Here's where we stand on our west coast precruise meet:

Originally set up so that we could meet and greet Littleowensmommy's family, BUT they are really under the crunch to be ready for their move, so we are tentatively saying it is Thursday 4/12/07 - we we'll make the final decision whether we will meet or not by Wednesday morning. So, I will post on Wednesday. Everyone is so busy getting ready fo this cruise and since we couldn't find a weekend to meet, we'll put this meet in a holding pattern untile Wednesday 4/11/07.

Susie, we are doing Gibraltar on our own, so you are welcome to join us. But, I have a feeling we are all going to mingling around together in Gibraltar, so it could be a pretty big fun group anyway.

Also about Palo, I think you mentioned pirate night for Palo, but we love pirate dinner. If you are considering another night, maybe we could do a ladies night out????

Games--we love them and are usually to be found at any DCL scheduled ones. We are always happy to welcome extra teammates. And we've been practicing for EUCHRE EUCHRE EUCHRE (those of you who don't know--we just can't explain it in writing, but it is pronounced like "you--ker").

I used to play this all the time with my grandfather while growing up in Iowa - count me in. I don't remember the rules, but I'm a quick study.

For those still looking to get air, be sure to click through the whole process. Many times one price will come up and the then when we "select" that fare, that fare is no longer available and it goes up or to another airline. Sometimes it goes down. Airfare can change from minute to minute depending on bookings, cancelations and how soon it is to the flight.

Happy Anniversary! I just realized it is 4/4 -- One year ago today was the booking frenzy for this cruise. 5am!

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is have a good day. I need to quickly post my message and then run out and do my Easter shopping. Katie (DD 7) is very excited that the Easter Bunny will be here on Sunday. Which means I had better get to the store!

I have some wonderful people who have volunteered to help do small gifts for the children from the Disboards. Our plan is to have the gifts delivered on Sea Days. The gifts will be left in your fish extender, for those that have them. If you don't have one, maybe we could tie them to you door knob? We will try to have the gifts be things that the children can use while on the ship. This way nobody has to carry things back off the ship. We all know how valuable packing space is!

If it is okay with Debbie? We will use the "Cruise List" that she has so graciously put together as our list of children and their cabin numbers. If anyone does not want their child to be involve let me know.

Also, if anyone has any food allergies or other restrictions that they would like us to know about, please let us know ASAP.

Never played Bunko but I am game to learn. Also willing to do Eukor, haven't played it in a long while but that is always fun.

For Gibraltar, we will be doing that on our own.

DW found a pattern for our Pirate shirts and pants so she will be making those soon, one more thing off the list. Need to go look at some new suitecases for us in the next couple of weeks.

i found some cute pirate t shirts in the discount rack at Target for the boys. I think that will be the extent of their costumes, plus we have a captain jack hat that I'll bring. I'm pretty sure Scott will not be dressing up other than the bandana from dinner, not his thing, but who knows.

Plane ressies done. Going Sunday at 9:50. The 9:50 Saturday made me too nervous. We are paying about $520 with taxes, so more than the cruise, but only slightly. Using hotel points in Barcelona and Port Canaveral. I'm getting nervous the more ressies I make. I worry about leaving my kids for so long.

Guys if you booked your cruise over the last weekend check the price you paid as I have just had to get my Mum back on the phone to Disney as they had over charged me by 400%

They have refunded the money but it will take a few days so I just pray now that I havent gone over my credit limit or been charged any interest on it.
