Hey Mayers!!

Just a quick pop in to say hi and see how everyone's doing before I start another week of work :)

It's definitely been busy the past couple weeks...Hopefully things will start to taper off. Other than work, I've been trying to get in as much "play" time as possible the past couple weeks to maintain some semblance of sanity. Last week we went to Hollywood Studios for a day and caught a bunch of the shows. On Tuesday, I went to Epcot w/ one of my roomies and rode M:S Green Team for the first time! It was great!!! Everyone should try Green at least once. Yesterday we went to Sea World, which was also very fun and not too crowded.

I'm finally getting around to uploading some pics, so here are some albums for you to check out if you want...

Photopass Pics
Shuttle Launch
Miscellaneous Pics
Sea World

I've still got around 300 more pics to upload. So more to come :)

Hope everyone's doing well! Sulley

Walt Disney World - Documentary Modern Marvels - Walt Disney World
Journey underground and backstage at the technological marvel that is Walt Disney World. Enter a make-believe world spanning some 27,000 acres, brought to life by cutting-edge technology. What was once Florida swampland now boasts the world's largest theme park. The ride technology ranges from space-age centrifuges to enhanced motion vehicles powered by 3,000 PSI of hydraulic pressure. And hundreds of audio animatronics brought to life through the power of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Walt Disney World is made up of four separate theme parks, each with its own innovations: the 107-acre Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. The four parks are all part of a megaplex of a resort. Twice the size of Manhattan, it was the final vision and crowning achievement of a man who spent more than 40 years pushing the limits of technology to create entertainment magic: Walt Disney.

I know what you mean.... i tried to wow him last year to make it an annual thing but it didn't work..... he loves Dis but not to go every year he says... every other year is good he doesn't want to get tired of Dis...

i got the EXACT same speech from bob... but, i do keep talking him into these ridiculous (at least in his eyes) things... like the crocs... he's having a love affair with them!:lovestruc he says at leats once an hour how much he loves them. haha and the bagallini... he was hesitatant, but then he started peeking over my shoulder saying "oh, well that colors not too bad..." he's an idiot, but i'll keep him...

so i'm not giving up hope yet... :wizard:

Honestly- if I could go back here, i would. So much luxury. It's the one in Cabo.

You have your own personal butler. If you want anything- they get it for you immediately. I don't know if they are spying or what, LOL. We would be on the beach laying out and I would say to Mark, I believe I need a drink and Whoop- The butler would be by my side before i had finished my sentence.
They come to you while you are laying out and spray "oxygen water" all around you- to mist you and cool you off. you don't carry your towels to the beach- they take them for you and they are ready as you get there. your drink is already there before you get there, b/c on the way down from your room they have called ahead and placed the order. They have a lady in the bathrooms (public, but guests only) that her sole job is to go into the stall when you are finished and FOLD THE TP INTO A POINT. Then she walks to the sink, hands you a towel, and then opens the door for you.

We left the resort one day to go into Los Cabos for some shopping. We took a cab- it was me and two of my girlfriends- when we got back, we pulled up to the gate, the guard looked in at me, and said "Welcome Back, Senora ________" and said my last name. I turned around to my friend Jen and said "OMG, he knew who I was." Bizarre, but deliciously lavish. You actually FEEL important there.

It's unbelievable.

Kelly Preston, John Travolta's wife, rented this whole resort out for his 50th B-day party. We stayed in the casita that Robin Williams had stayed in. As we were arriving to the resort, Matthew Mcconneghy was leaving, Charlize Theron had been there the day before, and on our last day, Jason Priestly arrived with his new bride for their honeymoon. He sat at the pool and read over scripts while we were all :scared1:.

DH's company rented the entire resort out- that's how we got to go. I never would have know about it otherwise.
A few pics: these were already on my Photobucket account. I will go drag some more out for you.
