Just got back from my monthly staff meeting, and some SHOPPING!! Went to Kohl's and spent a bundle on myself. Oh well, girls gotta have some new clothes every few years!:lmao:

Uh..that's every few days for me :p I have a serious shopping problem.

Lunch...salad with chicken.

I think I decided on sushi for lunch today.

Is it too early to get the suitcases out and start throwing stuff in them? I really want to start doing that!

Oh I think you are allowed to bust out with the suitcases if you want :) I'm mainly refraining from packing right now lest my demon kitties (I love them to death, really!) decided to bless us with their un-permission (they hate when we travel). They have a thing for suitcases.

Gotta go get rid of the dust in my living room. I'd fail the white glove treatment for sure!:rotfl:

Heh. :) I'd be afraid to have someone ever white glove test my house. I know I'd fail for sure.

Good afternoon!

Ran a few errands this morning and stopped at JoAnn Fabrics and got some Disney fabric to make my photo album for the upcoming trip!! It's so cute, I'm so excited. I did one for our last trip and it turned out really nice, so I can't wait to do this one!! :yay:

Anyone ever see Flashdance?????

We are going to the incline today that the main character took in that movie. We are going up to the top of the mountain and eating at a restaurant there that overlooks the city. It's supposed to be almost 80 today, so we're eating outside!!!!! YAY!

J.

Jo - What a beautiful day to go to Mt. Washington. I've always wanted to eat up there! You'll have to give me details. . . Do you take the Monongahala Incline or the Duquene Incline? What restaurant did you eat at?

Enjoy the nice PA weather today, we are going to pay for it the rest of the week!

okay I'm back- I can't beleive I didn't notice! The last post I made was my 300th!!!!:yay: I did It!

Okay new goal- 375 by the time we leave for Disney!

Is it too early to get the suitcases out and start throwing stuff in them? I really want to start doing that! I don't know how many shorts and whatnot my kids will need before now and May 12. The weather here is supposed to turn COLD again (like 30's cold...YUCKKY)

Have a great day everyone....I'll try to check in later. Gotta go get rid of the dust in my living room. I'd fail the white glove treatment for sure!:rotfl:

Marcy - NO it's not too early to start packing!! I've been throwing stuff in the suitcases for weeks!

I believe that it is never to early to start packing for disney!
:thumbsup2
Of course our suitcase has beenin our room since the end of february- but that is when we bought it.
It is already full of some of the stuff we are taking. I don't want to forget anything.

Hi everyone!

Having beautiful weather here today. Actually, it is going to be nice all week.

Here is a question I have - What is the average you spend daily at WDW for your food and stuff? I am trying to figure how much to give to my boys, since they will be running around more than we do.

Thanks!

Had to tell my DIS friends the news.

This will be our "Mother's Day Trip" we just found out that I'm pregnant :thumbsup2 .

We had been trying for 10 years and had accepted that we wouldn't/couldn't have children, then we received our surprise. My due date is 11/21 and currently I'm 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. Can you believe it????

So, we are taking the baby on it's first trip to Disney in about a month and a half. I'm still in shock over this. I can't believe it!

We're on the dining plan, so it's hard to tell. But we do go through about 100$ a day on souvies, snacks. drinks :) this is WITH the dining plan though :) and it's for DH & I, since the kids are still small enough to share with us :)

For souvies, my kids have their own money, and it usually equals out to about $10 a day. How they spend it is up to them, but when it's gone, it's gone. (they are going on 12 and going on 8).

Before the dining plan, we figured that food would run us about $100 a day for our family of 4. But the last time we paid OOP for food was in 2004, and our kids were only 9 and 5 then (and shared alot of meals). We also didn't do alot of sit-down meals. This didn't include alcoholic beverages either. Figure in another $20/day if you have a couple (and I do mean 2! LOL) drinks. Alcohol is VERY pricey in WDW!!
