may 12, 2012 7 Night Western on the Fantasy

Anyone interested in a Cabin Crawl? I was perusing the other threads to see where a good meetup spot was and came across this post:

What's a cabin crawl? A chance to see as many categories of the ship as possible.

Details: 1st Sea Day (Day 2), tentatively planned 1-2pm, Atrium.

POA: Meet up in the Atrium. Go through in small groups starting at the cabin at the lowest deck. The cabin hosts go with the first group and stop at their cabin to host and stay until the last group comes to their cabin. Then the cabin hosts go through with the last group. Each group should wait about 3-5minutes before starting from the Atrium.

Could be fun way to see the virtual porthole cabins if there are any inside stateroom people, and of course Deck 10!

This sounds like a great idea! This is our first cruise so I'd love to be able to see other category rooms.

That's a great idea and we are staying in an inside room with the virtual porthole! :rotfl:

Good morning DIS'ers.

I love when you guys put up links to insightful or new webpages that I haven't found. In hopes that someone has found a Fantasy TR somewhere, here are some of my current favorites:

All the new disboards info posted last weekend on the Fantasy. Lots of pics of the ship:

Stateroom reviews (sadly, just Wonder, Magic, and Dream, but presumably the situation of rooms on the Dream is extremely similar to Fantasy)

New photo and video tours of Fantasy staterooms on **************

And I already put up my favorite, the seven-year old food photo's thread...

:surfweb: Anyone have better/fun/interesting links to add? :surfweb:

March 30, 2004 ...the day my oldest son was born!
Happy 8th Birthday to the first little love of my life, Conner Xavier!
:bday:party::bday:

The list is on page 29. As the thread was getting longer several were having trouble figuring out how many were participating in the FE, so I created and FE only list, the roll call list of everyone is still on 8 though ;) I will be splitting the group up and posting on Sunday Morning for the final counts so everyone knows
who they are with and how many gifts they need. Not sure on the meet-up though.
ilovetexas - I will put you down for both groups!
Disney922 - I am surprising my son at the airport too. Only we will have spent a few days at WDW already so he will "think" we
are heading back home....only to find out we are going on the mickey boat :)

Thanks to both you and Sasmb for organising - not an easy task I'm sure!
I will check in on Sunday for the final list - I'll just do one group
Not long now everyone !!! :)

Just as a friendly reminder, today is the last day to sign up for the FE! We currently have 31 cabins participating which will be split into two groups. Some cabins are participating in both groups. If you would like to participate in both groups, but have not stated so yet...please let me know. I will be posting the two lists tomorrow morning :)

Thanks!

If I am not going to mess you all up I want to do it. Just one group. My DD is 7.5 and my DS is 3.5. We don't have room assignement yet, what do we do about that, if it is not until port? Let's hope not!

Thank you.....

I guess I have to go to etsy and by an FE now. Is that what most people do.

Yay!!! Glad you decided to go for it :) It will be so fun for your little ones. I will post the room number of where to go to add your cabin if you don't get it until port. You can get an FE off of etsy, ebay, or make one if you would like!!

Are all FEs fancy deals? I was thinking of something simple, possibly even an outgrown toddler tee shirt (Disney of course) turned into a tote bag type thing with the handle as the hanger... Would that work?

Okay great....thank you soooo much. Let's hope I get room assignment soon!

I was thinking of making FE with a shoe organizer. The ones on etsy are around $40-$50. That seems awfully high, although they are very nice!!!
