Littlebunny, here is how we did it last time.

Drop everyone & luggage off at terminal. MAKE SURE your husband has a photo-id to get back into the terminal. He goes & returns vehicle while you get everyone checked in.

When he gets back he will go through security, up the escalators. I had to go back to the CM who checked us in & show them my photo-id, then they gave me my KTTW card. I have read posts that some CM's will just give them all to the person checking everyone in. In any case, it wasnt a big deal for me to go & wait next to the CM until they were done with the group they were checking in & get mine.

Oh, Andy,

I hated being a teenager, until I was 17 and got my 1st job (at the Bronx Zoo!!). I was outnumbered by 4 brothers so PMSing was never an option.

Sometimes I swear my 7 yo DD is already with the hormones with her mood swings I already know we're in big trouble.

I read somewhere a long time ago that when your children deserve your love the the least, they need it the most.

Its really close, people are packing I am going crazy with the schedule that the kids have, I really will need this vacation when it comes

We leave in 21 days - for our 1 pre-sail day in WDW - still haven't decided on what kind of pass to get for our 1 day - I know multi day is best option just don't know how many

I did an awesome door sign today! I wish I could show you all - I got the picture from someone on the DIS it was such a great picture I had to find a use for it! Not only am I using it for a door magnet, I am going to use it to start my next disney album - Hanover, my CM consultant is ordering on May 1 also, she is getting me 2 new disney albums.

I logged into the Friday night cruise chat last week and this week, didn't get alot of info but had fun chatting for a little while. Has anyone ever done that?

Well off to make some dinner.

I'm envious of everyone's door magnets! I don't even know where to start on a project like that.....

DH has decided to order a tux for formal night, so it looks like we'll be dressed up!

Do we have a running list of everyone...names, kids ages, room numbers? I've noticed other people are doing that on other cruise meet threads....

Printed out a bunch of maps today of the Orlando area and Cape Canaveral. Do NOT want to get lost!

Yes, it was raining buckets earlier, the rain has let up a bit, but it is so cold, especially since it was sunny and 83* on Thursday. The weather at the port looked quite nasty today as well, but I would rather be on the ship sailing away any day compared to being at home watching it sail away online.

My DW, DD, Dmom and myself are planning on being at Grills on Friday night at 5:30.

I think I may have created a cruising monster in my daughter. Last night Angelina comes up to me and says, "Dad, do you think you can take us on a cruise in the Spring of 2008? I'd rather go on a cruise with you and mom then go on my high school senior trip to WDW." Of course I told her, "Let's see if you still feel that way when the time comes." But deep down inside, I think she would really rather do the cruise.


Teenagers, just when you think you have them figured out, you find out that you don't!!!

20 days!!!! Yippee!!

After battling what I think was every teenager in Philadelphia, I was able to finally find a dress for formal night! I was not thinking how close it is to prom season and it was a madhouse!!

Nothing like waiting until the last minute!!!

I think I'm ready to start packing? Is anyone packed already? I've spent the whole week doing summer laundry!

I still have not gotten a dress/gown for formal night, I went out Friday night tried on at least 12 gowns and hated every one for different reasons

One big reason is I love the gown I own, I have worn it on 2 cruises now and was hoping for something new but looks like the one I have will have to do

jodifla - I will help you through making a door sign if you would like or I can put one together and email it to you. If you like any of mine, we can just change the names and stick it on your door.

The other parents we are sailing with picked up a bunch of things at Disney Store & CLAIRES - for those not familiar it is an accessory store - apparently with lots of PIRATE stuff, they got lanyards, wrist bands, journals, baseball caps - the kids loved it!

Well off to clean the house to get ready for back to school tomorrow

I am just so excited! All I can think about is walking onto that beautiful ship, warm sea breezes, relaxation...the list goes on and on...

You would think that after eight DCL cruises it would be "same old, same old", but honestly it gets better every time! I just cannot wait!

I know what you mean, this is DCL #4 for DW and I, and we are just as excited about this cruise as we were for our 1st!!!

What even makes it more exciting is the fact that we will be having more family members joining us on this cruise!!!

I had to make a few slight adjustments to our plans after arriving in Florida. Due to the fact that my mom has been having some car trouble, I decided to rent a car from the airport and drive up to my mom's on Thursday evening and staying there Thursday night. We will now be arriving in the port area sometime Friday afternoon. Since we just have the one night lodging now, we decided to get a room at the Radisson using my government employee discount rate.

Andy, I know what you mean about traveling with family. DH and I are doing the Double Dip in Sept. with my cousin and her husband. We have never traveled with family and are really looking forward to it. We also have the Eastern 9/29/07 booked with DD and our two adorable DGD's. That will be a totally different experience for us, traveling with a then three year old and five year old. Different in a good way. It will be so much fun seeing the magic through the eyes of children! DH and I both come from very small families so we really cherish the family that we have and the special moments that we get to share.

Wow, 19 days! I can't believe it!

Dr. Cavin/LittleBunny - our dog Murphy is the same way. DW & I travel for work often, and every time it's the same thing~he stares at the suitcase then follows us around the house.

Hooks Enemy ~ DW & DD's are flying to meet me in Orlando on Thursday night, then on Friday we are going to Animal Kingdom for 3/4 of the day. The rental car has to be turned in to the Budget office in Port Canaveral by 6pm. Not sure if we are going to make it to Grills. But I so have a 10am shuttle reservation
