Oh, Anna, you are so lovely, inside and out! I have the biggest smile on my face right now. The first few days I came home, I kept looking for you as I rounded a corner, since on the boat, you always seemed to be there, sparkling cheerfully. I miss running into you. I'm glad you were there for many of my happy moments on the cruise, even the silly time with Oscar and Simone. (They would make beautiful babies!!!) I do hope to see you sometime and tea sounds lovely. I never did get to see the ribbon you bought, either! I hope you can make something nice with it.

Okay, I have to ask this silly question - were Oscar and Simone dating - I loved them both and they are so cute. By the way, if anybody still wants the paper from Spain with the ship on the cover - let me know - I still have 10 copies left and will mail it out to you.

OK I can barely look at all those pics Deb posted without choking up and waxing nostalgic......

So here's my question, Deb----if we want a few (or maybe an inappropriately large number! :cool1: :cool1: ) of your pictures sent to us digitally do you want me to make a list of their filenames? And email it to you? To what addy?

Of course you already know you were one of my heroes on this cruise...but you've right to the head of the pack now!!;)

Yes just let me know what the file names are and send it to my email epcotkilterfan at aol dot com ;):thumbsup2 There are ALOT more pictures than what posted :rolleyes1 I will take any requests large or small :rotfl: I will be happy to email the smaller requests and send out a CD with the larger requests.

That's true....she could write it off as a work expense actually..."Director of the National Red Cross....I really MUST be aboard the Magic next September so that I can provide front-line services in case of a hurricane. I will submit the information on my expenditures voucher." :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yeah I will get right on that :thumbsup2 :lmao:

Debbie

Hoagie, I think they were just very good friends enjoying shore leave together, but if they'd let me match-make... :cloud9: ;) :woohoo:

Anna and my husband just witnessed me getting over-excited about the idea. (I've never seen Scott run away faster than he did that night, and I think beautiful Anna pretended she didn't know me for a few moments there, too!)

Move over Ducky there is a new artiest in town, :lmao: :cool1: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Kids at our table :rotfl: :rotfl: I am never growing up.....
.....

KIDS? That means you think that there were more than just you.:lmao:
O.K. I guess I confess. Growing Older, but not Up!:rotfl2:

Ok!

I have uploaded the second week of pictures :surfweb: There are ALOT of fireworks pictures. So if you go through those quickly then you have most of the show LOL

Again, if there are any pictures people would like, please let me know. I will be doing the captions on both of the albums soon.

Here it is: Magic to the Med Photo Album Part 2

Debbie

If I have my dates right the B2Bs should be off the ship by now. I wonder if they got their fill in 25 days? I know 14 was not enough. So I figure give them two or three days to get home and recover and we should be seeing posts from Kathy and Kelly and Cayla, etc again.:cool1:

I heard from Kelly yesterday. They have had a great time and were really sad to be leaving the ship this morning after nearly a month(!) onboard. The med ports were long days, but awesome. I think they may need a vacation now to recover from this "vacation"! :rotfl2:

Well I found that I miss the ship so much so Karen NY and I will be onboard bringing the Magic back.

Hello everyone,

We had a wonderful time on the cruise and the first half was outstanding. It was wonderful how easy everyone was to talk to and visit with. The lanyards made a huge difference. I didnt spend as much time reaching out to meet people as I wanted to though. While crossing the Atlantic my father fell ill and he passed away before we got to Barcelona. Once we made it home we had to turn around and head to Indiana for his funeral. I have a wonderful and supporting family who understood the travel challenges we faced getting home.
While I was trying to deal with my fathers illness and although I didnt share it with anyone on the ship, I want to tell you all that your smiles and warm hellos made a big difference in my life.
Jeff and I are going to try to get on the west bound Panama Canal cruise next may. Sort of a "do over", I hope I get to meet up with you again soon. We will be at the Boardwalk the last week of October for the food and wine festival. Please let me know if anyone is planning on going and might like to get together.

How awful...Jason and I are very sorry for your loss :(

We, too, are anxious for the B2Bers to get back and start posting again! Hopefully some of them will have booked on the Double Dip, too!

Cynthia-wish we would have known so we could have been supportive. We are sending pixie dust your way. I hope you were able to share with DCL because I know they would have made every effort to get you home as fast as possible.

Robert and I are on the WB PC cruise next May as well as about 20 others that were on this cruise. Would love for you to join us again.

Cynthia - I'm so sorry for your loss.
I think you need a do-over for sure. And I think we did meet up in the elevator one day on the ship. The lanyards sure did make it easy for me to say hello to fellow DISers.

Cynthia, so sorry for your loss.

Well I am now having withdrawal from the boards, I find myself going to the PC with breakfast in hand in the morning only to realize that there is not that much to read anymore.

This being our first cruise, I could do it again in a heart beat. Not sure if the wife would do it, she found the 6 days at sea a little too much. Not sure what the next vacation will be, we are thinking about the trip next September but not sure yet.

Cheers!!

Pat

Hi everyone!
Sorry I have not posted since getting back.
Cynthia, I am so sorry for your loss. I was in a similiar boat (no pun intended) by getting a call from my sister on the Wednesday before debarking that my grandma (last grandparent) had passed away. She had been deteriorating pretty rapidly for awhile, and was wanting to die, so it was actually a blessing, if that makes any sense.
So I totally understand about getting home and seeing my kids for a few hours, going back the airport (ugh!) and getting on ANOTHER flight.
My family was also understanding about our travel situation too, and for a few hours, I had no idea if I would even be going to the funeral or not. I finally felt that I needed to go, and am very glad that I did.

It was so good to get to meet everyone!

Really? How funny how different all our experiences are. Jason and I were literally just talking about the fact that once Disney has a bigger fleet and can start doing more specialty cruises....we'd like to go on one for which the only port is Castaway (because I think they HAVE to have a port in order to do a cruise...but I might be wrong) and then just floats around at sea for 6 or 7 days. We would literally book a 10 day cruise that had no ports or just Castaway as a port because we enjoyed the days at sea so much!!

I would too. My favorite part of the cruise is the sea days!

I just got done looking at all of Debbie's pics. They are so great, brings back alot of memories and familiar faces.
