Hey guys!
So good to hear from all of you! NewCrew, you stranger you! We've missed you! When is that TR going to get done???? We are all on pins and needles to read the rest!
We have had a very busy weekend. Had company. UGH.
Do you ever have company come to town and you really do feel like a horrible, terrible no-good friend, but you just wish they would go back to where they came from???

That was me this weekend.
On Friday afternoon, I came home from Sam's (love it, BTW) with twenty-five million groceries to put away. I backed the Acura into the garage so that I could unload from the back. I went downstairs to the basement to put all the exta stuff into the other fridge and came back up to see the door into the garage closed. "Who closed the garage?" I asked my kids and DS says (all proud, because he had locked it and we were safe from all of the predators lurking out there in the woods where our closest neighbor is a half mile away) "I did Mom." I openend the door to find...
The garage door (the big one, with the openner) had been closed on top of the front of the Acura. It's one of those old ones with no sensor.
I started saying oh no, oh no. Um, oh yes. One of the bolts to the door had scraped all the way down it and lodged itself into the front of the car.
I was scared to tell DH. Oh my. I cried, almost threw up (but of course, you all know me by now, LOL) and decided to wait on DH to call from work. Oh, and company was only hours from arriving.
Anyway, long story, I know, but as if I didn't have enough to fuss about...
I haven't packed the house up, I haven't done anything but rebel and revolt. I work better under pressure anyway.
The kids are going to their new schools that starts on the 28th and I still haven't called for their transcripts.
Horrible, terrible Mom I am. But I went swimming with them this morning so I'm still okay. Who needs school anyway????
Everyone check in here...I need to keep my sanity!
Jo
