Anybody know if the only people that are having problems are those that are doing the B2B?

I'm begining to wonder if that has something to do with it.

I've been drafting a letter to Tom McAlpin DCL President and the emial reply and word that some are still able to make additional reservations is not going to help!!

That may be a possibilty....we are doing the B2B, but our reservations are not linked. I had them purposely do that so there wasn't a problem with our CAt. 12 upgrade...

Also, I have been on twice since this morning and booked more excursions and spa appointments. No problems...
 
I don't think it's a B2B problem. I know of one B2B person that got on at about 4:30am east coast time and made reservations without a problem.

well it could depend on if the reservations are linked. Mine are not, and I got through... What about the person you are referring to in your post; are their's linked or separate?
 

Yes theirs were normal reservations - they are in the same room for both cruises.
 
Just got off the phone again with DCL. They are still saying that no one is able to make reservations, just like the email. Once again I explained that that is not the case and that they are not doing themselves any favors with the incorrect information.

They think that because they're only hearing from people that are having a problem that nobody is getting in. They don't seem to realize that those not having a problem wouldn't be calling!!

They obviously still do not have a clue. :furious: :furious:

For Ken and others who are being told nothing can be booked, I would be happy to pm you our last name so you can have something concrete when talking to DCL on the phone if you think that will help more than a general statement that others did book successfully. I appreciate that systems don't always work, but to be told something that's incorrect plus basically not receive any meaningful assistance has to be really frustrating.

I hope this gets figured out quickly. pixiedust:

I know that the DCL office is closed now but if you want then I, and I am sure others can call in the morning and let them know that we were able to book and that the problem is not across the board as they are trying to get you to believe.
 
We are linked for our B2B and I had no trouble logging in or making any ressies...not sure if that makes anyone feel better or worse...
 
We're not lucky enough to be doing the B2B - and we're having problems. So we don't help with your theory, but am in the same boat as you, no pun intended. :worried: I completely share your frustration that they don't seem to get that others are not having problems. Drawing pictures over the phone is hard - especially when one party is not :listen: listening and processing :idea: what you're telling them.

At least we got them to admit that there was something in our reservation that was causing the problem, though they don't know what it is. We were told that they'd work on it for us, but not until they get the 'imaginary' down system fixed...they told us to keep trying - eventually it will work. :eek: I checked at about 2 hours ago - no change. :sad1:

If you guys (kpros/wrabitdad) are able to make any progress, please do let us know so we know that they are doing something.

Cupcake, as we've made a bit of progress, I don't know that we need full names yet. If we get to that point, I'll let you know - thanks for the offer.:hug:

Sorry, I didn't check in this afternoon (very busy researching Rome!) Yes, I'm B2B and did make it on. I'm cash on the repo, DVC points on the 11 night if that helps and please feel free to give them my name and number if you need to tomorrow on the phone.
 
my ta paid me in full (on a sunday!!!) so i could make ressies but as of 9am EST no ressies for tea were available....i was not really going to make a tea ressie but weird that there were none...

brunch -- thursday may 17 (but we wanted tues!)
dinner -- the last night!
cadiz -- seville tour (9 hours!!!)
castaway cay -- wild side for my teen, fishing for us (?)


has anyone done the fishing at cc before??? how was it? any reviews???

Tried to make ressies again twice this morning with no luck.

Just got off the phone with DCL, they continue to insist that no one has been able to make any ressies since early in the game and that no one is able to make any reservations now. :confused3 :confused3
 
Here's one for you - I am on the phone now with DCL about the problem that some of you are having. They are looking at my ressie and still saying that NO one has been able to book excursions! MINE ARE ALL BOOKED. I just talked to a supervisor who told me that they know it is not system wide and have not told anyone that it is. I don't think they have a clue. Maybe there is a head honcho that can help! Mickey, where are you?????
