Shelly - Never had Cookes of Dublin, I ate at Raglan Road at DTD and it was really really good! That's about as good as my wisdom gets!

Shelly, we love Raglan Road -- ate dinner there on my b-day (it's in the trip report). I'd probably like Cooke's because I like fish & chips, but Brrt doesn't eat fish so we haven't tried it. What other kinds of things do they serve?

I guess Cooke's of Dublin is right next to or attached to Raglan Road, because it's not even on the DTD map. We post a menu of the day on the Snowbirds thread everyday and I just thought it looked interesting. I don't eat fish, never have since it made me sick when I was pregnant 10 years ago! But DH likes it and the kids and I could get chicken. Here's the menu ~

Morning All...

Had a great weekend. Saturday just relaxed and Sunday I went to a car show. My DH is into all of that stuff. It was halloweened themed so it was fun.

Ugh, what a sad day.

This weekend Anne Pressly, a news anchor here in Little Rock died this weekend after being brutally attacked in her home last week. I didn't know her personally but watched her in the mornings. She was a beautiful young woman with a bright future ahead of her. She recently had a small part in the movie W.

Last night two students were shot and killed at University of Central Arkansas.

Somedays, you just wonder what the world is coming to.

I have been a little sad the last few days since Anne was attacked. I wasn't going to post about it since I didn't want to be a downer, but now that she has passed away and then this shooting...



On a brighter note, I am working on my dd's birthday party invitations. She is having a pottery painting party. It should be a lot of fun.

We had a blast at Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party Friday night!!! We met up with my wife's friend and son who came down for the weekend from Sacramento.

They had candy stations all over the park and we got bags full of candy! They also had a short parade with Mickey, Minnie and a few of the characters. Got video of that and will post it up later Here are a few pics.

NC - I hadn't heard about what happened to Anne until I read your post. I just went to yahoo and looked it up.

That is so sad - she was beautiful, and it's a shame how young she was. She's as old as I am. I don't understand what drives people to do what they do... Do they know who it was? Someone close to her, or a fan or something?...

They have no idea who did it. My understanding is that Anne never regained consciousness (sp). So sad. I do hope they catch the *#%! who did this. How terrible. There is just sort of a sadness in the air around here.

I think they have caught two of the people from the UCA shooting.

So, we (mostly Bob) have decided that we (again - Bob) want to keep the DxDP for this trip. He wants to try the signature restaurants so - Deluxe here we come....

Here's a rough idea of the places that we want to eat at. I don't think it will be so much food this time because we plan on eating alot of 2 TS meal credits, so we will only be eating 2x a day and only about half of our lunches will be TS meals - the rest will be CS.

Well, good news. The police have the 4 men from the shooting at UCA. It will be interesting to hear the motive.

At my gym people were talking about ways to protect themselves.

I got my dd's invitations mailed yesterday! Yeah! Hopefully spirits will improve here.
