love this idea, the question for me is kids in the club that night?
I think I'd want them to see it, but then I'd wanna ditch them and have some adult time with DH.

I was thinking the same thing At the dancing studio we went to here in Scottsdale there were some people that had their kids take ballroom dancing lessons....I'd like them to do that but its soooo expensive and they could dance together(boy/girl works out great). But I would like alone time to spend with DH and enjoy ourselves too

I just showed the list of theme nights and told her I was interested in the Ballroom Under the Stars and she said they did that on her DVC member cruise in October and it wasn't outside like I'd been assuming. She said it was in the atrium and was very cheesy. Let's hope ours is different!

I came over here to see if you guys knew Jetblue opened their dates & yes you do, and I hope you don't mind but I quoted this on the eastbound repo because I think we were all getting excited & starting to imagine the same idea as the post below! No such luck eh?

maybe we should ask on teh main board if anyone else has had a ballroom under the stars? I was picturing thousands of white mini twinkling lights draped from one side of the boat to the other, fresh flowers everywhere, soft romantic music playing, butlers walking around with trays of champagne and hors d'ouevres......that kind of thing

V....thank you so much....I just bought my ballroom dress from one of your links....nexteve.com. Here's the one I bought and I got it in hot pink.

I absolutely fell in love with it and it's a great price so I had to have it. I've been looking for a hot pink dress as well for formal night. Now I have my hot pink ballroom dress. I ordered it 4 sizes smaller than I used to be. I'm already down almost 2 sizes and I'll have to exchange my cocktail length dress that I bought and get it smaller too. I'm so thrilled!

Now no one else is allowed to buy this dress or we will match and we don't want that!

I wish I could just dye my wedding gown...it is princess all the way and is spagetti straps with a large width stole - I think they are called that....it was December when we got married and a bit chilly!

you are sooooo LUCKY!
When we got home, I put them both in the tub....scrubbed up, washed hair, out and dried and then dinner and then they got to watch HSM2.......Samantha fell asleep and now it's me and Haley oh and Tebow hanging in there.

Those dresses are so cute...like the bubble dress look (it looks like it can "hide" a log ) Before I can go dress shopping I need to faithfully hit the gym 3-5 times a week, unlike now where it is 0 times a week. So, Santa brought me Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii and Scott and I challenged eachother last night for a few hours...I was so sore this am, isn't that sad?! They have a Dancing with the Stars for the Wii, maybe it teaches you ballroom dancing?!

Yes, one for Ladies Only and you're not on that list, you may want to reconsider and one for couples only....if you could get John to go with you.

My sister got Dancing with the stars for Wii....it was pretty tough.....but then again, we'd been through the bowling, the cow jumping game, made a run to Krystal burger and had a few wines!! I was mesmorized by the avatar making, that was so much fun!

What types of dances did it have on it, do you remember? Do you think you could actually learn dances from it or is it more just for fun?
