good morning, what a day. John was up very early and his car wouldn't start, luckily it was only out of gas. It seems it is always something around here.

I know exactly how you feel. I lost my checkbook and I am about ready to tear my hair out looking for it. I had it just yesterday.

Do you think we will regret not having a veranda? We have never cruised before, not sure we want to justify the cost for it.

Opinions?

honestly, this cruise may mae a difference with all the sea days but on the 7 nighters we went on the Verandah only a handful of times. Not really worth the extra cost for us.

John's review went really well. He is the top manager as far as they are concerned and his raise was 3.5 % more than any other manager. He is a little bummed that they aren't coming to his store...he wants to show off all his hard work, but I told him it's because they know they don't need to.
My review is in Jan (at the end) the maximum raise we can get is 4.5 % but the budget for all departments is set at 3%. I;ll take whatever I can get.

I agree. We've never had a verandah before but the extra cost was too much for us. We're happy to be on the ship! :thumbsup2

Hi all. Landed back home at around lunch time over here. Spent the afternoon trying to unpack between catching up on here and other forums!!!! Boy you have been busy and I just thought I would post a hi and then get back to catching up. I think there are over 100 pages!

Wanted to say I am thinking about all of you with sad news, problems and difficulties.

Lisa, thanks for the Passporter. It was great to have a browse before we went on our short cruise. You are on my ever growing list of people to reimburse on our cruise next May!!!!

Deb, John and Monica. It was such fun meeting up with you on the Sunday night and I am so glad our flight landed early enough to do so. Looking forward to spending more time with you next year.

PJ, thanks for allowing us to view your great room. I have just read you must have changed the time of the tour, so sorry for turning up early. It was lovely meeting you, John, Amy, Sophia(who we frightened off I think)!!:guilty: Angie and Dennis, thanks for spending time with us in the lobby after I pounced on you!!! So nice to meet you and have a chat.

V, I saw you and your lovely family arrive for the meal, but I didn't want to hold you up as I think you were running late.

I called by the DCL desk at POR, but Connie was never working when I was there - shame.

Will post again when I have read more posts.

We had a brilliant vacation and I loved the cruise.

Our appointment was at 1:00 today with the neurologist. He did a few more in-offices tests on Tyler and said the abnormal part of the EEG he had done earlier basically means there's a potential for seizure activity and that he needs to be monitored. But since nobody is seeing anything that looks like seizure activity, he said really all that means is having him come back in 5 months for another EEG to see if there's increased activity or if it's the same. If it remains the same, he'll have him do another in 6 months to compare again. If it's increased, he'll discuss options. Basically means nothing going on for us to worry about at this time, but he showed us pictures of what a person looks like during a bunch of different types of seizures and told us things to be on the lookout for.

I received the detailed report in the mail today from the neuropsychologist. I has all his test scores and all her findings and recommendations, etc. It's what we'll take for the psychologist to review so she'll know what she's starting with. So now the next step is for us to start his psychologist appointments and also provide the report to school so school can make any recommended modifications for him if possible. We're on a roll now! :thumbsup2

Seems like things are going well.

OK....I was bad and couldn't keep my mouth shut at our appointment. Stepmom asked the neurologist for a copy of the report and he sort of looked at her blankly, and I piped up and said, "Well, his dad or I could ask for that if necessary." ;) His dad said, "We don't really need it, but OK...can we have a copy please?" I said, "Yeah, none of us are doctors, so we wouldn't be able to read it" and she said, "My stepmom can read it." I said, "OH! I didn't realize she's a doctor, I thought she's a firefighter." And she responded, "She had medical training as a firefighter." I said, "I can change a tire on my car, but I can't read the diagnostic report from the computer at the mechanic's shop". :lmao: Very bad of me, but I loved seeing the look on her face! :rotfl2:

There is something fun about being naughty Holly!

We had the verandah once and only went out twice the whole week and once was before we left the port!
