I know you guys have talked about the fish extenders before, but since I am going to make one, I wondered if anyone could tell me how wide and long I should make it?:upsidedow

OK, I have to ask - what is a "fish extender" and just what do you do with it?

Well, many thanks have to go back to May, 2005, from our own Epcotkilterfan (Debbie) who bought them at her local $1 store and at the time, she bought each stateroom one for their sailaway gift for the WB Panama Canal cruise.

Since then, there have been many versions, and take offs from the original, but here is where you can see what Debbie got to see what a REAL "Fish extender" is:

The original ones are about 7 3/4 inches in width and about 27 inches in length

If you don't want to attempt making one, pahrumpgirl (Carol) makes them and she might be willing to sell you one, you could PM her.

OK post 5850 with this one, I think we will hit the 6K mark tonight the way everybody is chatting and most likely the 10K mark before the trip That is my prediction :D

Evening everyone! Had a balmy 78 degrees here today (Hong Kong) - just wish I could have enjoyed it being inside all day. Feel bad for all of you in the snow drifts but I will be back to it soon!
Does anyone know if they offer Yoga on board?:)

They offer Yoga on the beach at Castaway but not sure about on the boat

Sears finally got the kids Lands End sandals in stock :woohoo: (I prefer to have them try shoes on, but I would have ordered online if I had to today--this was my cut off). I'm glad I ventured out before the snow resumed pouring from the sky! I have told them they have to wear them around in the house at least an hour day until I pack them to break them in. Poor kids in their sandals with the snow falling out the window:rotfl2:
I think I have now made all of the purchases which need to be completed for this trip.

Tommorrow is the four week mark for us:cool1: --this means I can now haul out the suitcases and actually start real packing without complaint from David (our little compromise:rotfl: )

Did the confirmation booking of our tourist apartment by Las Ramblas online today. Not quite ready to let go of my Marriot at the airport ressie just yet:rolleyes1 The apratment doesn't seem totally real yet, waiting for the email due in 48 hours about how to get in, etc. Then maybe I'll feel like I can let go of the Marriot and not be homeless.

Also booked all of our meals for next September's WDW trip this afternoon (no not the plan I sent you Erik--my in-laws decided to join the party which requires some changes). I am in planning heaven today:cloud9:

Now, if only the snow will stop before we all need smooth flights down, and everyone will get the upgrades they want all will be well with the world (at elast my little corner of it anyway;) )

Hey Scott, Jonathan is working in Pasadena on 4/30 too, do you have time for an early dinner (he finishes at 2:30.)

Linda, we'll try to get over to meet you guys for a couple of hours on Sunday morning 5/6, will PM phone number.
I think Curt and I could make this also. Keep us informed of plans. Thanks.

Yep I was a 300 pound hyperactive fit fat person, now I am about 200 and want to get to 180-185 for the DL 1/2 marathon. The surgery is not a silver bullit, I knew how I should have been eating, now I have a tool to help. Being fit before the surgery was a great benifit made recovery a whole lot easier.

I am trying to remember if anyone here knew me before, I know Peter of Peter and Jenn of hygene99 did.

ANy questions just ask.....

Just tons of fun !!!!
:lmao:
Either way!!

Great People, Scott & Lynn :grouphug:

Must say, Was Blown away after seeing Scott, After the Surgery!!!

Since I am always last to get anything from DCL I will probably receive my docs the morning of the cruise!

With everyone starting to pack thought these numbers may be of interest. They are based on a 30 year period and are all average numbers.

City /Min. Temp/ Max Temp/ Avg monthly precip./ Avg # of days of precip.

Tenerife /17C(63F) / 24C(75F) / 3.8mm / 5

Seville /13C(56F) / 26C(80F) / 34mm / 6

Barcelona/ 12C(54F) /21C(69F) / 59mm / 7

Could not find details for Gibralter.
Rgds,
Greg:)

Oy what a couple days....very busy with a trip for work....and a close friend/colleague of mine died after a long struggle with AIDS last night...so that is very hard :guilty: .......

....this cruise is going to be a nice escape from the real world! :goodvibes

....but focusing on something positive:
1.) We watched the DCL special on TV today and it's so wonderful it made me almost cry I'm so excited for this trip!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
2.) Our Euros arrived in the mail today and our DDE card arrived yesterday....so things are definitely falling into place.

:tigger:
