Tasmen I'm loving this explanation........ you think the attendance office will buy it.

In my experience, those not directly effected by DF tend to believe it does not exist. It's a quite unfortunate.

Dinner for us is Grilling! YUM!

We're haveing Brats and Chicken with Grilled Veggies and a homemade salsa to go over the chicken.

Dessert is homemade yogurt parfaits

Drink is fresh squeezed lime-onade! :)

Very summery ::yes::

We may eat outside if the rain stays away :woohoo:

Question Of The Day:

Do you make it to the parks at opening?

I came very close this last trip to making it to MK at opening, but ended up stuck on the monorail between GF and MK during opening, I think I got there 10 minutes after.

That still counts! You planned to be there for opening. It was the silly monorail's fault you were not!

i have such a mess on my dining room table that i have been postponing cleaning up....but DH is giving me THE EYE :magnify:

We are park opening freaks! I love to be there at opening. I wake up before Mickey and Stitch call us in the morning. I can hardly wait. I love the opening ceremony. I love to be upfront. I love to be the first on a ride. We have "opened" Peter Pan and Rock N Roller Coaster. It is so cool! We have also opened Goofy's Barnstormer.

Just love the opening.

Supper, anyone???

Spaghetti here, with strawberry romaine salad.

Then we're off to see another house new on the market. It's huge...3100 square feet PLUS a full finished basement.

J.

We are having grilled steaks and veggies. We are going to our local ice cream place for cones after dinner.
:goodvibes

Mmmmm, I haven't been to Coldstone in forever! My fave there is Sweet Cream ice cream with blueberrys, piecrust and pecans - its an Elly origional! :thumbsup2

Disney fever certainly can be quiet dangerous if it isn't treated in a timely manner. The only treatment I know to be completely effective is full body immersion in a cloud of pixie dust. Globules of the dust will be absorbed into the body via the lungs and affix to an individuals white blood cells thereby helping to fend off the 'fever'. Unfortunately, as soon as an individual leaves the comfort of the pixie dust laden cloud DF symptoms may begin to flare up once again.

WHEW!! Thank goodness there is cure for this. I will follow the direction to the "T" and the kids should be well enough to go back to school in about 6-9 days.

Dinner already? I just finished lunch!

Went to Le Petit Cafe' near my office. It is a little French bistro that has great food at reasonable prices. Had the Turkey Sandwich on Wheat with French Fries and a Coke. Last time I went here I had their French onion soup and it was out of this world. It was too warm today for soup.

My wife called me and asked me what's for dinner...that is code for "where are you taking me out to eat". Has to be close by because we both have things to do tonight.

That sounds just wonderful. I love a good french onion soup. I had to settle for so so chicken gumbo today.

As for dinner, I think I'm going to have steak fajitas a la lazy style (involves a microwave and less than 5 minutes of prep time).
