I think less is better...I loved our Dec thread and group, but in all honesty it was so many people to keep up with. There are many we never even got to meet!

Glad you decided to join the cruise. We'll have to plan some "girls only activites".

Speaking of the EB people, did you see, they even keep track of the number of posts for each person. Check out post # 1624 on page 109.

Looking at the list they have quite a few more people on their cruise than us at this time.

Morning all, west coasters are getting up or are at work now that it is past 8 AM.

I am hopeful that our lower numbers will work in our benefit as we WILL all get the cabins we want.

Not just the cabins we want but at much lower prices since the demand will be less!!!! I can dream can't I???:sail:

I share the dream. Any guesses for what the price threshold is going to be? I know what I paid for 7 on the 12/29/07 NYE cruise so have some idea. Any other thoughts??

Some of the EB sailed with us 12/09/06. Check out that thread - over 70,000 posts. We know how to count posts too, all in good fun though! ;)

So does anyone watch the prices over time. Has anyone ever cancelled and rebooked because the price dropped? Or does that not happen? A girl can wonder....and Hope :)

I have NEVER seen the prices drop on a specialty cruise. They might stall and not go any higher, or they might offer incentives to new bookings (which has created problems because people who have previously booked demand the same incentives), but if they dropped the price, way too many people would cancel and rebook to get the lower price.

I think your best bet is to get your ressie in as soon as possible.

Actually this did happen on the 12/09/06 DD. Several in our DIS group rebooked in the last month to 12 GTY because those prices dropped quite a bit. They first offered Florida resident rates, military discounted rates, then dropped the 12 gty. I'm not sure why that cruise was not filling up, :confused3 but they did manage to get the ship fairly full by offering those deals. I don't see that happening with this PC cruise though, but we can hope and keep an eye on the prices near sailing time.

Actually, if the price, on your cabin on your cruise, drops, you just call and let them know you saw that and would like the new price. I did it for my October cruise when it dropped $70.

Ok I am posting here even though I am worried I will jinx myself. John has already mentioned us, we were on the 120906 double dip. We have asked DU (the only disney specialist I know) to book this for us on January 31. We were all booked in December but the Panama Canal is on that list we have to do before we die. I only have 1 regret, and it's a big one and if she is reading this she will know what it is.hoping hoping....

We started out as a small & quiet group too. ;) :lmao:

Ok, Im trying not to obsess about the price, but I checked the 14 Med cruise to get some sort of idea. I hope those prices are not any indication of what we may see for the WB cruise :scared1: but if I was to keep my current crusie that I have booked and then decided to do a 7 day west coast, I comes out about the same. :lmao:

I am obviously the quiet, shy one of the group. ;) :lmao:

OMG, I think I am going to freak...I just now realized that we will have luggage restrictions on the airline coming home.......can you tell we don't fly much?

What the heck am I going to do? Is there a limit on number of bags or just weight?
