Hi Marcy!

Try not to drown today! All of this rain is yucky, but I'll take it above snow any day of the year. Maybe after this week we can get some warm temps!

The kids (well, me too) are ready to open up thatpool in the back yard!!!!

I'm off. We're swimming out to some open houses in our area. Have a great day MAYers!

:thumbsup2

Yes...one more item checked off my vacation to-do list..I ordered from the GardenGrocer this morning..paid.. and got a email comfirmation...sooo coool.

How do you do that if you don't have a room assigned yet? My DS, her DH and DGD will be coming to WDW about halfway through our trip. They are also staying at the Pop, and we will meet up with them a couple of times, but won't be touring with them (ie, we are kid-less and will be spending a lot of time in Epcot, the PI nightclubs, have tix for La Nouba, etc. and they are doing things like the BBB and taking their DGD to dinner w/Cindy at 1900 Park Fare  )

Anyway.........we would both like to order a few things from GG, since we'll each be considerably below the $50 minimum we thought we'd split the order. Most of her stuff would not need to be refrigerated, probably just like coffee creamer we could keep in a cooler, and the rest is stuff like bottled water and sodas. So we'd have it delivered to our room, then when they come in, we can bring their stuff to them in their room. So how early in advance do I need to order, and what do I tell them regarding room number?

When you order...it will ask you what resort you will be staying at..date to be delivered and a time frame for delivery...There is a message box...in it I put my reservation number for the resort I will be staying at.
The minimum sub-total is $40.00 and you can pay with PayPal.
GG has all the resorts addresses and you can just click the resort. Hope this helps.

Thanks! That helps a lot... :goodvibes So I don't need a room number, just a resort and date...and I assume they leave the delivery at the bell desk? Or for time frame, does that mean we need to be at the resort during a certain time period to sign for the order or anything like that? Looking at our itinerary, I don't think we are going to be at the Pop more than a few hours a night to sleep  Seriously, with no little ones on this trip, we haven't planned to go back for midday breaks; we'll pretty much be at a park or on our way to another park.

If you are not in your room they will leave it with bell service.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...how far of a commute would it be for him if you didn't move?
When DH was working he spent years commuting..on the road for 3/4 hrs. round trip...depending on traffic...Love that man:hug:
JC

depending on weather and traffic- it's about 40 minutes right now, but could be as much as an hour.
which isnt that bad.
so not a problem is we do end up building on right where we are.

what kinds of things did you order.
since we are a group i'v ebeen wondering if we should do this to, and make things easier and possibly cheaper by splitting it between the 9 of us.

water, juice, cereal milk etc.

okay my may frineds i need advise and your personal experiences here.

when using the dining plan

how do you usually distribute your credits through out the day?

we have booked mainly dinners, and 2 breakfasts through out our stay and planned on using the counter service for our lunches.

if we use cs for lunch and ts for dinner- what do you normally do for breakfast. do you pay out of pocket or do you try and use your snack credits for breakfast. this is what i am hoping we can do as we are all light breakfast eaters normally. is this possible.
