't think we ever got to use our deck furniture in April before.

Have a good day!
Donna

Hi everyone!

Is it just me or are the rest of you having as much trouble as I am concentrating at work?!

TSirgey, we discuss the cruise on a daily basis as well. Especially now since DW is out shopping for "cruise clothes", as she puts it, for DD5 & DD4. And clothes for herself too.

Have a great day everyone. Michael

Work? You mean we are "SUPPOSED" to be concentrating on work? Now that's a tough job, LOL!!! :rotfl:

DD got some new clothes last evening for semi-formal night, at least that's what I was told it was for, but my eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw my baby-girl come out of her room all decked out. How did she grow up so fast? DW didn't find anything she liked, so DW and DD will be out again shopping this weekend that's for sure. :teeth: Me, I'll just pack whatever I have in my closet.:rolleyes1

Time for me to grab a bite of lunch. :wave2:

I think I am ALMOST done shopping. We got out the summer clothes out of storage this weekend and I forgot that I bought a bunch of stuff for dd on clearance last year. Yippie. It was like Christmas!

My only final challenge is a new dress for me. I was trying to be practical and borrow one, but the dress I was going to wear to the formal is too long (can't hem someone's else's dress)! Darn, that means I have to shop again! He He!!!

24 days is sounding good! I'm up extra early today. You can tell where my mind is. First thing I'm doing (after grabbing coffee) is checking the boards. :teeth:

Hey everyone,

I went to the neurologist today for the increased occurence of my migraines. He put me on a daily med. I also asked him about the migraine/motion sickness connection, and he said what connection?
I had heard that from a neuro resident many, many years ago, so I guess it's not true. He did give me a RX for Meclizine for the car sickness, and for the cruise.

We fly down in 23 days!!!!! :cool1:

Can't wait to meet all my Dis friends!! :disrocks:

Hey Dr. Cavin, if you are not happy with your big envelope from your TA you can send it on to me and I will gladly make use of your CSR ressies! :rotfl:
