What is Disney Quest?

Shelly- I changed my adr's yet again. LOL I have to send you the new ones.


So I am having another playdate today but a nice and casual one. The mom dropped her off so it is nice. The kids have a new person to play with.

I hope no more screaming.

It's like an indoor amusement park type thing at DTD I think. I've seen the building, but never been inside. It's the "More" that's included in the free "Park Hoppers, Water Parks, & More" tickets!!

I figured you probably had changed some ADR's since you added an extra day!

Hope your playdate is quiet!!! Mine never are!

Please i don't need anymore credit cards... my DH would kill me..... plus maybe at the end of summer we are going to get my new car so the less my credit is pulled the better....

I don't remember if you pay... i think it's all included...

I can't leve meghan at the Kids Club. So that is out for another year. But I think I will definately try it next year.

Well, I will be able to give you all the Kids Club report I guess! Unless I chicken out!!

I just really wish I personally knew someone that had used them. I mean, I got a lot of positive responses to my thread, but they are all strangers!

I remember i had so much fun on an attraction there... it's like bumper cars but you shoot at each other...it was great... so much fun... then you create your own roller coaster and ride it.... well u are in this big box thingy... but really fun...

Okay, yes I called! Got a very nice CM. Very slow, but very nice.

She applied the Visa ticket upgrades with no problems! I didn't get any money back because I only purchased the base tickets, but now we are free to park hop/go to water parks if we choose and the price is the same!

I made an ADR for the kids at the Sandcastle Club. They are very excited! DH & I are still a little nervous about the whole thing, but I think we are going to go through with it. I asked her if I should change my dinner ADR from 4 to 2 people and she said - no, just tell them when you check in at the podium.

As for CSR - Well, at first she said - yes they are having a rehab, let me check the dates for you. . . then says she can't find anything, puts me on hold for about 6-7 minutes, then said - no there's no rehab at CSR during your stay, the rehab is at CBR. . .

So, I'm still not sure I got the correct information on the CSR pool.

That is awesome about the add on. I am excited to try Typhoon Lagoon.

I know, I didn't need another credit card when I got mine a few years ago either. But I just threw all the others out and only use my Disney Card now. We charge nearly everything and pay it at the end of the month (usually ) and then we are earning Disney Reward Dollars that we use for our spending money at WDW. I think you can use them at TDS too, but we always save them for vacation!

WOW huggie...Dis Quest is a huge arcade... it has i think like 2 rides in it. It's in DTD. Very nice.... i loved it when i went last year....

I will have to check it out and see if we get that with the ticket upgrade.

You can Blizzard beach in like 3 hours... not too much there... but it's great... i went last year in the AM got there like 9am and was out by 12... and the only reason we were there that long is because we had lunch there... but very nice park... little... it has a lazy river that goes areound the WHOLE park... that was the best... and they have DIS photographers to take pics of you... i'm going there or TL this year...

the boys will LOVE it..... they have so much fun and feel refreshed since they are always wet.... even wehn you walk around the park.. they have little sprinklers that wet you while you walk down the paths.... great park...

That would be Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blaster! Very fun! There is a height requirement for it though.


Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride - You put on Virtual goggles and "ride" your magic carpet thru the game. I stink at this game but think it is very fun! You feel like you are in the game.

Ride the Comix! - A lot like Aladdin's but you have a "sword" and fight comic book bad guys.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold - This is my favorite DQ game. You and you family enter a room that is a pirate ship. The walls are like movie screens. You wear 3-D goggles on this as well. Someone steers the ship and rest of you shoot cannons at the bad pirates to try to take their gold. The screen is always changing. Sea monsters try to attack your boat, you have to kill them. This game is so fun!!! I could play this all day. You feel like you are really on a boat and as the boat moves the scenery changes on the movie screens around you. We try to play this a lot. I would go to DQ for this game alone.


Invasion! An Alien Encounter - This is a lot like Pirates. You board a space ship. The windows looking out are movie screens and you shoot the bad guys sort of thing. Very fun as well.

CyberSpace Mountain - Create and ride your one of a kind rollercoaster. Both of my kids love this. I refuse to ride my sons rollercoaster. Too many loops!


Animation Academy - same as the one at DHS but very fun. My dd loves it!! You learn to draw disney characters.

There is an arcade section where you can play games for prizes. This area does cost extra. We do not do it.

We go for the virtual games mostly because they are something we cannot do anywhere else.

The water parks sound so fun. We have never done them. I am not sure I could talk my dh into it. He is not a big fan of water parks.
