Susie, if you take the magical express to the All Star Movie resort you can go to the party with us and then the next morning drive to the port with us. That way you don't have to waste the money on the car rental (or the hassle) My dad is driving (at a snail's pace I'm sure) but there is plenty of room!

actually she emailed me an hour ago!!! she got everything done and i am $200 richer...so i booked another excursion!

is anyone going to seville on the excursion for 9 hours...we are going to do that one!!!

Got up the next morning and walked to the end of the line and kept saying "I don't believe this"!
Nope, did not get the pins.

gads, what a night that was!! we all got up at 5am joined the line - yes we did get pins, we were about 400th in line.

How true, went for a run that morning and then saw the line, went in and offered to get pastry and coffee for folks and learned that DCL had already made arangements. I guess that was the excitment of the pin thing..

Thanks Scott H for the lovely offer of the Wal-Mart bag fish extender...maybe another time. Like when I'm sailing Carnival!


Here is my prediction for DCL's next price reduction. Instead of lowering the price, they are going to offer $100 on board credit for every booking we refer. Kind of like a "kickback".

I can see that as the cruise gets closer there is no way that you can take even one days break from here or you will be so far behind it isn't funny. 10 pages I had to get caught up with.

OK maybe it is just me but standing in line to get some pins and sleeping over night on the floor while on a cruise. Did that when I was much much younger for concert tickets, can't see me doing it again now. Not my idea of fun I think I will pass on that.

I think I will wait for a little while before I go after this last price reduction to see if there is another one. No sense going after a small one when a bigger one might be had in a week or so at this rate!!

I'm with you Scott, some plastic bags and duck tape works wonders!! Duck tape, the hold all for the modern man.

Good morning all. It is SNOWING here I really thought we were past that. However, it does no to appear to be sticking (been comming down for three hours, if it were going to stick I think it would be by now).

My TA is back and has spoken to DCL. The refund should be happening. She is supposed to confirm this afternoon as the "backroom" is handliong these to prevent a repeat of the lost ressies from before.

Susie--The Buena Vista Suites are not at Downtown Disney. They are only about a mile form WDW though. They make a lot of sense for us because we have 6 people who we can put in one room. If it were just the four of us we'd probably saty at Pop or All Stars (but they won't feed you. . .). I also trust Mary's recomendations and she says it 's a good place.

Susie (again)--Did you go to the Avis website? I made reservations for our two cars this morning with no problems. We are picking up at MCO on the 11th and returning at the port on the 12th for $29.94 with tax per car. Yes, we are going with subcompacts--we don't really need the space--if the luggage fits in the our Focus to get to the airport it will still fit in the rental car also. They showed availability on on classes except luxury SUV.

that is great!!! i had booked this one a while ago and then cancelled thinking my hubby would not want so long a tour but then last night after seeing a special on the travel channel he wanted to do this tour so i signed us all back up again!!! all of us are going...including my 13 and 7 year old....someone gave me the idea of having her draw pictures of the things we are seeing for her journal to help keep her busy (the 7 year old)....i just though that the kids would really be able to relate to seeing where christopher columbus was buried since he is someone they both have heard of....but now she will have someone close to her age too!

the disney website still has me in the same room so i guess so....i am okay with it because it has the large extra locker for clothes and the extra bathroom...and we will be in the clubs partying all night so the noise won't bother us!!!

on my last cruise we joked around about this and someone delivered presents to each of us in a home depot bag closed with duct tape!!!

i don't know...i honestly think most of us have already been working hard to try to get more people on this cruise...it is cheaper than a 3 day!!! i am hoping it will drop about $500 more by 30 days out......
