Oops i have to fix that! not until November of 2008! we thought going again sooner, but we just can't fit it into our schedule!

Did not get towel animals...never have! :sad1: We did get two nice things for our anniversary...AKL...A card and two animals carvings...a Lion and Lioness and when you opened the carvings up they held perfume in the Lioness and cologne in the Lion...And at the Poly two card and pictures one is Mickey and Minnie and Lilo and Stitch wishing us a Happy Anniversary...with the anniversay buttons...

Michelle...I see you are thinking of doing a split stay...This is what we liked and didn't like about our split stay...
Liked...Doing the shorter stay at the beginning of the trip...we did 3 nights at the AKL...Get two different resort in one trip...the ease of changing resorts, went very smooth...transportation to other parks was fast and easy.

Didn't Like...not getting settled in...first part of the stay we did not unpack and it was...well unsettling :rotfl2:

All in all not bad...but for us we would not do it again...
Now I'm trying to talk the kids into going again next year, maybe June or ???
Our GS would like to stay at the Contemporary...but I'm sold on the Poly...I think we will do a shorter stay...again maybe... just 9 or 10 nights but I would like to take the GS to NASA and Coco Beach and Universal...decisions! well we have time :woohoo: to think on it...:dance3:

haha that's what we were worried about! before kids we always did split stays and loved it! Now with 3 of them, we are a little leery! haha! but we HATED the bus systems with 2 kids and 2 strollers and next year will be worse since we will have 3 kids and 2 strollers still  so we are thinking about Beach club for our Epcot, MK & MGM days since it's all Boat except having to go on a boat and through EPCOT to get to the monorail for MK (but at least it's our FAVE park AND way better than the bus :) )

Then we will head to AK at the end of our stay for our R&R days and our AK day, since it's pretty close and we won't be on the bus too long ::yes::

We are also looking at doing 10 days 9 nights and only about 2 or 3 nights at AKL, so not too long :)

I must admit that i fell in love with all the snack like foods in the department like store in Japan! we bought so many yummy things!

1. We bought my Ds a Sorcerer Mickey at downdown Disney store on the last day we were there (Sat) and when we got home we noticed that he is all ripped up in the tummy area. Looks like someone tried to pull the rope off his costume. Of course we bought it last minute and didn't inspect it real well. Is there anything we can do about it now? Maybe a number we can call to have it replaced?

2. Before we left on our trip I got an email showing me how I could download my family pictures from Disney and make a family video. Of course now that I have the pictures I can't find the site. Any ideas of the site?

TIA, Roxanne

Confession...:rolleyes1

We didn't like the DDP!!!!!!:scared1:

We ended up buying a lot OOP b/c DH has a HUGE (I mean huge!!!!) appetite!
He is a runner/weight lifter and his metabolism is so high, he stays hungry all of the time. Plus, he is a no-to-low fat food person, so he didn't eat much in the dessert department. (Sorbet, anyone?:sad2: )

So, next time, no plan. But we are happy we tried it for once.;)

I, however, was perfectly happy licking the bowl clean of each and every Creme Brulee I had.:rotfl:

I agree with you Jo....I really enjoyed the DDP my first solo trip, but this time, it was just way too much food, the only meal I ate completely at the restaurant was at Narcoosee's. I'll probably do it again if I go with a group of people, but solo, I'm going to stick with getting a DDE card.

Hey guys,

You are all busy posters today.

The souvenirs we got are.

Cindy dress for Meghan
crowns for the girls
my little pony stuff
potato head pieces
Magnetic storybooks
cups
lite up icecubes
shirts
braclets
personalized ornaments(my favorite)
mickey earrings
minnie pj's

and

The disney railroad. Dh doesnt know about it. :rotfl2: I had it mailed to us. He will probably freak.

So Dh and I HATED most of the food in disney. Maybe because we live in NY and the food is great here. The only places we liked were, storybook breakfast, crystal palace breakfast, le cellier, and ohana for the turkey and pork.

San Angel Inn was gross
Mama melrose was so bad I had to send my food back.
1900 park faire was bad
boma was ok but not worth all the money
chef mickey dinner was not good at all too

We said we might just keep going back to le cellier to eat all day or just do breakfast and eat counter services for dinner. We were not on a dining plan so it seemed liek such a waste to spend all the money on gross food.

Early evening all

DH eats a ton and the DDP plan left him full constantly! haha! that's why we love it!!

I must agree about San Angel Inn, but that is mainly b/c i'm Mexican and know the real thing! we've eaten there pre dining plan and loved it, now it just seems to be yucky and they are cooking more quantity and lost the quality of EVERYTHING :sad2:
