Haven't been over here in a while. Erik, I saw that on the news, and didn't put it all together, but how incredibly tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone's families, and you at this difficult time.

Connie, hope Patrick is doing well! I need to send you some cute pictures I have of him with Captain Mickey. I'm enjoying seeing everyone's pictures.

Cynthia

Connie, Do let us know about Patrick. Good pic of him with Goofy!

Ok guys, to bring you along on the 11 night cruise with us, our next stop was Naples. We went on the Amalfi Coast drive going through Sorrento (which we would go back to in a minute), Positano and Amalfi. This was one of my absolute favorite days on the entire trip. It reminded me so much of California, but much more dramatic. It tells me why so many Europeans come to Southern California. Enjoy:

This is Mount Vesuvius:

Do you see Peter, Jenn, Shari and I up at the top waving at you. :lmao:

I am wondering if any of the B2B'er have the menue from Parrot Cay on 5/28 - and if it matches the regular Parrot Cay menue from the crossing. Our second server didn't save the menu for us so I am missing that one - if it is the same menu then I am not worried - I am just wondering if it is.

Thanks
Cayla
Do you have a way to post the menus from the crossing? I only saved one.

We have some of the menus from the 11 day. I'll check when I get home. It seems that some were duplicates.

Ken

Padalyn,
Sorry, we don't have the menus. Did you get the attachment I sent you? Are you ready for your trip?
Yep - and thanks - we are almost ready (NOT!!) I haven't even started packing yet (this is VERY unusual for me!!)

It is going to take some time - since I still have to put them all in some type of binder set up - I have all the parts and pieces now - just need an oversize hole punch (a single of course). Once I have them all done I will take photos of them and post the whole mess - with the Panama cruise ones.

Ken - I would appreciate your looking - I am pretty sure it is a duplicate, but would just like confirmation!

Thanks to all -

Cayla

It's Karen. I believe I have them at home in Salt Lake City. I am in San Diego today thru Friday. I got a menu everyday. Shhh, Don't tell Alex!

thanks - Ken had one that he was pretty sure was the one I am looking for information about. If the one he sent is the right one ( I think it is!) it should be the same for both cruises - the regular Mexican type menu. If when you get home you check yours out and you have two of the menu labeled "parrot cay" then I am correct :)

Thanks Karen!

Happy 4th of July! pixiedust: :sunny:

Kelly - your pictures from Rome bring back such great memories! We threw a coin in the Trevi fountain so I know I will go back some day.:cloud9:

Hi Everyone - Happy 4th of July!

Great weather out here in So. Cal. - got a 53 mile ride in this morning. Training for the Arthritis Ride is going well.

Have a great day!
Ken

It is great to be an American.:cheer2: :cheer2: We got grandson, Aiden, up at 6 a.m. and headed for Magic Kingdom. We want him to start learning about our great country. 1,000 people from 70+ countries became citizens today in front of the castle. It was very moving - they were all so excited. Of course Disney pulled out all the stops. It was gorgeous. There were red, white, and blue fireworks. Gloria Estavan (sp?) sang, The Star Spangled Banner. Senator Martinez spoke and Meg Crofton, Disney President was the hostess. It poured rain while the senator was giving his remarks but it cleared off for Lee Greenwood to sing, I'm Proud to be an American, then the air force jets streaked across the sky. It all gave me goosebumps. It was a good way to start the day - hope the little guy remembers some of it. We started on rides at 8:55 and did 12 rides by 11:30. We ate lunch and decided to head home. The crowds were huge by that time. I'm sure the Park was at capacity by 3 p.m.

Debbie and Kelly, thanks for sharing the pictures. We are all so lucky to get to do all the wonderful things we do - like cruise on the Disney Magic with such nice people. Great memories!!!!

Anna, thanks for sharing your fun day. We saw it all morning here on Goodmorning America. It was really fun to watch too. I was worried about everyone out there in the rain.

We had a nice day, cleaned the house and had friends over to look at vacation pics. Then fireworks.

Kelly - when will your family be here in December? Thought I'd get tea reservations in case you and Zoe have time. The Grand is decorated so pretty that time of year. I just made tea reservations for 3 different groups in December today and I thought of you and Zoe - that is if your better half doesn't mind. Let me know if this would work for you two - maybe we can get Aiden to show Zoe the Magic Kingdom while you are here. He thinks he is the best 4 1/2 year old guide. If this doesn't work we can try for May. I am having a terrible time getting my California reservations. I finally got a room at the Yosemite Lodge for April 20 thru 23rd. Now if I can just get Grand Californian reservations for 23rd thru the 26th. Aiden reads the Disneyland book every time he is over here. Last week I ordered the Disneyland DVD for him from Miceage - hope it gets here soon. Any other disboarders coming our way I'd love to see you. Debbie, I plan to see you in December and Chris and Rob in November.

Hi every one
A few weeks ago we visit the Meyer ship yard in Papenburg Northgermany
They are still at the planing stadium but we heard the rumor that the ships will get the first rollercoasters at sea.
Hier is the link to the webcam of the yard. It is realy amazing this big indoor dock .

Anna, I'm finalizing all my ressies today and will let you know the exact dates. We would love to do the tea and have Aiden as a guide. That would be much fun. Debbie, when are you going to WDW in Dec.?

Hi Kids, busy week here, lots o work and we are not done yet might cut into the weekend. Oh well the OT is nice, but I got stuff to do.

We had a great 4th, got some stuff moved to the pole barn, and hope to build work benches this weekend in the barn and kinda get lots of tools moved. Would like to get the wood working area up and together.

Also on the 4th we had the Atlanta Boys Choir , Ft Collins Symphony, and the Cheyenne Symphony in an outdoor concert. Very good and quite enjoyable, Weather is hot, dry and sunny, we need some rain.

Our TV died, and I have learned that the days of inexpensive TV’s went the way of the dinosaur. Ouch. I guess there goes the OT. LOL

Looking forward to our DL trip in Sept and then WDW in Oct/nov.

Have a great weekend.

Scott,

I had applied to be the tour director for the Atlanta Boys Choir for their Wyoming, Colorado and Utah trip. I think I almost had it, but someone else got it when they made their final decision. Glad you got to see them. Wish I had been there also.
