Oh, I'm glad you mentioned that! DS occasionally gets "asthmatic bronchitis" sp?? He has an inhaler if he ever feels a little trouble. He never has had an attack, (thank God) but I better pack that inhaler just in case! Been watching the news all day about the fires/storm brewing on the east coast! Just want to get there and get there safe! God willing 24 hours from now we will be arriving at the door of POP!

Yup we packed 4 inhalers so that i can pack one in each stroller and he can carry one and one stays in the safe! haha! that way he is never without one! we also have the portable Nebulizer going with us too!

Ok I am now freaking out!! We leave for VA Friday morning at 4:00 and after visiting my sister we are leaving at 3:00 for the autotrain. DD has horrible asthma, and I am so freaking out about the fires and the smoke. We are suppose to go to a zoo in Sanford Fla before going to Pop Saturday afternoon. DH just saw the weather for Saturday RAIN! I know Fla really needs it for the fires and smoke, but WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! I am am freaking out. I have no idea what we will do when we arrive on Saturday if its raining. The rooms aren't ready until late afternoon and we get in around 9:30-10:00. I think I need a drink. LOL

We are aiming for both!! soo excited! i've never done them before!!

I'm not really a bathing suit type of gal (meaning: I hate the whole process of trying, buying and wearing one). Also, I don't really relish the idea of wearing my glasses an entire day while I frolic in water. Contacts + chlorine do not mix. The DH probably would love it if we went to the water parks, but as I did the planning, we are not I definitely do want to hear about them, though.

I've never actually tried contacts and going underwater before. I had just heard that the 2 do not mix very well so I didn't want to try it.

Heh...I have to say that is probably one of the reasons I don't want to do the water parks. I'm one of those people that LOVES seeing what people wear on a daily basis. I just don't want to be one of the people that someone else might like to watch

hahah!! i know what you mean! i'm sure i'm on other peoples radars too! but i figure i'm pregnant this year, so it's a perfect time to test out the waterparks!

I know exactly where that is. She is fine just very smoky and needs to stay inside. It is probably 10 miles from there at least. More towards Camp Blanding area if you know where that is.

No rain here, a breeze has gotten stronger, but it's cleared off quite a bit from earlier....There's almost no trace of haze from the smoke anymore and the smell has gone down quite a bit as well.....At this point, I'd say your best bet is just to be aware that there might be a chance of the smoke, be prepped for it, and keep an eye out, it may very well clear off if it gets smokey. Now I just need to get around to head out again.....
