Wow, there are a lot of posts on this thread LOL I am trying to decide if this is the right cruise for me...please talk me into it! This would be my first cruise and it will be solo. I had kind of decided a Feb/08 7-day maybe non-disney was the way to go and then this cruise was announced. It sounds great! But 15 nights solo too long for a first cruise? I have been to WDW solo a few times for this long and had a great time. I would love to meet up with other dissers. Hi Jackie You've cruised solo before, right? Are there adult activities to keep you busy too? I would have to take the cheapest cabin I could get. Is it still worth it? Any tips? Sorry for all the questions LOL but I only have one week left to decide!

Katypop, I am sailing with a family I meet on my last cruise. I did that cruise solo, and believe you me had a hard time finding myself completely alone, lol.

If you want to do the PC, sign up, you should be fine, and at some point before the cruise, who knows, you might chose to join up with a group for meals.

I have cruised solo and always have found great freinds. The people that have posted on this board seem to be a terrific group. We have have 16 months to get to know each other and the time will pass very quickly. I will make a small wager that by the time you get ready to cruise, you won't feel solo, you will feel like you are cruising with a ship of good friends.

Well, hello there missy! Looks like SOMEONE you've met will be on this cruise (God willing and the creek don't rise)! My sister and brother in law MAY be going also (depends on sister's powers of persuasion).

I'm thinking with this fun loving crowd, you'll WANT those quite times alone in your cabin.

Now, with the prospect of a new job on the horizon, I am not sure when/how to tell them of a two week vacation in 2008.....in addition to all the other monthly vacations I plan on taking.

But I may need two new jobs....our escrow review came in and due to the 200% increase in homeowner's insurance our mortgage payment is going up by $500 a MONTH!

Made me almost sick to my stomach!

We just received our real estate tax review. Not as bad as your situation, but a shock just as well.

Speaking of the EB people, did you see, they even keep track of the number of posts for each person. Check out post # 1624 on page 109.

Looking at the list they have quite a few more people on their cruise than us at this time.
