You meant to say "A MANLY THING" didn't you???
I did find a coconut shell accessory for my grass skirt. My DW thinks im a nut, but I will be wearing it anyways!
You meant to say "A MANLY THING" didn't you???
I have some questions:
1. Can anyone join the "Grass Skirt Fraternity"??? Is it just a man thing?
2. When you give little "fishy gifts" do you put your name on them or does it remain anonymous??
My FIL called the passport office yesterday and they said it will be finished and mailed in the next 48 hours by overnight. So we are looking at tomorrow I think.![]()
We should be the "Guinea Piggies". Now we get to inaugurate ship-wide Internet and Cell Service....
Just got off the phone and Then Magic is scheduled to go live with ship-wide wireless INTERNET and (stateroom only) Cellular service May 12Th for the Transatlantic Crossing
Cellular service will include
Cingular / ATT
T-Mobile
Sprint
(She did not mention Verizon and I forgot to ask)
The rates will be whatever your specific carrier'ssets for the Magic. Disney does not charge for this service. Their arraignment is directly with the Carriers.
My T-Mobile seems to be $4.96/min Yikes
It is important that you activate international roaming before you cruise as it may not be possible from on board for some carriers. i.e. the system won't even see your phone unless it is activated.

I phoned Cingualar(ATT&T) today and signed up for the international plan on one of our phones. It is $5.99 per billing cyle and then phone calls are 99 cents per minute. But this is different from internet service, Right? You'll have to explanin it all to me.![]()
I confirmed this with Cingular - this is correct. Text messaging will also work - 50 cents to send, and nothing to receive if you have a plan otherwise 15 cents to receive.
Just a sad note - my kitty Merlyn passed away today at 3pm. I was holding him in my arms and he died quietly with dignity.

I actually did a cost comparison study(did I mention OCD) and I got a much better exchange rate by ordering them through my bank. That being said, it take 3 days for you to get it. So in that area you might be out of luck. There are places that will do currency exchanges, but I didn't go to them because I had the time and the rate was worse. However, you may not have a choice now. Where are you at, and I will see if there is one in your area.

Just spent 20 minutes talking to DCL and hopefully the chocolate disaster is cleared up. They said - our tour on the 25th is good to go, that some of the later dates have been canceled but that some have not and we have not. I like this answer better than the earlier one that I got!

Cayla-- I am so very sorry about your kitty. I'm sure you will miss him very much. I am glad you were able to be there for him at the end.![]()
Cell Phones--Breathing a big sigh of relief that Verizon wasn't mentioned as a now usuable cell phone. If it were, I would have to tell David and he would probably feel he had to tell workWe wouldn't switch from Verizon as A. we really like it and B. It is the only carrier that has reception at our house (haven't had a land line in almost 5 years).
Kimberly--Good luck on FIL's passport. I would be a disaster.
Storm--Not worried from a safety standpoint. FLying could get interseting. It is still pretty far off shore I hope. If we miss C.C. I will crybut I will still enjoy the rest of the cruise.
