I am impressed. I am looknig at those ages and thinking abotu how hard it would be to keep up with plays, dance, sports, etc. Man oh Man you do deserve a vacation. I can hardly keep up with two.

I can hardly keep up with 2, either!!!! :lmao: We are totally discombobulated with 8, but we love them and think we'll keep most of them for awhile! LOL

BTW, this is all from one marriage. We aren't blended, though the 12 year olds are adopted.

I'm probably sharing too much, but I'm am SO EXCITED about the cruise that my mouth runneth over!!!!!!!!

Flowers and sand bucket filled with goodies from Shirley has been ordered! One more thing off my list.

Share away. It is fun to read. I never even thought about blended, though I guess many people would ask.

I bet your boys are excited about the prospect of having a big sister free week (not that I am assuming they don't like their sisters). Have you been on the Wonder recently enough for either of them to remember how fantastic a Disney cruise is?

That's a phone call I need to make soon. Perhaps I can pull it off while the kids are in gymanstics today--would NOT do for them to overhear this call.

I agree with Hadley, I like to hear all about other people. I don't ever find my life as interesting. I would have loved to have had so many kids. Dh was finished after number two; but I had to have one more. I'd still be having kids if Dh would let me. We are leaving our big girl (16) home as well, though it's hard.

So glad you're with us! :cool1:

Wonder where Scott has been. Noticed that they are getting snow out there.
Man. I hope we are done with it. Still have the snowblower ready, just in case.:rolleyes1

On the road and stuck in Riverton Wyoming, weather is really nasty. I was hoping to get home today. Busy week. Very Busy week.

Fly to Richmond this Sunday and would like some time at home so the pups and Lynn will remember me.

Have a Mtg with an attorney here soon so am trying to catch up here during the down time.

Bob, thanks for posting the Grass skirt Pic. I could write a blurb and post and maybe Ken would add it to Post 1 Page 143.

Welcome all you new folks glad to have ya aboard.... :thumbsup2

The boys have been on a cruise last November. The five year old loved it so much that he was upset the cruise (4 days) was so short. "I told you I wanted to be on the ship this many (holding both hands) days!"

Any news about the Pirate movie???

Any idea what they do for dining on such a long cruise? Do they just keep rotating us? Do the menus in the diff. restaurant stay the same?

Even on the seven night cruise there are different menus for hte second nights you ed up in the same locations. One night is Captain's Gala, one is Pirate's of course, etc. We should get soem fun new menus as well. I assume they will keep rotating us, but others who were on the PC repos will be better able to answer that.
They will be showing the new pirates movie but we don't know when yet. The general consensus is it will probably be first showm at midnight on the 18th/19th as that would match up with the premier in LA and would be a great finishing act to the pirate party on the 18th.

Delta's cheap flights had disappeared, but I found BCN-MCO for $520 on SwissAir through Orbitz. Whew!:wizard: I think there may be others on that flight on the 28th. Sounds like we'll be able to recognize each other by that time! :dance3:

We live near Orlando and the prices for flights seemed high. I found flights on Expedia flying Lufthansa to Muinch, then LTA to Miami for $300 per adult. We are renting a car in Miami and driving the 4 hours home. Alex

Welcome DizzneyDAnn and gailadams uk!

As someone else said - check out the first post on page 143 of this thread for some basic info.

DizzneyDAnn - if you want to be included in the free name badges and lanyards, I will need the first names of everyone in your sailing group.

gailadams uk - I already have you on the lanyard list.

You both should contact Debbie and get on the main cruise list.

Ken

Magical_Dreams - if you are out there, please contact me about lanyards and name badges. The supply is running very low and if I don't hear from you, you may miss out.

Ken

My Ninja TA just told me something interesting about clearing customs:

Here’s an important tidbit of information … on your return flight home, you will have to claim your checked luggage in Atlanta, clear customs, and then recheck your luggage through to Santa Ana.

This means that what ever your first USA landing is to change planes you will need to go claim your luggage and clear customs!! I knew I would have to do it, but assumed it would be in Santa Ana (home), not in Atlanta where we change planes!! Oye Vey!!!! :headache:

We've done this in Newark. It is not as bad as it sounds and actually goes quite quickly. You don't exit security. They have a special area to drop it back off to be re-xray'd and then you are off to your gate. We had a very tight connection and still made it.

My sympathies Scott. Riverton in the lovely Wyoming wind is a desolate thing in deed. Hopefully the snow will stop, wind will stay half way reasonable and you can make it home soo.

OY VEY!!! You are such a chatty bunch these days!!! ;) ;)

So I'm sure there's a dozen or more things I should respond to or say....but I won't remember all that so I won't even try!:rotfl: But here goes a few thoughts:

Hadley...I got your message and you guys feel free to stalk us all you want...I have already been teasing Jason that I am going to ditch him with sometime and steal your son and dance all over the boat (Jason's not a dancer) singing Disney songs...so fair's fair!! :lmao:

Kelly and Chris---you guys are going to love love LOVE Wicked. I know I've already told you both that but I thought I'd say it again. We just bought season passes to the shows that will be touring through Rochester in the fall and Spring and it includes Spelling Bee, Avenue Q, and Wicked and I'm already giddy with excitement. In fact there's a fair chance that I'll see Wicked more than once when it's here cuz it's doing a 2 week run!!

To everyone who's gonna help with the banner....HURRAY!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: I'm so glad that worked out to make a great banner AND to create a cool meet and greet!!

Re: the gift in the mail....I haven't gotten it....I'm trying to be patient...but that isn't one of my virtues!!

:welcome: to our new cruisers!!

and...hmm....I think that's it for now...I guess that technically I SHOULD go do some work now...blah:rolleyes:

If you select (a) or (c), what’s your home address?

Thanks all for the welcome. Can't wait. Trying to convince my daughters to come now too!

Oh and Kelly & Chris as said you will love Wicked! My youngest daughter (27) went to see it and she said it was fantastic!

Is she also in the UK? So she saw it in London? If so then how fortunate for her because if she saw it when it opened in London then she saw Idina Menzel, the "real" Elphaba (the main character of the show), who won a Tony Award for creating the role. I saw Idina play the role 4 times on Broadway before she left the show to make the film version of "Rent" and she is breathtaking!!
