May 12, 2011 dream cruise meet!!!

What are everyone's port arrival plans? With all the confusion on boarding numbers, we still are up in the air about when to get there.

We have breakfast ADRs at 'Ohana that morning. Then we'll get our rental car and drive to the port. I think I signed up to be there around noon.

We will be at WDW for 5 days before the cruise. We have a private transfer arranged. I think we have a 9:30 pick up time and we got 10:30 port check in times. Hopefully we will get a fairly low boarding pass....we are trying to get as much ship time as possible.

our online time is 11:30 --12:00 so we will aim for that ! We will be driving to the port from home so we will try to time it as close to that time as possible !!! We have NEVER had an assigned check-in time in all our past cruises so this will be interesting. From reading all the posts about port check-ins, I'm not convinced that assigned times is the best method :confused3

We have ohanas reservations too but I think we are going to cancel them since we have ohana reservations earlier in the trip also.

WOO HOO. We got the first set of our group's cruise documents yesterday. Hopefully the next 2 sets will come quickly. I was impressed with the documents...they were very nicely done. This is our first cruise on Disney and on our previous cruise we had to print out everything online, including the luggage tags, so the Disney documents are very nice. I love that they are in a nice compact booklet that you can easily carry. I'm sure we will be totally spoiled after cruising DCL!;) Our trip will officially begin 4 weeks from today when we head to WDW for our pre-cruise part of the trip. I can hardly wait...counting the days (and even the hours at this point). It's about time to start packing isn't it???

Yeah!!!! I hope ours come today. We got the documents for our land version this week. I'm 29 days out and I've already started packing, lol!!!!

I do believe today is the last day to sign up for the FE Exchange!!!! Get your names in if you want to participate!

My SIL got her docs on Thursday. I'm hoping to get ours soon. Everyday I dash to the mailbox with anticipation. We haven't cruised with DCL since 2004 and really like getting the packet in the mail rather than having to print everything out. It makes it feel so much more official!

No docs for us today. DH is frustrated that one of our sons got his already and we haven't. Since I read his from cover to cover I guess I don't really need to get ours except for the luggage tags.

We received our cruise book in the mail yesterday. I made a paper chain with my DD so that she can count down the days until we leave.

I think I'm more excited than she is at this point.

Oh, and the port arrival time I picked online was 11am, but we plan on getting there about 10am

Received our Docs yesterday :banana: It's sooo exciting to get those Docs in your Hands ! Starting to think about what to pack--we're doing a B2B Cruise so it will be 7 days for us ! It's so difficult to NOT overpack----want to look nice for Mickey princess:

Does everyone get docs even if you booked thru an agent? None for us yet :sad2:

We got our docs on Saturday. I thought they might be in the box so I let my DD (3) get the mail. She was so excited she did her "happy dance".

I'll be sending out the final FE exchange list tonight!!! This is going to be great! I can't wait. I have about 26 days left until we're in Flordia!

Looks like you will be arriving the same time we are. We are so excited to be spending so much time at the parks before going on the cruise. DD still knows nothing about the cruise and it gets harder daily to keep it a secret. :yay:

I know! DD doesn't know about the park days and its getting harder not to let the secret out. She's going to flip when she gets down there.

Oh no! Am I too late to join the FE? No problem if I am, but if I can be squeezed in I'll participate. It's just me (32) and my husband (30).

Amy :)
