Hey AuntyBrat - did you make it up to Solvang this past weekend?

Ken

Going up this weekend for the Taste of Solvang...eatting our way through the city...I counsider it practice for the cruise!!!:lmao:

This is the third time I will fortunate enough to be a "Lanyard Person".
They are really nice. I've had people ask where they can buy them.
I think everyone will be pleased with the 2007 version.

Thanks Ken and Shari.:thumbsup2

I think we were called those D*** lanyard people!:rotfl:

Thanks everyone for the congrats....it is very exciting. I can't take full credit since I'm primarily just their tumbling instructor...their main coach does most of their stunting and dancing training...but it's nice to be a part of it, nonetheless. And they're very excited about this accomplishment because the team they beat and forced into second place was trying to make this their NINTH straight national title in a row...so not only did they win the big one, but they unseated a formidable and talented squad in doing so!:cheer2:

:tigger:
Erik

Congrats again Erik!

hi, im on the august repo. without me have to read past so many pages can you tell me what you have learned from disney that us august cruisers will not know.
how many formal nights? i heard one is this true?
how many semi formal nights?
is there a pirate party?
anything else you can think of
thankyou

So far this is the information we have received:
1 formal night
2 semi formal nights
Yes, on the pirate party going eastbound, won't know the date until about 30 days out according to the CM I talked to.

High Tea and Brunches are available on sea days. Movie schedule will be available towards end of April. We are hoping to see POC III on the release date on the ship.

That's about it from this end.

I thought you were going this past weekend. The town was full of bicycles for a big ride they do every year - it would not have been the best weekend for a casual visit.

We spend one night in Solvang as part of the Arthritis Ride. We camp out behind the mission.

Enjoy your trip.

Seulater---you rock at getting the dirt! You're better than my T.A.!! I hope once you've gotten all those details...like movie schedules and the dates for the pirate party and other dinners you'll post it for all of us so we can make sure that our online bookings still work out and don't conflict!!

Welcome new cruisers from Germany! My husband hopes you drink beer! :welcome:

......oh and while we're all singing his praises...I'll join the "RAH RAH GO KEN" Squad, too! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: (I'm in a bit of a cheerleader mood at the moment because a few hours ago my cheerleading squad called me from Orlando where they finished their big competition late this evening....and informed me that I am the tumbling coach of the now official NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!:cheer2: :cheer2: )

Erik

Hey KEWL! My granddaughter is down there cheering. :cheer2: :cheer2:
Haven't heard anything yet. I think she was more excited about going to Disney.

Hi
We just found this board.
We are Maria and Juergen and we live in Germany.
Last week we booked this fantastic cruise.
Can you ad our names to your cruise rooster?
Our stateroom is 7066 and we have late seating.
we are looking forward to meet all the other Disney Fans.

have a nice day

Juergen

Willkommen Maria and Juergen!
(hope that is right, I haven't spoken German since high school)

This quite a crew you have decided to join. Should be a fun cruise. :thumbsup2

We went to Animal Kingdom today.... now I know why we have only been there 3 times since it opened... it was boring!!!! We spent the whole day walking back and forth to get fast pass tickets, we only had an hour between each scheduled time between fast passes, so we couldn't visit another part of the park or we would miss our time. Lunch was bad.. there was no place to sit, and it was so crowded we felt like cattle.

I think we will stick to EPCOT for now on....

by the way, here is my puppy picture.
She decided to grab a pair of DD's underwear...

Yes. I think I heard that reference once.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I believe that we were all lumped in together.....
The innocent (like me) with the deck chair robbers and hallway sleepers.:rotfl2:

WOW! I can't belive you don't like Animal Kingdom. We LOVE the shows (haven't been since Nemo opened--still mourning loss of Tarzan Rocks). Festival of the Lion King is my FAVOURITE attraction on property. I admit it can get very hot and crowded (why we do not go to WDW in high season). Even Flights of Wonder is a blast. We always scheudle our day there around the shows an if we miss rides, so be it (my two cents for those of you who may have never been there).

Well guess what! We had an earthquake tonight! :scared1: :scared1: There was a 3.6 earthquake just south of me and I did feel it! We don't have those here. An occasional tremor but usually out in the lake. I hope no more are on the horizon

I checked one more thing off of my to do list: Made my flight reservations from Barcelona to Paris. Now I only have to figure out how to get from the port to the airport and the airport to DLP.

It is getting closer!!

Debbie

I talked to the disney cruise line today and they said that we will have a midnight curfew to be back on the ship. Has anyone else heard this? Why would we have a curfew? Am I missing something?
