I didn't keep the receipt, but Wal-Mart ususally has price endings like $1.97. So sometimes, it may just save a few cents. This was at our superstore which is like a regular Wal-mart and a grocery store combined. I love it!


I just ate the burger there which was fine. They did not have a fixings bar like pecos bill. I really like their fixings bar. (Buffet, I know.) But I love that I can eat as many pickles as I want at Pecos Bills.




Either 9 or 10 days! We leave the 18th!

I love Pecos. We ate there 2x's in December. I love the pickles and the mushrooms. We had the turkey wrap and shared it. It was so big. YUMMY

hey guys...

i am having a crappy morning so far. we went for our 2nd set of engagement pics last night, and the more i deal with our photographer - i really just don't like him

he's very unprofessional - he met us down at heinz field because there was "free parking" and we basically found him at a tailgate party for the pirates opening day...

he made bob carry his bag for him, he took the exact same poses as the last time, he gave us NO direction at all, WE had to say where we went, he didn't at all try to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, he didn't pose us or tell us what poses would look nice, he didn't even GET the city skyline which is WHY we went downtown for pictures, he made a racial slur that i happened to catch, and he called my by the name "stef" twice!!! I honestly feel that the pictures that I DID end up liking from the first round looked like they could have been taken with a disposable camera at a frat party.

it is 25 days until my wedding, we are paying this guy almost $2000.00 and I HATE him... I got in the car afterward and balled my eyes out. I called several photographers in the area and they want $2500.00 +++ for pics to be taken and then you have to buy the prints for additional $$$ later and I am already under contract with the racist a******. And now I think I have to live with it.

On the plus side, the nice photographer that I called last night said that we may be able to set something else up after the wedding to put my dress back on and go down to the city and take pics of me and bob at least (without the wedding party) ... lets hope that the guy i have can manage to take some standard formal shots at the church

Hey RF - sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time with the photographer.

Here is a suggestion:

Write him a short, but courteous email explaining to him that you are not confident that he is able to meet your expectations in quality and service. Send him links to other photographer's web sites and tell him that you expecting this kind of quality. Also, let him know that you are upset his racial comment...something to the effect of "I was deeply offended when I heard you say...". Finally, remind him that your wedding is a few weeks away and that last night's photo session with him left you with very little confidence that he would perform his services and act in a professional manner and that you would like a response from him today on how he can resolve all of this.

This doesn't have to be long email, maybe 8-10 sentences. The shorter the better. Be direct and to the point and try to leave emotion out of it. The more business like the note is, the better.

I wouldn't be surprised if he tore up the contract after reading your note because most people don't confront. I hope this helps you.

I hope we like Electric Umbrella better than we liked Pecos Bills. I know, I know, everyone LOVES Pecos Bills. I think we just had a bad experience there. We went there for lunch on our very first trip in 2005. It was so stinking hot in there you couldn't hardly stand it! And it was very VERY crowded. Here we were with heavy trays of food & drinks searching for a table, everytime we found one it wasn't cleaned off yet from the last person. We finally gave up and cleared one ourselves just so we could sit down. And then there were only 3 chairs at it. So I just can't get DH to try it again yet.

I figure we will get an early lunch at Electric Umbrella on our Epcot day because we an ADR at LeCellier for dinner that night!

We went their in December too just for the kids and they like the chicken. I didnt like any of their offerings. I dont eat red meat so their isnt much for me. I love the Mexico counterservice and I want to try Morrocco this time.

We usually eat lunch between 11:15-11:30 or so- and miss allllll that lunchtime traffic. Hummmmmmmmmmmmm...I wonder where we learned that from??????????

I heard about it. How crazy is that? I will be bringing my double stroller again this trip.

Actually, I am like Huggie, the size of my bun has decreased.

Who ever heard of a $2.00 bun? Good grief!

WOO HOO on our buns decreasing. The buns are yucky now. But you can go no carb and use the lettuce as a bun. YUMMY

Poor Mari. I hope she feels better soon. Hurry back Mari! We want you to come back soon! We miss you!


In other news...

I PM'ed DMM this morning b/c I ws starting to get worried about her.

She wrote back and said that Roman's surgery wasn't as successful as they were hoping it would be. She is taking a break from everything, it seems, and wanted me to tell you all that she misses the MAYers and she will be in soon to catch up.

Two days of sunshine sure was nice!! But I'm afraid it's rain the next several days.

Last night would have been a good night for soccer. It will be a muddy mess by the time we have practice on Thursday.

The kids did awesome Sunday! Both of their teams lost, but they did great. DS6's team doesn't have much of a chance, they are all new to soccer except him. So he is the only one that scores. DS9's team is really good, but it's very competitive at that stage and they lost by a few goals.

Soccer last night was pleasant- we took Beau and he walked around proudly.

Not much else going on today.

I am working on an Autograph album for our trip for Belle. I am not a Scrapbooker, and now I know why! That junk is expensive!

So far I have the cover, Mickey's page and Donald Duck's page done. I really have no clue what i am doing- I've never done anything like that before. but I am putting a plac eon each page for an autograph and a place for a picture of her wwith the character.

Anyone want to give me any hints?????

I was home in bed all day.... well not my bed my mom's... she was off and told me to come so she could take care of my DD while i rested and she made me some tea to drink... i feel ALOT better today... still stuffy, headache, and cough but no fever anymore and feel better.... busy day yesterday...
