WOOHOO!! i figured out dinner!



We're having Tomatoes & Mozzerella salad with a drizzling of oil and dill (i sampled it already! hahah it's yummy!)

THen Rosemary Chicken and Mushrooms over a bed of fettucine with steamed broccoli topping it (it smells good, can't wait to try!!)

DH ran to the store to get some french bread since i forgot to tell him on his way home!!

Great choices...We love the Kona Cafe...Dinner...service is excellent...great food and 'to die for desserts'...Breakfast is also as good and plentiful...we have never had a bad meal at Kona.
Boma...like the way it is set-up in stations...wonderful soups, salads, breads, wood roasted meat...and zebra domes for dessert..great...just...great. (insert a drooling smilie here)
Boma's also has a child section....
Oh...come on vacation just 42 more days.

Glad to hear about Kona, we are looking forward to eating there. The Kona menu had some similar items that we had at a breakfast shack in Kauai a few years ago. I wonder if there will be some geckos running around restaurant too? LOL!

Haven't eaten at Kona yet, but we have eaten at Boma twice. The food is very good! It's not so different that it's weird, but it's not plain either (hope that makes sense!). I particularly love their soups. The Butternut Squash soup is to die for....it tastes like warm, liquidy pumpkin pie. YUMMO!! They have unique salads and great fresh fruit. And their dessert bar is pretty extensive. I love the coconut tiramisu. The zebra domes, although popular on these boards, just don't do it for me. I like chocolate, but they didn't live up to the hype.

I am really hoping to eat at Jiko one of these trips. My friend just ate there in January and RAVED about it. She said it was fantastic!! I think it might be a must for a "foodie"...so we'll have to plan on that someday! LOL

Good morning-
well our summer like temperature disappeared over night. It was beautiful while it lasted though.

Started packing the suitcases last night after reading all the packing posts you wrote on here yesterday. I fall into the pre-planned coordinating outfits for the kids category.
Of course that is also how I shop. I go to gymboree and by multiple items from the same line so that everything the kids wear matches something else. Pathetic I know. But it also lets my kids get dressed by themselves with no worries.

I have also started thinking about the little things I will need.
toiletries, sunscreen, sun glasses, sun hats, extra batteries for sons camera and leapster for the plane, extra memory cards for the cameras. etc.

only 45 days to go.

Good morning, everyone, I am getting ready to go to bed in a few minutes. I just wanted to tell everyone that last night at Kohl's we got in really really cute nightgowns with the princesses on them and a 3 peice PJ set, shirt, shorts and pants with them on there also. I can honestly say that DD NEEDS new summer jammies and if they just happen to get bought before vacation imagine that.

I think I am going to have to get our summer clothes out of storage from the basement soon just so I can pack, not because we need them here yet! Temps went back into the 50's today. Oh how I can't wait for the Florida sun!!

Wow- if the biggest problem I have today is trying to figure out what the pants to shorts ratio is that I should pack for Disney- then I am having an awesome day!!!!


2 pants- 5 shorts for 8 days
