I was in the grocery store yesterday and just thought how nice it would be if she would walk aroung the corner so we could chat, just like we would run into each other all the time on the boat.

Well I am coming out of my stuphor of a cold... yes a cold, not a sinus infection as I was told by the Physician Assistant today Lots of liquids and put on a humidifier. Did he step outside today!!!!! It was like 90 degrees with 75% humidity! Don't think that will happen.

Went back to work yesterday and had a meeting all morning and a stress management seminar in the afternoon. I think it made me more stressed, reminding me of what all my stressors are LOL.

I hope to work on my pictures this weekend and get some uploaded. I will post the links whenever I get them all done.

I did lose all of my pictures from Gibraltar Not sure what happened. Going to see if they can be recovered off the card, but I shot on the card before I knew they were lost. I am bummed about losing the morning pictures as we came into the port. But I reallllyyyy want to know if anyone took a picture inside the terminal, right before you came back through security. It said somehting like "Thank you for visiting the Rock". If anyone happened to get that I would LOVE to get that one. If not, I will ask someone on the return trip to get it for me. (LONG story as to why LOL)

Hello everyone - you have brightened my day once again. I wanted to tell you that I had a horrible week and needed to see all your smiling faces. My neighbor had a heart attack so I have been running to the store and picking up pills. She is only 50 so it is a little scary. My poor guinea pig is not eating and probably on his last little life - I love him, I left 4 good shirts on the cruise and have a call into DCL - no word yet. My own dumb fault! I think I just need a good cry. I know you all know this, but they don't give medals for doing 10 loads of wash!!!!!!!!!! MISS YOU MUCH!

Hi Kids,

I think there is at least a Magical Memories Certificate for doing laundry on the Magic.

Getting back into normal life, if there is such a thing, is not much fun. Wish we were all with the folks still on the Back to Back. Wish I could sleep in till my normal 5:00 AM.

Had 59 hours of work in by Friday at 2:00 so I was outta there, nothing like returning and hitting the ground running, had a short road trip.

We have a Robins nest in the new barn, with an unknown number of little feathery dudes. No door on the barn yet so when it gets put in we will have to leave it open till the little guys leave the nest. Will start getting stuff together for in inside.

I gotta write my letter to DCL, maybe today, will see. Just thanking them for the great time and complements to various cast members.

I think I am also getting a cold. Bummer. Stuff to do.

I hope the rest of you all are getting back to your routines better than I, I still have a bunch of mail to catch up on.

Oh Sandi (is that you typing?). I want to give you a big hug right now (and then distract you from your troubles with a rousing game of pictionary ). I hope your neighbor recovers well and is able to resume normalacy soon. Hank has had a few scary hospitalizations and suregieries for his heart so we know how stressful it is (luckily the last operation ended well and he has been MUCH improvecd for the past two years, there is hope). We've sure been thinking of your family a bunch. I'll be better at satying in contact if I ever catch up on MY luandry Please tell Abby hello from Marika and Marika says to also give her a hug and tell her we hope your guinea pig satrts to feel better.

Scott--you are always so busy. Sometimes I wonder if you're really an android and thus can do all that you do on NO SLEEP The robins sound sweet.

Debbie--I hope hte cold ends soon and you can feel good again. At least you weren't sick on the trip (that I know of).

My neighbor seems to be better, but she is still in a lot of pain. Her husband is still gone for another week so we are checking on her a lot. It's the first Saturday of the month so we are taking the kids to Home Depot today to build something. Then we have to finish all the catch-up work (laundry still not all done, lawn needs mowed that the mower has gas, still have to pay the bills that weren't due ASAP when I got the mail). Someone form the Fresh Air Fund is comming over this evening to interview us to see if we can host a child in july. Rio is very excited about that (6 of 7 of our European summer exchanges have been girls, so we requested a boy for this as he feels rather left out). Marika is a bit aprehensive about the idea of having TWO little brothers for two weeks. I told her they'll probably keep each other busy and she'll end up with a quiet week.

Thanks Hadley - you made me smile - AGAIN! But I have to apologize to seaulater because I so enjoyed the scrapbooking class. All the hard work you did and the end result was fabulous - and thanks to your husband also. You told me all the things he did. I really appreciate your effort and I put pictures in it and gave it to my MIL. She absolutely loved it. Now we all have terrible colds except Abby. I think the problem is WAY TOO MUCH FUN!!! That is what happens - I guess you take the good with the bad. Hadley, I am so excited about your exchange student. Please e-mail me and tell me more. I wish we had more time on board to talk about "things" because I would love to learn about that. We must do another cruise!!!!

What a great trip it was, Thanks again for all the great memories. We should do it again. Hey there is the 5 day and 10th anniversary cruises next year, maybe see some of ya there, I hope.

Bought a baby tractor yesterday, didn’t think I would ever do such a thing, but hey we have a ranch here to tend to. Funny part is have to make a larger gate in our fence to get it into the back yard LOL.

Will shoot for a two mile plus run before breakfast. Make the Gate, caulk some windows on the barn, mow the lawn, attend a picnic (retirement party, sadly not mine).

Looks like it will be a nice day here as the sun is starting to creep up.

I've been playing around with my pictures from the trip and managed to trim them down from over 1,000 to about 700 - now if I can figure out how to make them into a slide show and put some kind of title in between the different ports - and I know some put music to their picture shows so I will be spending some time trying to figure out all of that - I'll let you know if I accomplish anything!

What a fun time it was seeing many of you and meeting many of you - this was a trip I will always remember! Like I keep telling my family who thinks I'm a little on the crazy side - "that's okay, I have friends a lot like me".

Linda, I showed DH the scrapbook last night. He was really amazed at how much work you did getting everything together. Thank you again for doing that!

We ended up with nearly 2000 pictures, but a large minority of those will be pitched. At various points I gave the digital camera to a DD to keep them entertained. We get a couple of interesting pictures that way ... and a whole lot of pretty random pictures too . Hopefully, I'll get them into some semblence of order next week.

Count us in with the terrible cold group! DD11 and DD3 are on antibiotics for ears and sinus infections. I've got it too. DD11 tried to go to school on Thursday, but only made it until 1pm. School nurse called and told me to pick her up and don't send her to school on Friday - bad mommy award for me! She has now missed a total of three weeks of school. She's drowning in HW - ugh!

DisneyDAnn - thank you again so much for teaching DD13 how to knit! She loves it! She has now taught her sister how to knit too. If you are ever out in CA please let us know!

Scott - Congrats on the tractor and the baby wrens! I'll look for you at the DL 1/2 marathon. I need to get a whole lot more serious about training

Finally got the last of the stuff unpacked and put away - so sad! I do have an onboard rebook, so we will cruise again, but I don't know when. Pulling the kids out of school was definitely worth it, but the catch up has been really brutal. Thanks again everyone for a fantastic trip!

I haven't been too good about posting here the past week....but doing so just reminds me that the trip is over...and I'm still in TOTAL denial!!

I am so thrilled to hear that so many of you are back safely and to be able to continue to hear about your lives (even if so many of us...that's right US...have colds...what a souvenir!!! ). I've started becoming active on the thread for the Double Dip but Jason and I can't help but compare everything there to this cruise, this thread, and all of you.....you've all ruined us for every other trip!! (well...not REALLY...but you've sure set the bar pretty high for all future trips!!)
