IOP would be fab - we got married on the beach at SI though on the quiet end closest to the harbor past the Fort.

Oh wow, that sounds beautiful.
We're planning on going home for the 4th of July for 2 weeks. I can't wait to get there.

Weather here is nasty as well. DH has worked from home all week, and today decides he has to go into the office, of all days!

Oh, good! Did you get good flight times? I think the prices s*ck big time right now.

We started looking at all of our tax stuff, and with the relocation we had last year, as well as the company car that he has, Mark made just waaaayyyy too much money. Funny, we didn't see all that much of it, since Uncle Sam had his fingers all in it.

I am scared to go to the accountant. Disneyland may forever be a dream to me.

We got the first flight out. I like to be there nice and early. We land around 9am, So I can take advantage of the day.

We are waiting for one more thing for our taxes, I sure hope we get a good return. I hope you get a good one too.

Morning all... Oh it seems as if everyone's babies are sick..... OH Please keep it over there... My DD tends to have feveral seizures... and they scare the heck out of me...

Huggie - YAY for your airfare... i've been going crazy looking for something the only thing I find is 777. for the 3 of us... per DH request.. Non stop.. leaving here at 7 am and coming back at 7 pm.... i'm telling u no room for saving but oh well what can i do... i saved some money on the package atleast...

Here's hoping everyone gets plenty of Disney money from their tax refunds.

Jo - I would love to go to CHS for July 4th since that is my Mom's 83rd birthday. Her parents used to tell her that the whole country celebrated her birthday with fireworks each year. (Oh, for the record, you can not shoot off fireworks on the beach at IOP.... don't ask me how I know... ).

Awwwwwww I know where every single photo was taken!

Charleston is a gorgeous town - that's for sure. I miss the weather, my parents, my doctors and friends but I sure don't miss getting stuck behind the horse carriages when trying to drive downtown.

ETA: The 3rd photo down (the one taken from high battery) was taken right by where we had to park when I went to high school and walk down Water Street to the school on Meeting Street. Ah, memories...

Today so far, she has felt great. I think I may escape it. I have been very tired and took a little evening nap the last two days which is just not like me at all. But other than that, I have been fine. Thanks for asking!

My DSL has been down for 2 days. What a pain!!
Just when I needed it the most! I was all ready to do our taxes. I am anticipating a big refund like last year!! Hope so anyway, I already charged airfare!

School was cancelled here too.

Actually when I got up at 6:30 the TV said 2 hour delay.(which means the bus will come at 9:20 instead of 7:20) Waited until 8:20 and checked again and it still said 2 hour delay. So I got the kids all ready and at 9:00 my neighbor called and said - did you see they just changed it to cancelled! Well that's nice. Gee....thanks for the warning school! I am surprised, usually they are a little better about things.

Jo - you'll love this but I am using some of my SC pictures to use as artwork for our new bedroom. I am changing them to sepia, cropping and blowning up particular architectural elements or iron work. So far they look good, I'll pick them up at the printer on Monday.

Our little romantic getaway, continues to inspire me.

It's a Snow day here too!
and the kids had no school yesterday either, as it was a Professional Development day for the teachers, so Ethan David only had three days of school this week.

I didn't bother taking Emmy to preschool either... if the buses and such were not running, then neither was this mom...just to be safe.
