I got to the Disney Store last night :sad2: I bought the 2 polos I went there for because of course they DON'T have fitting rooms. BLAHH!! I got home and tried them on and they were SCCARRRRYY!!! They have puffy sleeves :earseek: I looked like I was going to take flight!!


Jo, I looked and the only wings they had were pink from the Fairies movie I believe they said Rosetta on them. They have TInkerbell Dresses, but no matching wings. Sorry!!

Okay, I just got off the phone and I am NOT happy! :mad: This time I got a man and he tells me that I don't have a pin at all. . . After going round and round with him about how the lady 2 days ago told me that I have a 30% discount for any trip this year, he tells me that there is not even a pin that exists that lasts for a year. Finally he gets his supervisor. I explain the whole situation to him and he just keeps repeating himself to me - "I can assure you that there is not a pin attached to your name". And I keep telling him that I hear what he is saying but I want to know how it is possible that I had one 2 days ago. He tells me I was misinformed. I tell him that is pretty poor service. I tell him that I can't remember the woman's name that I talked to but I know exactly what time it was (I remember because I was on the phone when DS6 was getting off the bus). I ask him if the calls are monitored. He tells me that I would need the CM's name to find that call and regardless it still wouldn't change anything because I have no pin! :mad: :sad2: Needless to say the rest of the call was not so pleasant.

I am so mad I could scream!!!!!!!! He was just so rude and ignorant, he ruined my whole day. I can't even think about it without getting a knot in my stomach.
 
Ughhh, that is just ridiculous and AWFUL! I would be VERY P.Oed too!

Just for future reference, I always write down the name of the CM I talk to, the date and time....It doesn't matter. I was really upset about something for a trip we took 2 yrs ago and I gave all that info and all they could tell me was:

We don't have anyone working here by that name!!! :earseek: The best part was that it was a simple name like DAN, so they probably had like 20 Dans there and just didn't want to confess to their mistake :sad2:
 
Yes, that is what is making me so mad. He wasn't sorry. He treated me like I was making it all up. He had no interest in finding that call. He wasn't going to do anything about it anyway. He never even said he was sorry. Now I know why I book everything online. They are always so rude on the phone. Not very Disney-like. The CM that made my ADR's back in November was like that too.

I stayed on the line afterwards and took the survey this time. Gave him all bad ratings!
 
I am so sorry that you had such a bad experience. I hope your day gets better..... Just think we'll be in Disney in 87 Days!!!!!!!!! Enjoying the MAGIC!!!!!!!!!

I think you have a very valid reason to be fuming.
I believe that Disney is really setting themselves up for failure with all of these "pins attached",
"oh no you don't have a pin attached."
" Here's a 20 % off but joe Blow who is next door to you is getting 40% off, and they are unable to use it."

It is very confusing and upsetting to the customers, who by the way keep returning year after year and are willing to pay top dollar.

Where's the benefit from being a loyal customer????

The workers are always uninformed. If by chance you get one that is informative and helpful, you are lucky.

When I get an obnoxious CM, I always hang up and dial right back. I am a paying customer who in the last 4 years has spent somewhere around $18-$20,000 on trips to Disney. I EXPECT to be treated with respect when I call. I don't always get it.:confused3

That being said, I think you should e-mail them on the Disney website. The higher ups take the e-mails and correspondence very seriously as it is their JOB to keep us, the customers, happy.

Once I had a CM in the parks go above and beyond expectations. When I got home, I emailed the website, told them about my experience with the CM's name and where she worked.
A lady from HR calld me a few days later and told me that she had been in touch with the worker's supervisor and the CM was going to be commended for what she did.

I guess what I'm saying is that it wouldn't fall on deaf ears with a higher up, but the CM's that are taking the phone calls that are making a bit over minimum wage don't give two flying figs if the family that is trying to get the best deal for their vacation is able to save a bit of money. all they want to do is get off the phone so they can sit their behinds in the cafeteria at lunch and eat their soggy chicken salad croissant.:eek:

WHEW!!!!!!!!! Okay, i think "The Queen" reared her ugly head there for a second, but I got her under control and I'm back to being my old sweet self again. I hate inconsistencies and this is a prime example of it.

I guess I'll call ours just to see. If nothing else, back to Disneyshopping. Which I guess isn't a BAD thing. I think they have free shipping right now for any amount over $70. I just have to find some other stuff to buy.;)

Yeah, I'm not sure how to get around that. . . You have to put your phone number in before you can even talk to anybody and then that's the first thing they ask you when they take your call. . . :confused3 I really really want to know if that 30% was applied or not!

NC - Is there another airport within 4-5 hours that you could drive to and stay at a cheap hotel the night before your flight to get a better rate???



Glad Mark made it home! DH had a rough trip home last night and then again going in this morning.

I can't believe they keep cancelling your school. Your poor kids are going to have to go to school most of the summer. :sad2:

I'm SO glad Big Brother is on now!! I am so tired of all the repeats because of the writers strike. Glad to have something new to watch! That's pretty interesting that they paired them up this time. . .

Memphis is 3 hours away. The price there is about the same as here. This is for 6 a.m. flights, which have a layover in Atlanta making them 5 to 6 hour flights. Memphis is just not a great place to stay.

FYI - when I made my ressie yesterday, I asked for "connecting" rooms. The CM assured me, yes, she was reserving "connecting" rooms. Well, when the email confirmation came in, guess what? No "connecting" rooms, but "adjoining" rooms, which are not the same thing. "Connecting" have the door between the two rooms, "Adjoining" are rooms that are side by side but do not have the connecting door. So, I called back last night, and had a lovely CM named Kirby who corrected it for me and verifies that connecting and adjoinging are certainly different and he sent me an email verification of the change.

While my first CM was respectful, she just didn't listen and pay attention to what I asked for.

It can be very frustrating at times. I know I was steamed to have to call back last night to correct this. I fully expected a hassle, but was glad not have one.

I predict AP rates for the date range of our trip will be released next week on Wed. If they follow the trends of years past. The general public discounts are usually either released the same day or a couple of weeks later. Hang in there!

I told him that I was going to make sure that somebody knew about how he had treated me. And he said - Okay. He didn't give a crap!

So I took your advice and send them an email. I doubt anything will come of it, but at least it makes me feel a little better. Okay, not much better. :mad:

I guess I just don't understand how the CM Monday could have seen something that is not there. . . :confused: Plus the that fact of how poorly I was treated today just really makes me angry!

I have to try to stop thinking about this. . . .

I really dread having to call back if there is an actual discount that comes out. :sad2:

I should have just waited until the last minute to book. But I was afraid that CSR would be all booked up because of CBR's pool rehab. And apparently CSR is booked from what Mari said. :eek:
 
Mari I wonder if there is a conference at CSR that week or if it is booked with Disney guest that we are going to have to share the buses with. . . :scared1:
