Now that would be a surprise, LOL!!!!!

We're going on May 13th too. We booked last week. Can't wait!!! We have a GTY Verandah. Does anyone know when we will find out what our cabin # is? Will we not find out until we get to the port?

Andy, keep dreaming that dream. From your mind to the Captain's !! :lmao:

Welcome Aquagirl to our troupe. Where in CT are you from?

Try going to the DCL main site, log in, and enter your confirmation # when asked to see if you've been assigned a cabin. I just checked our reservation, but no upgrade :sad2:

:hourglass 33 days til we fly to fla :yay:

I've been a little obsessive about checking the site, everyday. Still no cabin #. Unfortunately no Palo ressies either.

Welcome Aguagirl. Don't worry too much about not have Palo reservations, they leave some open for people to book on board & you can waitlist for people who cancel.

The sun is out today, but not very warm was about 38 now upto 47....

Aquagirl,

First of all Welcome!!!

If your cabin # isn't on the DCL website, you should have your cabin # listed when you receive your cruise documents.

Thanks!!! We are looking up from here, as it won't be long now!!! :thumbsup2 One month from tomorrow we will be on our flight to Florida!!! :woohoo:

Hi Aquagirl, and welcome to our group!

Did anyone catch the Expedition Everest segment they were showing on the travel channel last night? It was pretty good. It was all about the Disney imagineers traveling to Tibet and other surrounding countries and how and why they chose what they did to incorporate them into the attraction.

One month today and we'll be headed to MCO!

 Things have just been busy here, winding down hockey, getting soccer and baseball going! It has been just crazy

I could really use the hot sun right about now! I can wait a few more weeks, I think we are going to tell the kids this weekend?

Sure to be an interesting day! Hanover, I can't wait to fill you in, if I could post pictures I would share their faces!

Well off to oversee homework!

WELCOME to all of our NEWBIES! Looking forward to meeting everyone at some point!

Carolyn

:thumbsup2 One month from today, my DW, DD and I will be flying to Florida!!! :thumbsup2

Isn't that a great feeling Andy? :woohoo: I can't say that until the 13th as we will be flying in on the day of the cruise.

Have a great day everyone!

It's the first day in a while that we can wear short sleeves and my ds5 came in my room saying "look what I'm wearing, look what I'm wearing, look what I'm wearing." It was a t-shirt from the Disney Cruise with all the characters on the front and the character's autographs on the back of the shirt. If only he knew he'd be on the Magic in just about a month! We'll be hopping around the WDW parks one month from today.

Hooksenemy- I'm not sure if you can email pictures or not. PM me your email and I can email you a picture of my boys/our family (if I can find a recent one!) I haven't gotten around to figuring out how to post pictures on this board yet.

Does anyone have a son(s) and purchased leather sandals for them this season? I can't find any in my boy'sr sizes anywhere yet. The stores pretty much only have the athletic water proof type sandals and they have those already.

I Just arrived home from dropping my mom off at the Philly Airport for her flight home to Florida. The next time I see her will be when she picks us up at the Orlando Airport next month.

:woohoo: Let the final countdown begin:

We sail away in 31 days!!!
:thumbsup2

I can send picture in email just fine, I will take the pictures of the kids when we tell them and email it to you Hanover!

We are having our pillowcases embroidered this week for the signatures. We searched for white cases for a decent price (not easy) we finally hit a sale at Target and got 2 for $17.99 - Fieldcrest 300 threadcount! I want them to last so I wanted a good quality! If it were for myself I would have splurged on HOTEL brand but I am only doing them for the kids.

Andy, the moms of our group have finally figured out how to do door signs on the computer with awesome graphics, we downloaded the disney font and we are both practicing with signs. Can wait to share them. Maybe I will email them to you and you can post on this thread since I don't know how to post!

It has been fun just playing around with the different graphics.

We are officially sailing "1" month from today
We are flying out on the 11th and going to the parks on the 12th. We are staying at hotel royal plaza by downtown disney.

Hi Everyone,

Welcome Aquagirl...if you haven't done so already, you read through this thread, you can find some GREAT tips & information posted by everyone in this thread. Even some medical advice!

We watched our DCL video, again, last night. After seeing the adult only pool (pause for a moment of "I can't wait" :cloud9: ), the race is on to convince my kids, primarily my youngest daugher Sophia, that the Oceaneer Club (?) is going to be really fun. Did any of you DCL veterans with young kids have the same challenge, and by what day did they embrace the Oceaneer Club?

Not a problem at all, I can load them into my photobucket account and post them here. I had made designs for the August 2006 cruise we were first scheduled on, but didn't print them out, I can just tweak them a bit for the May cruise. I am out of ink for my printer at the moment, I guess I better get to Staples in a hurry!!!

Our kids only spent any where from an hour to 3 hours a day in the clubs but would have spent all day if we let them. We had to convince them to spend time with us. Our youngest son turned 4 on our last (and so far only DCL) cruise and had only been away from us for preschool an hour and a half twice a week. I thought he may be afraid or not want to stay, but he loved it. Our oldest son is extremely shy (I'm talking won't say "hi" to the next door neighbors without prompting shy) and found friends right away and begged us to stay in the club. I have a feeling on this cruise they are going to want to spend as much time as possible in the club/lab. The best thing we did was ask each of them to look at their age group's navigator and highlight what they wanted to do that day. By letting them have the choice of when to go and not putting them in the club when we wanted them in it helped a lot.

:woohoo: T minus 30 days until Sailaway!!!!! :woohoo:
