SUCCESS!!!! We finally booked our excursions

As of now we're doing the Shipwreck and Reef Snorkeling in Grand Cayman, the Biomaya Canopy in Costa Maya, and the Tulum Ruins in Cozumel

SO EXCITED!!!

Did everyone see the ship come into port this morning in NYC?? We watched it on GMA and again on YouTube. The ship's horn has about 6 different songs that it plays now..."Be Our Guest", "Pirate's Life for Me", "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes", and of course the classic "When You Wish Upon a Star"!! SO VERY COOL!! Watching it come in past the Statue of Liberty was a sight to see. Needless to say, we are getting SOOOO excited now!!

I caught part of it. So cool about the horn!! I am very excited about this trip...we are only a couple months away I have been having so much fun with my FE gifts too. I think I finally have a plan for what I am doing. That will help me pass the time between now and when we sail

I saw pics of the Fantasy coming in. It's getting so close. I need to get started on the FE gifts. (It's harder now that we have the little one here) Time just seems to go by really fast.

It's NEVER to early to start preparing - my mom has been looking at videos of the ship sailing into the harbor all afternoon. Every five minutes the horn is sounding from various places in the house

Glad I am not the only one planning out the suitcase! Now that te ship is in NY and the maiden voyage not far out my excitement is growing. This will be my best mothers day yet for sure can't wait to disconnect from the world and spend some quality one on one time with my son.

I want one of my next big trips to be to visit London! I may pick your brain about where is a nice affordable place to stay that's near some must see attractions

I was suggested to me by PM that we have a Meetup. Since this is only my second cruise, and we don't have kids, I don't know what a good place, date, or time would be. If you all want to suggest and come to a consensus, then I will add it to the master list on page 8.

A meet up would be fun, but it is my first Disney cruise so I am of no help as to when and where.

We all meet up on the last cruise I was on. We meet after the sail away party at a lounge. We all also wore lime green ribbons to find each other. We had a ball meeting each other.

This will be our second cruise, but first DCL...
No cabin assignment yet, not sure when that will happen, but I hope it's soon!
In addition to researching our ports and the ship herself (although DH and I had a sneak preview at the christening last week) I will be reading thru this thread to hopefully get acquainted with all of you!

Welcome aboard! We don't have our cabin assignments yet, either. If you look at page 8 in this thread, there is a master list of all our group and who is participating in the FE. That might be a good place to start. I've been trying to keep a spreadsheet going so I can keep track of gifts to put together and if memory serves, there are a couple of teenage girls. No worries, I'm sure there will be plenty of teens for yours to hang out with. And their club looks as cool, if not cooler, than ours!
