How much do you guys think Wishes will affect crowds on 5/11? We are going 5/6-5/12 and we are planned to go to MK on that day. We really wanted our first and last day at MK, but does anybody think it is worthwhile swapping with our AK day on the 10th? And what would be the odds of being able to get a Peter Pan and SDMT FP+ for the 10th at this stage?

Should I just roll with what we have and quit second-guessing myself?

We have ADR at 1900 PF and I had just moved my time up to 6:40 to have plenty of time to enjoy the dinner & characters....and head out to the dock to watch the last wishes from there. When park hours changed, I was a little worried they might move Wishes to 10. Having ADR a little over 2 hours before fireworks was fine but, I don't really want 3 hours before....I think my family will be too tired to wait that out.

I'd guess crowds will be CRAZY at night as everyone will be arriving to see the last wishes. But during the day it shouldn't be much different.

First Welcome to the Dis

Wishes will be extremely crowded. You can count on CMs and locals with APs to be there. People who may have bought non-PH tickets and are wanting to see the last Wishes may want to come to MK for the day. In our case we will be only coming over after dinner for Wishes.

At this late stage I can't say whether or not you can change your FPs, I suppose you can look on the app and see what's available. I think a better option is-since you know ahead of time that this might be a busy day at MK-is to be there at RD-so much can be done in the first 2 hours.

I think 2nd guessing is just part of the pre-trip jitters, I do it every. single. trip. This trip we will be at AK on an EMH morning-something we NEVER do. So just a few days ago I got the idea that I should change park days around, which also means moving FPs and some ADRs. It was going to be a messy and complicated venture so I opted to just stick with what we have.
