Bob, you musta have gotten ( great grammar huh, this should make it more better) the cold blow that came through here last weekend. Well my friend a couple of nice days are headed your way, do enjoy.

Yesterday was great here and today is supposed to be nice also. We got 5 apple trees. 2 cherry trees and two plum trees planted, kind of a stretch for Wyoming, we will see if they ever produce. Heck the wind will blow the fruit to Nebraska.

Found a geocache yesterday ( it was brand new and we were the first to find it, KEWL!!)and then got some materials and started to frame out the basement of the Malamute Ranch.

Actually packing is pretty much done just have to take the cruise stuff out of the storage tubs and into suit cases.

PRE CRUISE - Wine and Cheese Meet at Scott and Lynn’s Condo

WHERE: Scott and Lynn’s room at OKW. I will post the room number after our arrival.

WHO: It’s for any and all of us on the cruise, and those folks who have cruised with us before the mast in the past. ( KEWL huh!!!)

What is it about: Just a chance to meet before we board the Magic, put a face with the board name, etc.

We will provide cheese, dips, munchies etc. BYOB or soda or water or whatever you would like to drink, we will have our fine plastic drink ware and china available. I will also procure a box of fine wine.

Please RSVP, if you can, so we can have a good head count. If there are several folks we will get a bigger room.

Also do get your info to Debbie for the list and a photo is handy to help remember names, but I understand if ya don’t want a photo published.

Duckylu, you will enjoy the Cat 3, I called DCL the other day to see if any were avail, and nope they were not.

Off topic – any of you DVC folks been to Hilton Head????? Thinking about a fall trip there.

Hilton head is very quiet, on one side is a inlet and all ships are parked. parking is a premium at HH. More than one story not sure if 3, no elevators in the buildings.. guest house for registration does have a elevator. you are on a marsh... But the island has a lot to see and good restaurants.
It's not wdw.. it's quiet...restfull..and calming.

Dear Pirate Julie, I have never done a trans atlantic, but I expect it will be cool and windy on deck. We are bringing windbreakers and sweaters as well as shorts and t shirts! We're gonna be ready for anything! I think it will be warm in Spain.

I was going to do this but for some reason only the 7.45am one is now available (I assume the afternoon one is sold out) and that seems a silly time to have afternoon tea. I thought it was an OK price looking at the prices of the other Gibralter tours and the fact you get afternoon tea

My vote is for the mango soup.... actually it is pretty easy to make.

Gotta work on the basement, goofed off this morn with some geocacheing and a trip to Sams Club, to stock teh garage fridge with H2O.

Greetings everyone! I'm BAAAAAAAAACK! Yes I know I've been gone for a little bit.....it's been a tough week but I'm dragging myself back! I had pulled myself out of circulation to have some alone time.....but I haven't been totally out of commission though, I've been trying to skim the boards once a day or so so I don't get TOO lost. Lots has happened (of course!! ) in the 2 or 3 days since I last posted, so I can't possibly reply to all of it.....but off the top of my head, here are a few thoughts:

..... Thanks to everyone who posted warm wishes and thoughts and positive thinking for me this week. I really appreciate it and both Jason and I are really struck by the strong sense of community we've all been able to form even without having met any of you. It makes us feel even more strongly that this trip is goin to be awesome!!

..... Welcome to the new cruisers who have joined us in the past few days.....the ship may be only 50% full (which I, personally, find to be delightful news....because it means more Disney Magic (pun intended) for the rest of us!! )....but the DisBoards are FULL!!!!

.....Fish Extenders: I seem to have noticed more than a few people talking in the past few days about panicking about getting fish extenders, etc. I think posted this once before....but do an ebay search for "hanging pockets" and you'll find several people selling them. (You can even make the search more specific by trying variations like "disney hanging pockets" or "mickey hanging pockets" or "tigger..." or "pooh..."). Just this morning I did a quick search and as of 8:30 this morning there were 5 Mickey fish extenders, 4 Tigger, and 8 Pooh ones....if you win one in the next day or two or do a buy it now...I'm sure you could have it before you leave.

.....Scott, we'll have our computer at the AKL and so assuming the internet works properly you could also drop us a line or give us a call (I could PM you our last name if you don't already have it) and we'd post the wine and cheese location.

.......Littleowensmommy....wow...I can't even imagine that kind of injury...that's crazy! I been feeling icky because my back is still not 100% but that certainly puts it into perspective!

.....Jason and I have still not received magnets...I am guessin we're probably not going to get them, but we'll see. Also we may be close to last for who gets their docs because they're not sending ours. We have to pick them up at AKL before we leave that week. We' alreayd competed everything online, though, and printed the one form you have to sign, signed it already, and now just have to waltz into port with all that.

.....Our solitude time, I should tell you all, has not been at all wasted, however. I may not have been much in a posting mood...but jason and I have been distracting and entertaining ourselves by shopping (Jason needed pretty much almost a whole new wardrobe anyway and this cruise was as good excuse as any to get him out to actually buy some new clothes....AND a new pair of sandals....which was about 26 years overdue!! ) Additionally we have been making door magnets. Our door is going to look a lot like a photo album, however...but it works for us. I don't know I mentioned to everyone that we have a wall in our basement painted with that magnetic paint that we use as kind of a large scrapbook and we put up tons of pictures from all our disney trips and any fun disney magnets that we get (our Repo magnet designed by Ken is already up in that collection). Anyhow, we figured if we created magnets for our door that would fit well on that wall then afte rthe cruise we could just keep the magnets and put them there (plus many we'll just recycle and bring on future cruises)....so most of our magnets incorporate pictures of us, etc. (Plus we figured people are less likely to steal magnets that have our PICTURE on them....and even if they do we'll just assume it's because we so darn popular that someone wants US to be on their fridge at home!! ) we haven't gone as whole hog as some with magnets for every day of the trip....but we've created about 10 magnets that we really love and that we'll put up a couple a day for the first few days of the cruise to personalize our door for us!

Besides all that.....if I've missed anythign important in our ongoing talks, sorry....it's just too much for my muddled brain to handle all at once....however...it's good to "be back"

One of my faves is the cold soup and the banana bread - YUM!

Looking forward to seeing some of my friends from past trips and making new friends this cruise. Maybe I'll even remember some of your names by the end of this cruise!

Oh I forgot to answer the appetizer question......assuming that soft serve ice cream with rainbow sprinkles can't count as an "appetizers" (RULES RULES!!) then Jason and I both really love the baked cheese (or maybe it's fried) appetizer we've had several times at Triton's on the Wonder.

Finally sunny and sort of warm here today, I was out cutting the underbrush down in the back yard this afternoon.

Oldest DS had his 14th birthday the past week, had a small party on the weekend, just a couple of friends over so we went and saw Wild Hogs. What a funny movie. I highly recommend it. But then again, I think tha tis going to be a movie on the cruise but it is still very funny. I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard.

Of course I had my Bday on the 5th and we both had a cake with my partents then. It is nice to be back close to family so they can share in these moments. I know the parents like to have us closer.

Well, the wife and I had a discussion today and we have canceled our last excursion, well besides Castaway cay that is. We are going to wing it at each of the ports, just like the normal tradition that we have. Have a loose plan and sort of follow it but go with the flow if something else better or more interesting comes up. Got to love it.

Kathy, sorry to hear about your little accedient, that is a real drag. I know the pain your going through tryign to sell your current home and find a place to live. Went through the same thing last July. What a crazy 2 months that was. Sell, buy, pack move unpack. Don't want to do it again!!! But in the long run it was for the better and it will be over when you get off the boat, well accept maybe the unpacking.

DW has made her dress, now is working on the Pirate shirts. They are looking sweet!! Shopping is done, well accept for sandles for everybody but we need to get those soon so we can work them in.

Will have to get back to you after the cruise on the appetizer, since I haven't tasted any yet but man my mouth is already watering with some tha twere brought up. Is it May 11th yet!?!?!?!?!?!
