May 11, 2013 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise on Disney Fantasy - Itinerary B

For those new to this thread who don't read previous pages, the original and active FB group for this cruise is at http://www.facebook.com/groups/479540355413485/

The group is growing. It is a private "closed group" so you need to request to join and verify that you are on this cruise. You can send a PM to DisneyCrazMom, who is admin for the group (THANK YOU for doing that! :thumbsup2 ). Perhaps this thread's OP could add the link to the first post so those joining this cruise can easily find it. :thanks:

Thank you for reposting the FB, I couldn't figure out how to do it on my ipad last night. :confused3

Anyone doing something special for Mother's Day on the cruise? Just wondering? My mom (mother of 3 DD) and me (1 DS) were planning on get a fire and ice pedicure? Does disney do something for the moms?

OMG, I didn't even realize we were cruising during Mother's Day! Well I will be sure to let my DH know so that he and the kids can plan something for me. :rotfl:

Lol I agree my DH is paying for both my mom and my pedicure!!! I'm sure disney has something planned!

We are also Concierge deck 12, but in a Cat. T suite on the bump-out. I was spoiled by the suite twice this year and want my hubby to experience it. It's my 17th DCL cruise but his first. It's my present to him for our 23rd anniversary.

I don't think there are any suites left on our cruise unless someone cancels. Last month there was one still showing on deck 11, but now if you actually try to select a Cat. T and continue, a message at the top says it's no longer available.

We are also on the May 11 sailing in 12518.:) Me, DH, DD11 and DS10. We are also spending a few days at WDW after, hoping to catch SWW.

For some reason I thought you were in 12504. So are both your cabins port side? We are starboard.

Edited to add: I just realized that your post here is why I thought you were starboard. I'm happy to know it was not just my imagination - LOL.

WHICH one? ;) Port side?

That's okay! It happens to everyone now and then. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I'm still hopeful that I may get an upgrade at port to a T! So one more room change wouldn't be a bad thing!

That should be in the middle of the bump-out, so a deeper verandah. :thumbsup2

Maybe you'll want to switch with them. ;)

I would!! But they deserve the extras for all that they do! I'll just visit a lot!

I can provide a link but I really don't want to just open it up to anyone. I want to be sure it is only people on our cruise not someone that is searching to find out who might have an empty home or varies other creepy things. maybe it is just a bad idea. Other groups have used it and loved it but now I am not sure.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Sorry, that I didn't respond to your PM... I can't PM until I have made ten posts. This will be six. :) I think I sent a request to join the FB. I did it through my DISboard app on my iPad. I couldn't figure it out on the iPad version of Facebook. I did, however, discovered that my family.... everyone in my family... decided that Facebook was the ONLY way to communicate important events like births, graduations, trips, etc... Lol. I have some catching up to do.... Followed by a lot of congratulations and a bit of scolding.

Welcome to all the new families!

Yeah, Facebook grows on you.

Glad to see a Californian! I was born and raised in San Diego. :thumbsup2

I love SD. I lived there from 1991-1993, before they cleaned up the lamp district. I can't believe how much it has changed. We live north of LA so we try to make a trip there at least once a year. It's hard to drive past Disneyland, though. When we go to SD, we make sure our DD has a potty break before we hit the Disneyland area. For some reason, if we don't stop sooner, her potty alarm always goes off in Orange County, and all it takes is for her to see a Disney bus drive by before the Mickey alarm goes off. That alarm has a three day deactivation process that is very expensive.

We are planning to stay at a WDW resort before the cruise... Anyone else?

LOL - I grew up going to DL most weekends. When I got older I even dated a DL musician for quite awhile and looking back I think I did that mainly for the perk of getting in free or we'd have split up sooner. :rotfl2:

Now I live an hour from WDW, but although I've always had an AP, I don't visit as often as I used to. I like staying on property there occasionally though, but cruises are the best! :goodvibes
