morning everyone!

i miss wdw :( ... i think that we should all talk about our favorite parts of our trip... and people who haven't gone yet, tell me what you are most excited for... just so i don't go into too much withdrawal - because it is looking like i may have to wait a while for another trip :worried:

MY FAVORITE THINGS:
SPLASH MOUNTAIN (AS ALWAYS)
MICKEYS DREAMS DO COME TRUE SHOW
THE MUSIC IN THE MK JUST MAKES ME SMILE
WALKING ACROSS OUR BRIDGE NEAR OUR ROOM (IT ALWAYS MEANT THAT WE WERE LEAVING TO GO SOMEWHERE FUN - OR GOING HOME TO REST - EITHER WAY IT WAS GREAT!)
ALL DAY AT AK - (I USED TO HATE THIS PARK - BUT IT WAS ONE OF OUR BEST DAYS!)
EE!!!!!!
FANTASMIC
PHILLHARMAGIC

Oh wow my Fav: (seeing as how i didn't go on the rides)
I LOVED the Nemo show in AK... also the fireworks in Epcot and MK...

What is your favorite memory?

Mine was actually my last day there. My DD was asking to go see the castle again in MK and when we finally went she was so excited. I saw her face light up. Great memory....

Hmmm... favorite memory...

probably in line for the ME to get to the resort - it's corny - but we were sooooo excited just to be there - and then we had the conversation where DH said that he loves it already and we can come back next year ...aawww...:lovestruc i love him!

top 3 favorite restaurants? (it's too hard to pick just 1!!!)

mine was the california grill - then o'hana - then le cellier :dance3:

I'll play!

On our last night, the kids and I rode EE like 10 times single rider. It was an adventure everytime. After we would ride, we would get back in line and compare who we rode with. It was funny everytime for some reason. Like I rode with a HS principal from Alabama who had never ridden it and was terrified, ds rode with a kid near his age who was there on a school trip, and dd said, "Uh, I rode with some guy who spoke a foreign language so I don't know anything about him."

I have lots of favorite memories because I just treasure the time at Walt Disney world with my family!

3 Favorite Restaurants
Le Cellier
Hoop Dee Doo Revue
Pecos Bills  (This is a joke around our house.) But we do love that place! :confused3 :)

hey NC!!! i looooovee EE!!! we should have done the single rider line but we didn't want to b/c it was DH first trip to wdw - so we wanted to experience everything together :lovestruc - - - what a crock!!! :rotfl2: next time we will definately do single rider and get on ee a million times!!!

i looooove le cellier!!!
we ate at pecos bills this time for lunch one day - i liked it too. i liked the sauteed onions for the burgers mmm mmmm yumm ::yes::
didn't do HDDR... maybe next time - or when we go back with little guys!!! ;)

Good morning!

My favorite memory of WDW? There are a couple - seeing the welcome sign as we came into the resort, riding Expedition Everest and the Tomorrowland Transportation Authority (I miss DL's PeopleMover!)

Seacrest

I love TTA!

Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow
Your party from Saturn has arrived
Please give them a ring!

oh guys.... WDW is such a great place..... my most favorite memory EVER was when my dad was still alive and he would get right in front of the castle and yell with his arms up in the air... liek saying yeah we are here. I have a pic of that and i treasure that pic so much. then the one with my DD that i said before....

RF - oh your DH is so cute....

NC - 10 times wow i didn't even ride SM....

I think my favorite moment on our recent trip was one night right before we went to bed. DW & I were tiding up the room a bit, and DS11, who is too cool to be complimentary, said, "Mom, Dad, thank you SOOO much for bringing us to Disney World! This is the best vacation EVER!"

That only was worth every single penny spent.

Good morning all! :goodvibes

Busy week here. RF- thought about you yesterday when I was on DS9's field trip. We went past a building that said Shaler Water. I was thinking you said that you live in Shaler, or maybe used to live there, or maybe wanted to live there! :confused3  Anyway, I thought of you!

Off to DS6's school picnic in a few minutes. Not a very nice day for a picnic, it's been thunderstorming all morning. Guess it will be moved inside.

Let's see. . . .

Favorite things at WDW: RNRC, Philharmagic, EE, all of DHS, Wishes!
Favorite restaurants: Crystal Palace, LeCellier, Mama Melrose, Chef Mickey's
Favorite memory: that's a hard one. . . . It was a dream come true for DS9 to do the Jedi thing, so that is an awesome memory. . . And I loved laying in the hammocks on the beach at CSR with DS6, he's my cuddler! (DS9 can't sit still for 3 minutes! ). . . And our anniversary experience at CP was pretty memorable!

Have a great day everyone! :wizard:

hey everyone...

looks like life is getting in the way of the MAYer thread.

Hope everyone is doing good.

We are mourning the loss of the Pens this morning. It's so sad.:worried:
I didn't even know I like hockey.... haha. You learn something new everyday.

As far as the possible move----:moped:
decisions are still being made. DH was supposed to have a talk with the hiring mgr on Monday, but tons of issues in the company came up and they had to reschedule for this coming Monday. So we are in a holding pattern.
I just want to know so that I can either enjoy the heck out of my summer or put the house on the market immediately.

We are still planning on going on our yearly summer vacation to Charleston for the fourth and we are indeed going to Jackson Hole in August---Then the trip to WDW in October. I'm stressed and just want to know something.

Anyway- I've been busy with everything but wanted to check in with all of you.

Have a great day-
Jo

PS-
My favorite moments are always when we stop to take a break and just sit in the parks, soaking up the atmosphere...

~in the rockers in Liberty Square
~Next to Morocco in Epcot
~On a park bench in AK near Nemo
~On the hidden back trail in MK
~On the trail in AK that's hidden away by the Tree of Life
~On the street off of Main St in MK
~At the Patisserie in France in Epcot
~next to the waterfall in Canada
~under the palm trees, next to the ABC commissary in DHS

But my favorite memory of all was when Mickey chose Belle to open up Toontown with him. Hoping for a repeat in October. Right place, right time.

Jo

hey everyone!

jo and shelly!!! i was wondering where the two of you were!!!

yes - shelly - i did grow up in shaler and go to shaler school dist. AND want to move back and buy a house in shaler! :lmao: but, unless the taxes drop drastically - it is NOT going to happen (at least not for a while) ;)

jo - i am so sorry about the moving hold up! it has to be stressful enough to uproot in the first place, and i am sorry that you have to go through all this ontop of it... :snooty: we're here for ya :goodvibes

FYI - for October - Toontown now opens at 9:45 rather than 10:00. Here's hoping for another magical memory.

Keep us posted on the move.

High today should be 92, but we have had a nice breeze this week, with highs in the 90's. Monday was just plain ole hot!!!

We have the dentist and orthodontist today. Very busy, the kids had their well checks on Tuesday and then we are done with medical for most of the summer!

Yay!

Oops forgot, optomitrist the week after summer camp later this month. :headache: We could have done that this week also but I want Chloe to be home to try contacts, so I decided to wait until after camp.

Good grief! It is hard getting to all these appointments!

Pretty boring at work here in da 'burgh.... now i don't know what to do with myself now that hockey season is over.... :worried: my boys played really well in the second half of the game - the wings were just the better team and they definately deserved to win the series... i was pretty proud of our fans down at the arena though, not only did they cheer "lets go pens" at the end of the game to show them that we're still proud of them no matter what -but they were classy and cheered when detriot raised the cup on our home ice which i know had to be hard to do.... so either way it was a good run and maybe we'll get em next year :thumbsup2

NC- i didn't know that your dd's name was chloe! that is one of my all time favorite names! Chloe Noel and Addison Paige (for when i have babies :goodvibes )

but i'm sure i'll change my mind a million times :rotfl:

Well, I'm back.

After I posted, Dh called and said to come downtown and go to lunch with him, so I did and we went to Jerome Bettis' place----http://www.jeromebettisgrille36.com/

it was good. Had a wonderful waitress- she was so funny.

Then I went shopping and now I'm home.

Thanks for the kind words RF-
if we have to move, it will be the third time in 18 months. We're used to it- Dh averages a new position every 2.2 years. Corporate ladder and all. LOL- you'd think we were running from the law, hahahaha.
Anyway- I see you keep talking about babies and such.......... anything you want to share with your MAYer buds??????;) :rolleyes1

NC- hum............ sounds like a hot summer there in good ole' AR!!! ::yes::
Thanks for the heads up on the time for opening of Toontown. Last time we got there at 9:15- I wanted them to ride Barnstormer with Goofy- but Mickey and Belle fell in love with each other, and the rest is history... :lovestruc

Have a great night all!
Jo
