May 10th, 2025 (Disney Treasure) 7-Night Eastern Caribbean Cruise

I know it's been 3 months, but quick update. We are still going on this trip, but it's now a Honeymoon Cruise for us, as Frank & I tied the knot (after 20 years together) on Halloween! I will probably check in closer to our trip to see if anyone would like to meet up for a howdy-do!

PS - did you all hear that the Treasure and her crew were heroes by saving some folks in a catamaran last week?
Congratulations!!

Well, friends, 88 days to go! I woke up at midnight at my booking window to look for anything interesting. Hubby and I weren't thrilled with the excursions, so we opted not to do any. Then started looking for anything on board. Nada. Zip. Nothing. All booked up. We had hoped for a Palo brunch and maybe try a wine/alcohol tasting session. No dice.

Certainly, I'm going to be checking every day to see if something opens up, but I am kind of disappointed that there wasn't a single option left for us 3 months before sailing. We're going to have a great time regardless - I am sure Frank & I will be able to find a ton of things to do instead, even if it's just relaxing on the balcony!

Anyone still interested in meeting up for a coffee/drink while on board?

We've done 10 cruises so far and hardly any excursions. Generally, for us, the ship is the trip and we're mostly happy on board. We'll get off and walk around, but that's about it. This will be our first platinum cruise and we were able to book Palo brunch, it'll be our first time there.

We're not drinkers, so the tastings aren't for us. Hopefully, something opens up for you! I know I mentioned it in one of our private messages, but are you on Facebook to join the group there? Some people have been posting when they drop stuff, so you might be able to check and find something.

We book interior rooms because we're out and about most of the day. When not at trivia or some other activity, I love to relax on Deck 4, although that might be different on the Treasure. Would love to say hello at some point!

Same as you - We're not drinkers either, though we do splurge a little while on vacation (maybe 1 drink/day if we remember). Unfortunately, I am not on Facebook; my social media presence is somewhat limited due to my career, but I can share my email addy with you via private message if you'd like! I'd love to say hello and share a coffee/tea with ya, and maybe our schedules will coordinate enough to spend a little down time together!

We've still not found any activities onboard, and to be honest, that's ok with us - I wouldn't want to take a slot for an activity that we are lukewarm on. Besides, there's so much to do and see, I doubt we'll have trouble finding things to occupy our time, and we're pretty low-key folks to begin with. It's not that important for us to be on the go go go every second, as that defeats the purpose of a vacation, right? We have the late dinner slot, so we'll probably we hitting up some of the more grownup events in the evening when we can. I'm looking forward to doing some heavy duty sitting & relaxing, as I am an EXPERT at that. I also anticipate doing the aforementioned loafing around while crocheting to pretend I'm being productive, so if you see some woman with yarn, it might be me.

We'll be on Deck 8, and I've already gotten us a Honeymoon Cruise magnet for our door!

I remember you saying in our PM about your career! I'll send you a message in our PM chat!

Ok...16 days to go. Is everyone excited? Packed?

It's been very very quiet here, so I wanted to follow up to see if anyone is interested in meeting for a drink (leaded and/or unleaded), a wave, or otherwise wanting to say hello!
