Who was hoping for a chance to stay in the Castle Suite?

We missed the Parade....but we're still holding out hope for the Cinderella Castle Suite! hehehe We'll be staying on property for 9 days prior to the cruise so there's still a chance we'll get tapped in the park!!

We sadly have had to cancel this cruise. We are anxiously waiting to see what special cruises DCL has in store for us in 2008 though.

I will be updating the roster soon.... but I just got a new laptop!!! So once I get everything moved over I can get to work on that Merry Christmas to me!

The Andulsian horse excursion... I did not notice that it was only on the Westbound Hopefully that will be added to the Eastbound as that was the one I was looking at!

Hi all, Lots to get caught up on. It was frustrating that the server was down for so long. I guess I logged on minutes after it went down, wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. So going back a few days, we decided to switch our reservations from the repo to cash and the 11 night to DVC to get the discount. Thank you so very much everyone for your offers to help with the child shuffle. Now I have to get on the phone and actually make it happen! Christmas eve we went to the Storytellers Cafe at DL for a delicious dinner (every restaurant in the resort was booked solid for dinner) DH was dressed as a giant elf because we go to the children's home to help Santa hand out gifts to the kids every 24th. It always puts our life in perspective to see these kids who have been abused, abondoned or who have parents in jail. It is one of those very well supported places, so the kids have a far better experience in this home than they've ever had in their own homes. After that we were very lucky that DD3 got a private visit with the big man. She was shocked! Then went home to track Santa on Norad. It was a very exciting day in our house as it was DD3's first real recognition of the big event. She got a Cinderella dress and Dora's talking kitchen that she wanted to sleep next to. Today is our 10th annual Day After Christmas Party. We are having a pasta making party and board game exchange, so it should be fun. It all started when a few of us could never get together due to all the extended family events, so we made it the day after. It turned out to be so relaxing that we made it an annual event. 72 degrees today, but then it turns to winter tomorrow around here. Have a great holiday off everyone.

Forgot to mention that we loved the parade on Christmas Day. We figured out when they film it, so we'll go next year while some of you will be on a Thanksgiving week cruise!

Mrs. Mork, I'm sorry we're losing you. Which reminds me of the other thing I wanted to post before the server went down. I spoke to a highly recommended TA that afternoon. His thoughts were that the May 2008 cruises will be the extended southern Caribbean cruises again. Then west coast in 2009. Thoughts?

I talked to DCL again this morning and was told a different story about the horse show...This time I was told that the training excursion would be offered not the show as I had been told on Friday. Seems to me that the CM's know less than we do. Hopefully we will know definitely before we have to book excursions.

The CM at the rebooking desk on the Magic week before last said that the Magic will definately NOT be in the Caribbean summer of 2008, but who knows if her info was correct. She said the bookings should be released in March. I could go for extended southern Caribbean or west coast or Hawaii (not likely).

We watched the WDW parade. Noticed they had Samantha Brown announcing VAKL, and making her an honorary member.

Mickey Suite at DL looked kewl.

“Forever Young” for sure……Lynn got me some kewl POC stuff.

Went to Walmart and scored a whole bunch of decorations for the house for Christmas next year, icicle lights and stuff for the front yard.

Sorry you won't be withus Mrs Mork. 2008 will be interesting, I think DCL has seen the value of extended cruises for repeat business.Still I would enjoy Alaska.

Today is a POC day watching the movies, and thinking we may get to see POC somewhere in atlantic on our cruise,... KEWL!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure the DCL website is wrong. I too spoke with a DCL representative today about this. Her computer showed the eastbound repo getting the show and the westbound getting the training. This makes sense to me since I checked the website for the horses and it says they have shows on Thursdays and from May-August Tuesdays so since we will be in Cadiz on Tuesday 22 May we will see a show. The westbound repo will be in Cadiz on Wednesday 22 August so they will see a practice. I hope that I'm right.
