good morning, what a day. John was up very early and his car wouldn't start, luckily it was only out of gas. It seems it is always something around here.

Do you think we will regret not having a veranda? We have never cruised before, not sure we want to justify the cost for it.
Opinions?
honestly, this cruise may mae a difference with all the sea days but on the 7 nighters we went on the Verandah only a handful of times. Not really worth the extra cost for us.
Our appointment was at 1:00 today with the neurologist. He did a few more in-offices tests on Tyler and said the abnormal part of the EEG he had done earlier basically means there's a potential for seizure activity and that he needs to be monitored. But since nobody is seeing anything that looks like seizure activity, he said really all that means is having him come back in 5 months for another EEG to see if there's increased activity or if it's the same. If it remains the same, he'll have him do another in 6 months to compare again. If it's increased, he'll discuss options. Basically means nothing going on for us to worry about at this time, but he showed us pictures of what a person looks like during a bunch of different types of seizures and told us things to be on the lookout for.
I received the detailed report in the mail today from the neuropsychologist. I has all his test scores and all her findings and recommendations, etc. It's what we'll take for the psychologist to review so she'll know what she's starting with. So now the next step is for us to start his psychologist appointments and also provide the report to school so school can make any recommended modifications for him if possible. We're on a roll now!![]()
OK....I was bad and couldn't keep my mouth shut at our appointment. Stepmom asked the neurologist for a copy of the report and he sort of looked at her blankly, and I piped up and said, "Well, his dad or I could ask for that if necessary."His dad said, "We don't really need it, but OK...can we have a copy please?" I said, "Yeah, none of us are doctors, so we wouldn't be able to read it" and she said, "My stepmom can read it." I said, "OH! I didn't realize she's a doctor, I thought she's a firefighter." And she responded, "She had medical training as a firefighter." I said, "I can change a tire on my car, but I can't read the diagnostic report from the computer at the mechanic's shop".
Very bad of me, but I loved seeing the look on her face!

V, I saw you and your lovely family arrive for the meal, but I didn't want to hold you up as I think you were running late.
