Thats too funny about the suits. I have to close my eyes when I walk past the section at any store now.

My problem is I am trying to decide what outfit for them to wear at what park. Of course I am the only one who cares. LOL Should DD wear the pink shirt with her black shorts to MK or her purple shirt with her flower print shorts? What is wrong with me?? :confused3 I should just put it all in the drawers when we get there and let them pick.

I do this too!! I try to match the clothes to the theme of the park we are going to. Maybe animals or wildlife for AK. Mickey shirts for MK. They will wear their Lightening McQueen & Mater shirts to MGM since that's where those characters are. Epcot is still up in the air. . .

I'M GETTING SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am packing alot of tank top shirts for both kids will it be hot enough in May for them? Also mine are older do I need to bring in extra change of clothes into the parks with us?

I am so sorry for all the questions ladies I just want everything perfect for the kids first trip down.

I forget how old your kids are, but mine were 4 & 6 the last time and we did not carry a change of clothes to the parks and did not ever need one.

I have not been in May, but looks like it is usually in the upper 80's, so I'd say tank tops will be good! :sunny:

Yes it will be hot enough for Tanks. As far as an extra change of clothes, we needed them :) not b/c of dirt, but b/c of those fountains that the kids can run through! haha! they were soaked and often we were too :) we always bring shirts for ourselves too!

thanks for asking that question holly
I have been wondering if I should be packing all summer clothes as well. I have put mostly shorts aside as well as tshirts for both kids. I thought it would be definitely warm enoughtemperatures, but you never know what could happen.

Although here, in Windsor, Ontario Canada it is currently 86 degrees and we are all in shorts, who would have thought that on the 27th of march.

March in Canada and summer temperatures usually do not go together.

I think some of y'all would die if I saw the mound of clothing I was going to bring with me. I've been out shopping specifically for this trip and have managed to get a new pair of shorts/capris to wear each day we are there and I have the motherload of tops I plan on bringing with me as I am horrible at outfit pre-planning. Something may look really good in my head, but when I put it on, it simply will not do. No no. I'm also bringing something like 5 pairs of shoes. Working in downtown Seattle is dangerous for me and my shopping addiction!

MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH just really p'od me off. grrrrrrrr I just told him that DD's dr. said that we need to put her astham inhaler in a cooler for the parks because it can't be in temps higher then 86 degrees. So what does DH say "we aren't bringing a cooler with us" um HELLO what does he want me to do??? let her have an attack and not her give her a treatment? I really do love the guy but sometimes he can be a BOZO:headache:

From right now I am no longer telling him squat about what I am buying or packing until the day we leave. That will make my life eaiser.:rotfl:

He just doesnt want to carry anything in the parks at all. I am going to the mall tomorrow to find a bag that I can carry instead. I hope it cost big bucks too!!!:lmao: That'll teach him.

DH has one, we carry one of those little insulated lunch boxes from the DIsney store? with a ziplock baggie of ice and then put that baggie in 2 others just to prevent sweating. Each and every CS & soda cart gives ice for free :) when the kiddies were on formula, we would stick that in there too :) it's small and portable :)

Whoa, thanks for bringing up the info on keeping the inhalers cool. I would have not even thought of that.

We haven't started any packing, but we have been buying some clothes and going to get some new shoes. Normally, I don't wear tennis shoes, but for this trip I am going to buy some to wear everyday we are at the parks.

We finally made one decision for breakfast and for dinner: Kona Cafe and Boma - but we haven't set a time or date yet. Our friends said that the Macademia nut pancakes were very good at Kona and the buffet at Boma is very unique and tasty. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Hello all!!!

It is sooo beautiful out!! I LOVE IT!! I wore flip flops out today. YEAH!!

Clothes for vaca- I dont like to decide what the kids are wearing everyday ahead of time. I usually decide on the day or the night before.

Does anyone watch Seinfield? I am like George and it depends on my mood. LOL:rotfl:

So I will be bringing 2 outfits for the kids everyday. I usually change them 2 times a day. I just went to old navy today and spent a small fortune on shorts for me but it was mostly for the girls.

BIG NEWS AGAIN!! I went down a size in my shorts and shirts too!!! YEAH!! I havent been this small since before I was pregnant so with that being said I will need a whole new wardrobe. It has been over 3 years since I weighed this little.

I missed you guys today. My cousin came over today and I made all her adrs for her trip in August.

Ok gotta go get dinner ready. Tonight is sausage and peppers and the grill. Due to the beautiful weather.

What is everyone cooking tonight?

All y'all with your home cooked meals make me jealous :( I'll be eating something microwaved again no doubt unless I can convince the DH to make spaghetti.

i'm thinking about what to do with the chicken breasts i defrosted today! i have lots of veggies, but not really sure what to do

It got a little cooler, our original plan was to make some sandwiches and throw a veggie platter and juice boxes & water into the picnic basket and head off to the park, but the weather has turned us around! Thank goodness i thought of defrosting meat early just in case!!

I have started on a salad already and squeezed some lemonade, but that's as far as i've gotten!

I was reading the Dining Plan threads and they got me hungry!!!

Congrats on going down a size Huggie! Good for you!! :yay:

I'm not sure what I'm going to make for supper. We were having the nicest day out, but then the skies let loose. Reminds me of a Florida downpour, the only trouble is ours will go on for days instead of minutes!! :umbrella: :boat:
So much for cooking on the grill like last night. . . Guess it will probably be leftovers.

Seacrest - Sorry we have not been to either Kona or Boma, but have also heard they were both very good!

Seacrest- That place looks yummy. We are going to Kona and Boma this year. I hope they are good.

Great choices...We love the Kona Cafe...Dinner...service is excellent...great food and 'to die for desserts'...Breakfast is also as good and plentiful...we have never had a bad meal at Kona.
Boma...like the way it is set-up in stations...wonderful soups, salads, breads, wood roasted meat...and zebra domes for dessert..great...just...great. (insert a drooling smilie here) :thumbsup2
Boma's also has a child section....
Oh...come on vacation :lmao: just 42 more days.
