Thanks Hanover...it was great news to hear, and a great idea as well.

Did I mention that DW & I are going to get into the Caribbean/Tropical mood next week? We are going to see Jimmy Buffet on the 20th! DW is a big JB fan and the tickets were actually a wedding anniversary present for DW - 11yrs on 4/29 :flower3:

I know we are meeting at the pool, sometime on day 1 (I forgot the time). The few cruises I have been on, upon setting sail, the upper decks seem to be "the place" to be to wave to the poor people not on the cruise. Does anyone "relocate" to one of these decks shortly before the ship sets sail?

Have a great time at the concert and Happy Early Anniversary!!!!!

As far as I remember the DISmeet for Saturday (5/13) is set for 3pm around the Mickey pool.

I have off tomorrow for Good Friday and I will be spending my day off having a colonoscopy done. :woohoo: I promised my DW I would have it done before my 51st birthday, which is on April 20, I like cutting things close don't I? I've been having a lot of those "once you turn 50 tests" being done lately, LOL!!! My lunch today was lime jello, and my dinner tonight is going to be chicken broth. Anybody want to come over for dinner? :lmao:

Andy: Sounds like something I would cook ;)

We will be in Cocoa Beach one month from today, probably eating at Grills about this time...

Don't forget to smile Andy :lmao:

Are you going to order reprints?

Sorry, that's the nurse humor. I could go on, but I don't think you want me too ;)

Good luck anyway.

Kathleen

Hi all

I can't believe it is finally less than a month away. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 We sail in just 29 days!!! :thumbsup2

I've been the "butt" of a lot of jokes this week, LOL!!! :rotfl2:

I just want to get this done and over with so I can eat some solid food!!!

Talk to y'all on the flip side. :wave2:

I'm now on the flip side and everything went quite well today, :thumbsup2 in fact, I even feel good enough to attend our Good Friday service at church tonight!!! :goodvibes

4 weeks from tonight, I and my family, hope to be meeting up with some of you at Grills at 5:30 for dinner. :)

Well, we told the kids - it was great, the other mom Michelle and myself spent most of the morning making signs to hang all over the yard so the kids could do a scavenger hunt. They read clues to get to the next hint of our big surprise.

I got some great pictures, of course the older ones of the crowd (age 10 & 9) just smiled but the younger 3 (8, 8 & 7) went crazy! I will try to post however I will most likely have to pass it over to Andy to post for me.

We also did a couple of signs so look for them in the near future also.

Since it is after midnight, and I'm still up, I'll do the countdown now:

 Just "28 more days to go" until we head to the Eastern Caribbean!!!

28 days woohoo! I guess I'm not losing 25 pounds before the cruise. :rotfl2:

I think Spring is *offically* here, I mowed the grass for the first time. Trees started blooming this week, things look really good wish they bloomed all summer...

28 days, should probably start getting things organized & ready to pack May 13th will be here really quickly.

Anyone get there docs yet? I dont expect ours until first of May....

I was on the phone with my mom this morning, she told me she hasn't seen any docs arriving at her place yet, but she is on the lookout and will let me know when they arrive!!! :thumbsup2 It's :sunny: and 82 here today, pollen is flying all over the place. Yep, "Spring" is upon us also!!! :yay:

Hooksenemy, the kids look like they were so excited! Thanks for sharing the pics. What a good idea doing a scavenger hunt, I'm sure it made the excitement last even longer!

Went and bought a bunch of summer dresses for my girls, there was a big sale for buy 1 get 1 half off at meijer so spent way too much money. The cashier said "you saved $126 dollars! Someone's going to be happy!" and I replied "my husband isn't". He hates it when I spend money on clothes, but with 3 growing girls what does he expect? He took it rather well though.

Can't wait for the cruise!

Hooksenemy- Glad to hear/see all went well with telling the kids.

It's getting harder and harder not to tell our boys. I'm wondering whether we'll make it to the 13th of May after keeping mum for 13 months thus far.

We were visiting my husband's 94- year- old grandmother in her nursing home the last couple of days in Pittsburgh and her 91 -year- old sister just wouldn't stop about how much fun we were going to have on our son's birthday cruise next month and how excited DH's dad was about going on it and my parents would be going....Luckily our ds8 was engrossed in a corner of the room playing his game boy (he hates the "smell" of the home and goes into a shell until we leave) and our ds5 was busy doing magic tricks for his great grandma. My husband was giving his aunt the universal "shush" finger to mouth sign and she's saying "why don't you want them to know, you need the boys to have time to get ready."

I finally started buying some brads and eyelets and thread to add to my scrapbook pages. I'm hoping to perfect my technique (and stop hitting my thumb...bought eyelet tweezers to help) before working on our cruise scrapbook. I was so tired of having the same stickers and borders for all our Disney trips the last couple years. They were all starting to look alike. I'll have to hide them from my Creative Memories consultants. They don't like anything "heavy" or non- CM that may rot my pictures one day. I figure I'm doing it for myself and my kids and don't expect the scrapbooks to be around 1,000 years.

I did find my ds5 some black dress shoes at Toysrus for $2.40! They were $19.99 and marked down to $5.80 plus 50% off. They also got their brown sandals so we're almost set.

We have not received our docs yet. I'm betting they'll be here around May1st.

Our neighborhood has already begun fertilizing, mulching and of course the battle of the greenest/neatest lawn too. We lined up our landscaper to come cut the grass when we are gone and will be going to school in another week to put in our ds8 trip excuse form. Our WDW trip links the kid's made are getting smaller and smaller.

Andy, I'm glad to hear all went well with your Dr. visit.

My FIL is now thinking of staying on site 5/12 at Disney and taking a DCL transfer on 5/13. Does anyone know if you can get the transfers from all the hotels or only specific ones? Any suggestions? We stayed at AKL last year before our cruise for a few days but took a rental car to the port.

I hope everyone has a great Easter!

The buses do not stop at all the properties. I don't recall which ones they do/dont. You can do a search or post the question, it seems to be a popular question since DCL cant come up with a list to put on their web-site :confused3

Holy crow! 26 days! You know you have the cruise on your mind when you put your reservation number into your online banking pin spot! I couldn't figure out why my id was not working until I realized what I did! Ha Ha!! :rotfl:

We got out all the summer clothes from the attic this weekend and I am getting ready to start packing (or making piles as I call it). I have a spare bedroom with a full size bed and I start making piles all over the bed when we travel so I can visualize everything before I pack it. I plan to start this week!

Hope everyone had a nice holiday!!!
Easter is not a good time to be trying to lose weight to fit into a formal gown.
I need to send all this Easter candy to my DH's work and let them eat it.
I can't have it here or I will eat it...thinking the faster I eat the faster it is out of here.... that is not going to work with a dress hanging in the closet.

Soon we'll be at the 20 day mark!!! Can you believe it. We've been booked since June 2005!!!! This has been a long time coming.
Have A Great Day Everyone....
