I GOT MY PLASTIC SLEEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jumping1:

   :cool1: :cool1:

Yay! I contacted my TA today and mine still hasn't arrived. I swear she must be getting irritated with my emails. They all start with: 'I know you must think me impatient, but......'

Excuse me, please clarify. This isn't what you really mean? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Going_commando

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Heavens NO! That could lead to some seriously uncomfortable chafing!

Nope...commando style as in: wake up at the crack of dawn, scout out which park opens earliest, be there when they open, go all day, figure out which park is open latest, close the place down, then go to DTD to par-tay! :teeth: Not quite that bad, but we are usually someplace when it opens, and there or somewhere else when it closes...

No little ones = no afternoon siesta for us. We have 5 1/2 days, and by golly, we're gonna cram as much fun into them as we can :thumbsup2

Heavens NO! That could lead to some seriously uncomfortable chafing!

Heh..chafing and amusement parks reminds me of this one trip to DL the DH and I took. We had gone on the ride at DCA like Kali River Rapids and how gotten drenched. DH was wearing heavy cargo type shorts and I was wearing pretty light cotton capris. I dried pretty quickly, but he did not.

Fast forward an hour: we are back at DL and standing in line for something in Fantasyland (I can't remember the ride :p) and he starts to fidget back and forth. I ask him what's wrong. He whispers in my ear: "I'm chafing. My underwear won't dry." He kept wiggling the rest of the time we were in line and eventually we had to leave the park so that he could put on some dry shorts and underwear :p

Needless to say, this year I got him hiking shorts made to deal with water. I'm so not cutting a day short because his 'boys' don't mix well with water.

I'm not sure if I should hug you, punch you or Thank You! :rotfl2: Loved that basket and because I can't find out the Sekkrit... I ordered one for the Grandson.

Awesome :) Be sure to post a picture when you get it! And please no with the punchy punchy :rotfl:

Our children are the furry and meowy kind. I don't think the mouse would like us dragging along some kitties in mesh covered cat strollers (they do exist and let me tell ya, I've been tempted to buy one for giggles).

This is also sort of a last hurrah type of trip before we board the baby making train.

Gotcha :thumbsup2 I have 3 boys from my first marriage (23, 21. and 16) and DH and I (together 10 years, married 7) also have the furry meowy kinda kids. The thought of putting Evil Princess-Not-So-Bright -- excuse me, TRYING to put her -- into a stroller is a terrifying thought! :scared1: She is the most anti-social, cranky, psycho, maladjusted cat I've ever had. But, I love her anyway...and she loves me...at least she seems to...

I am pretty much bringing anything I can think we would need.

Regular band aids
Blister block band aids
body glide
Aleve & Tylenol
Immodium AD (in case a case of explosive 'I so should not have eaten that' strikes)
Tums (see above)
eye drops
neosporin
sunscreen
hand sanitizer
Airbourne

So far that's my list. But I'm sure I'll add more as we near the date.

Thank you...good info. Yes, Immodium is a "don't leave home without it" item. I have to be so careful drinking local water anywhere away from home. Not that it's bad...and our water at home is actually not so great...it's just that it's not what my tummy is used to. Drinking anything but bottled water while traveling can usually mess me up pretty bad :sad2: And even if I avoid tap water, there's coffee, tea, fountain sodas, ice cubes -- it adds up.

Cheap rain ponchos (disposable)

sudafed
claritin
cough syrup (we always have some sort of allergy episode at wdw)

What is the first park you are going to?

and what is the first ride you are headed to?

MK...Pirates, because I'm not scared of it and it's tradition that the first ride be Pirates. :)

Congrats on 20,000 Michelle!!, Congrats on the sleeve-sniffing Katiebell!!

Is it May yet? :snooty: pleasetellmeitsmayevenifitsalie

Thank you for clarifying that. You never know about people until you ask.

Oh yes, good additions. I definitely need to go pick up some cold & allergy medicine in case either of us get airplane-fluenza.

And now for my acceptance speech!

I would like to thank the MAYers for being soo crazy-gung-ho about getting post counts up and the pages of this thread up, that they have assisted me in reaching this life long goal :)

And now ladies and gentlman:

Yep, time to whip out the baby powder from my bottomless back pack and say, "OK, go take care of it!" :rotfl2:

Grizzly River Run at DCA -- love it, but you do get soaked. Sometimes even with a poncho on. Nice if it's really hot out, but I hate walking around in squishy wet shoes. We are avoiding the Kali River Rapids at AK for that reason alone -- don't want to go to dinner at Boma soaking wet

:lmao: Guess I should add baby powder to my shopping list!

I have to admit I bought shoes JUST for our AK day because I am fully expecting to get drenched. I bought some water sandal/tennis shoes made by Teva for the day.

Speaking of food, we just made MORE changes to our ADR's
Cancelled Tonys Town Square, it just wasn't working with our itinerary. Cancelled Kona Breakfast also, we will just get room service Tonga Toast or get it at Capt cookes. We picked up Plaza for lunch and Rose and Crowne for dinner. We got a 6:50 at R&C - what do you think our chances are for seeing Illuminations from there?

Add some cough syrup in there...I had to spring for a bottle of Robitussin last trip. It set me back $8 for a very small bottle. This time I'm packing the contents of my medicine cabinet! :rotfl:

You sure have some really nice meals. I am jealous

We had Manwich, mac and cheese and I had a nice cold beer.

Dinner tonight was Florentine Lasagna Rollups (love that Market Day food!), (no sauce on mine), and salad. I just ate a piece of carrot cake leftover from the weekend (my mommy made it...it was so good!!)
