Hey, I'm back-
The Podiatrist, I believe, is an idiot.
She said " Well, it could be Lupus, could be Rheumatoid arthritis, could be Raynaud's could be as simple as a stress fracture. Let's get an x-ray."
Me- "They already did an xray, AND an MRI- it showed nothing, the results are on that CD I just handed you."
Her- "well, let's get another one, oh and I want you to buy these shoe inserts I sell- $30, and also thse Vitamins- $30 each bottle, there are two of them. That stuff you buy anywhere else isn't any good."
Me- "Let me see that bottle with the Magnesium in it"
Her- "Okay" I look and it has the Mg OXIDE, (New Crew!) NOT the Citrate (Thanks for the info)
Me- "I think I'll pass on both of those- do I need to make a follow up appt?"
Her- "Let's see how you are feeling next week"
Me- "Um, ma'am, since my swelling and joint pain have been going on now for more than seven months, I truly don't see it miraculously healing itself in a week, just b/c I came here to see you." (YES, I truly said that.)
Her- "It's been going on for seven months?"
Me- 'Yes- I've told you that several times now."
SOOOOOOOO, I am once again frustrated beyond belief. She did tell me to wear Crocs all the time, so I went and bought another pair-
then i went to GNC-
and NC- I know you said to get the bottle of liquid of MAgnesium- but i couldn't find that certain kind and i spoke with an awesome guy running the store and he said I could try tablets (different manufacturer) until I could get the liquid- have you ever tried the tabs before?
I can order it online, so I may do that. I will start the tablets tonight.
I also got fish oil capsules, but won't start those for a couple of weeks.
All in all, it was a waste of time, unless the xray shows a fracture, which, I am praying hard for.
