okay my may frineds i need advise and your personal experiences here.

when using the dining plan

how do you usually distribute your credits through out the day?

we have booked mainly dinners, and 2 breakfasts through out our stay and planned on using the counter service for our lunches.

if we use cs for lunch and ts for dinner- what do you normally do for breakfast. do you pay out of pocket or do you try and use your snack credits for breakfast. this is what i am hoping we can do as we are all light breakfast eaters normally. is this possible.

Lake
You can use your snack credit anytime.. so if a snack item (see list on page 291-4365) is a item you would eat for breakfast... you can use it that way.
Does this make any sense ???
And if I'm wrong someone will come by and give the correct information ;)

no it makes sense, i was hoping cereal would be listed at POp century as a usable snack credit. but it is not on the list. it is at other hotels , just not pop. we will probably pay out of pocket for breakfasts each day, and use the snack credits for fun things like dole whips in the parks.

i just wanted to know if anyone has used their snack credits for breakfast before

thank you for rsponding though jc.:surfweb:

Hello everyone!!

Meet the Robinsons is such a GREAT Movie!!! I cried, but I do have to admit I cry at everything. When DH and I saw titanic, I was hysterical.:lmao:

I would recommend everyone seeing it. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Ok gonna go rest. I am so tired with this rainy weather. I hope we dont get to flooded. My mom is right across the street from the canal. She said the water is slowly creeping up. :scared1:

Lake we ordered water....lots of water :rotfl2: juice and laundry items...they have everything you could want or need and if you don't see it on the website you can call and see if it is available...the water in Florida is :scared:

Yeah, even if water somewhere isn't bad, both my sis and I have trouble drinking local water when traveling -- serious tummy upset :crazy2: just from a change to what we aren't used to. So we knew we both were going to be ordering a case or two of water anyway, and we're both using the ME so we won't have cars to just run to the store. I even saw that Garden Grocer sells cheap little styrofoam coolers that are big enough for 2 gal of milk, so should totally be big enough for our purposes. Maybe we can find a family as we leave that we can "pixie dust" the cooler to if they need it :)

i am currently at my MIL for dinner- she is the grandma going to disney with us. she siad she would want water and such at the hotel- so it looks like we will be placing at garden grocer order as well.

thanks for the imput everyone.

even here- i cant keep from check in with all of you.:rotfl:

I just ordered my Disney Rewards Card for the trip.:goodvibes

Off to make dinner.

What's on the menu for everyone?

I am making pepper steak, minus the steak. I don't eat red meat so I will subsitute chicken.

Thinking lunch...I can't get into 'what's for dinner' yet :thumbsup2 ...I love you east coast(ers)...you are always giving us ideas for dinner...:)

I have been spending some of my day getting things done for our trip...It's sunny here but the wind ............................ can almost blow you away  so I'm not going outside for any reason... ahhh ahhh choo!

Hi Everyone! Just dropped dd at a swimming party. Thought I would catch up on what you guys have been doing.

Huggie! Did you love the movie? We loved it. I wanted to go back this weekend but there wasn't time a when everyone in the family was available so we opted out. My kids have busy social lives!

Well, dh and I going over to the neighbors for a little bit. We usually get together on Sunday nights.

Talk to you soon.

Oh, and I love all the talk about gardengrocer.com.

Does anyone here order water from staples? I read somewhere that they deliver for free? Has anyone done this?

OK...just wanted to make sure my 600th post was on THIS thread :goodvibes

It's really windy here, too, JC...

huggie -- then wouldn't that be pepper chicken? Dinner for us is...probably reservations :rotfl2: Funny, DH was just asking me what's for dinner tonight.

lake - we are fairly light breakfast eaters, too, especially since we try to hit some of the bigger rides like Space Mountain as soon as we get to the parks (NOT a good idea right after a big breakfast :crazy2:) We are just desperate to find a decent cup of CS coffee, have heard it can be tricky to find. Even though we usually eat small breakfasts, we have 3 character breakfasts planned  Ah well, it's Disney...we'll love them, I'm sure. We love Goofy's Kitchen at DL! The other days, though, I'm thinking sweet rolls and fruit, hopefully coffee if we can find it...

KattieBell I read that one of the reasons the coffee is so bad...is the Water :rotfl2: ....the water in Florida has a sulfer taste to it...

oooooohhhhhhhh nooooooooo...and we definitely won't have an in-room coffee maker to use our own bottled water. Well, I'd heard the problem was that it was Nescafe most places, but that the espresso kiosk in Epcot wasn't bad, and of course places like Kona Cafe, but we won't be going there. I can probably survive a week on cans of Diet Dr. Pepper, but DH...

ok...shh :ssst: ...here's the plan :rolleyes1 ...if anyone sees us coming, and it's before 10:00 am, and DH does not have a HUGE smile on his face :teeth: ... RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! :scared1: It will mean he's had no coffee, and will be 99% ogre!!!

JK, he's not that bad. Well, not quite.

Hey, plan B...he just told me he is going to bring an emergency supply of chocolate covered espresso beans to nibble on *whew* the day is saved... :rotfl2:

Michelle...shopping and the Children's Museum what a great day...is the museum the hands on kind..I love those. :)
