That is what I was wondering. If I have a wireless card I shouldn't have to pay anything per day right? I am borrowing inlaws laptop and they have a card thru Verizon.

If you're using Verizon you won't have to pay, but I'm using Disney's high speed access...

She's less than a block away from Starke Elem.....I read in an article that they were using Madison Street Baptist Church as a shelter, I know she's only a few blocks from there too...so I think she's pretty safe for the time being....

Huggie.....my only issue with that is I have a Mac laptop and I really haven't found anything with it that works well....The only time I would use it anyway would be traveling, I get free wifi at work and school, so the $40 or so that I'll pay for internet access while here is fine for me, I just build it into my trip budget.

I've thought about doing that too but I just don't seem to travel enough with my laptop in tow to justify the expense. And when I do use the laptop at home, I have my own wireless network set up. My laptop isn't my main puter.

My dh uses it for his job. He doesnt work in an office everyday so he needs access on the road.

hopefully it won't rain too long and as much as I don't want it raining on vacation we desperately need it. The fires that closed I-75 yesterday were due to a cigarette butt tossed off the interstate....so we need a bit of rain!!

I know exactly where that is. She is fine just very smoky and needs to stay inside. It is probably 10 miles from there at least. More towards Camp Blanding area if you know where that is.

Michelle I hope the smoke doesn't bother you being PG. My sinus problems are killing me and I haven't even gone outside today.

I personally would rather the rain for a few hours to make the smoke go away rather than having smoke for 5 days. It is miserable.

Oh, I'm glad you mentioned that! DS occasionally gets "asthmatic bronchitis" sp?? He has an inhaler if he ever feels a little trouble. He never has had an attack, (thank God) but I better pack that inhaler just in case! Been watching the news all day about the fires/storm brewing on the east coast! Just want to get there and get there safe! God willing 24 hours from now we will be arriving at the door of POP!

Definately bring sinus meds and anything you need for asthma.
