What a fabulous sounding birthday, Lake!!!!! I love it. I know that your son will adore it too, and be thankful for all you give to him. Yum, cupcakes...:lovestruc

So are you cooking anything in particular for his special day? My kids always choose what they are having me fix. I'd rather go out to eat, ha.

We haven't seen The Water Horse. The kids wanted to see it over vacation, but saw Alvin and the Chip. instead. I didn't go.

Thanks for the sweet words, Lake. You are a dear. But I am spoiled. At least I admit it.:rotfl:

Have a great night with your birthday Boy!!!!!!!:wizard:

October?????? Any news?

Hi Mayers! Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

My day started a little sad. :sad1: My kids were on the verge of tears about having to go back to school today, which makes me sad for them. I love being with them over the break and really hate to see them go back. However to try to cheer them up, I told them I must not be mean enough if they want to stay home with me rather than go to school! I told them I would try to be meaner so they would like school more! Ha! Then I asked my son if he would like to be home schooled and he said, "I would love to be home schooled but I am not sure about the quality of the education I would receive!" :lmao: Uh, was that an insult to me? :confused3

Yesterday we made it to the top of Pinnacle Mountain. However, we forgot to bring our cameras, so we do not have photographic evidence. (Which means it didn't count!) So we will have to do it all over again!

Lake - It sounds like you are going to have a great birthday for your son afterall! We have not seen Waterhorse. Please give us a review! Please tell him happy birthday from all of us!

Jo - Hope all goes well with the Ortho! Please give us a report! What soaps are ya watchin'? :happytv:

Mari - R U back? How was Toys R Us? :rainbow:

Huggie - You must post photos of your newly painted room! :thumbsup2

Sulley - How many days now?

Sea - I am truly jealous that you can go to DL so much. I think I may need therapy! (Just kidding! ....well maybe not) :sad2:

Shelly - Keep a watch on that ear. You just never know!

Have a great day everyone!

hah...DH just called and asked if DS wouldlike to go out for dinner instead... great minds think alike. DS had requested his favorite chicken dish... so I think we will go to the restaurant that I copied it from...hahahahaha

and as for October.

I'm still working on that.

My new contract starts at the end of August, so it may be hard to book vacation time right away like that. But we will see what we can do. DH and I are very interested in joining you, so it may take a little manuevering to get it done,

trust me ....... I'm not saying NO! :)
I have managed harder things in the past.

7 More Days! 1 Week! Yay! :woohoo:  :yay:

I'm not at all excited here ;)

However, instead of packing stuff like I had planned to do, my DBestFriend called me up and we went computer shopping for her today and I spent the afternoon setting everything up for her....She wanted to get it done before I left and left her w/o a computer person for 8 months.

An entire room full of stuff to pack !

Hi Mayers! Hope you are all having a wonderful day!
Mari - R U back? How was Toys R Us? :rainbow:

Hello... It was great. My DD loved seeing the big carousel and the HUGE Barbie section they have there. I forgot how big it was over there. We have to make another trip over there we only visited about 30% of the store. A person can really make a day of a trip there.

Sulley: I hope you take lots of pics and videos for us drool over of your whole CP WDW experience. Don't flake out on us now...we want at least weekly reports! :rotfl2:

NC: The joke around our home is that going to DL is cheaper than paying for therapy! It's okay to be jealous, just don't hate me for it ;) Hopefully, my videos and slide shows give you taste what is going on out here at the DL and it brings back some good memories of your Disney experiences.

Jo: I don't think WDW has ever had Alice In Wonderland. Most little kids get scared on Snow White or Mr. Toad's. Too bad about the nightmares - do you still have them? :rotfl:

Re: The Water Horse - my sister took her son (7) and daughter (4) to the movie. Her son was completely bored and almost slept through it and her daughter kept asking when the water horse was coming and why the actors were talking funny all the time (Scottish accents). The previews give you the idea you are going to see so much of this mysterious creature, but in reality, there are very few scenes with the water horse in it. I guess their CGI budget was pretty limited. My sister wish she had not had gone - better to rent the DVD if you really need to see it.

Another onride video for you all. This time it's Mulholland Madness at Disney's California Adventure. Sadly this one of the rides that will be taken out soon to make way for the future changeover and expansion of that park. We had heard a rumor that the ride's last day was yesterday or later this week, so we had to ride and video it before it goes away.

I think you are right. DL is cheaper than therapy. I do love your videos. I will have to check out the new ones posted today later. I am jealous but I don't hate you - that's for sure. ;) Keep those videos and pics coming!

Morning all...... I'm stuck in a pickle.... I was talking to my DH last night and we have to make our final decision on what resort either POP or CSR. I'm booking it on Saturday and all he told me was "uh whatever i don't care whichever one is fine" AAHHHH i'm stuck between both:headache: . I like the look of POP but the rooms seem small. Last year i stayed at CBR and they had nice rooms i dont' know if i will be able to go smaller then that.....CSR also loks great... it's only about $400 more to stay in CSR so price isn't really an issue... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!! what would you do?????

I'd stay at POFQ...:lovestruc
Oh wait, that wasn't a choice...:lmao:

CSR, but make sure you request a building close. I don't like POP, but it's just me. I am over stimulated VERY easily.:dance3:

thank you for your advice.... i am actually leaning towards CSR... i like having a bigger room... i love the look of CSR. I actually wanted CBR again but their pool is being refurbished so that took that resort out of the running.....

OH MY Lord... i just checked airfare again... it went up.... OH MY GOD the way this is going i think we'll pay more for airfare then for the resort... i think i'm going to buy my airfare by the end of this month...

What about Airtran? did you see my post about SW realeasing dates tomorrow? You might get a ding closer to the trip. I was trying to see when we bought tix last year for May and can't seem to find it. Early Feb. maybe was a cheap fight, but with oil prices, I think it's a thing of the past.

Keep looking, everyday.

Mari, whatever resort you pick, it will be a good choice because you are going to have fun and memorable time at WDW. Relax and flip a coin - you going to have a blast!
