May 10, 2008 Ship of Thieves! Stealing the Magic..AGAIN!!! Panama Canal FL to CA!!! Part 8

This is Wilson's during the Nemo ride last month at Dland

...a captured memory in my heart of his little hand.

I loved the pictures of Molly and Wilson, especially the hand!!

YEAAAAA!!!!!! We're in Cocoa Beach. Two days of chill and pamper at the ocean....then onto the Wonder.....yes, I'll be in 5122...my home!

The car ride took 16 hours....not bad. We stopped in Jacksonville and had breakfast with my brother. It was good to see him in his element and not at mom's house.

I found out I could read in the van but not type....I couldn't let go of the laptop....I had to hold it...no hands for typing. Now we're in the hotel and I have a desk to work with....much easier.

Tomorrow morning me and Sandi are doing manis and pedis then John and I will shop for trick or treat gifts and a bag to hold my loot. I'm wearing a cosutme so I get to trick or treat as well. Then we'll go to Ron Jons like we always do and always find something to buy. Dinner will be at the Grill on Sat night while waving to PJ as she leaves the port. Then me and John get really excited coz it'll only be a wake up and we're leaving port.

It's only been one year since my last cruise and this one will be number 5, but I still get so thrilled every time.

Have an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS time!! I am so jealous that you are leaving on DCL!! We still have over 2 months to go!!

Well, I promised Tyler we'd make pumpkin drop cookies. He missed that day in Kindergarten because his class did that on the day of his EEG. His teacher was nice enough to send the recipe home, so I told him we'll make them Sunday after church. I invited my mom to come to town to help and taste, but she hasn't decided yet whether she'll come because she's on vacation and might be driving to North Carolina to visit a friend. Other than that, I have no plans yet. Maybe ice skating Saturday evening. Not sure. What are your plans?

Have fun with Tyler this weekend. Ice skating sounds fun and of course, making the pumpkin drop cookies!!

Now if someone can tell me how to make the pictures smaller i would appreciate it!

Great pics!! The way I resize my pics is that I open them with Microsoft Office Picture Maker. Under change picture size, I click resize. Under resize is a button you can click that is called "predefined width & size". I slide the slider bar down and highlight "web small (314 x235 px). Once the picture is resized, I rename it and upload to photobucket.

Thanks! Can I resize on photobucket?

Yes you can. If you are veiwing the picture there are tabs at the top, use the reisize and use website/Email. that should do it.

I do think more CA schools are PC - I know one elementary private school that won't allow the little kids to dress up! That being said, there are still a few school out there in CA that are "cool."!

Well, I do have to say I love the tight pants they wear!

And finally, the last one. This is my favorite and will be on the wall in our living room. The 8 X 10 size really shows his missing 2 bottom teeth! Very cute!

Another one - very sad photo of last year when we left the Wonder Disney Cruise and my mil and I got lump of our throat when my son started crying. We know that he had a great times. He won the coolest boy in the club!!


But this year he didn't crying because I told him that we are coming back to Panama Canal, he was so happy but he was bit upset at airport.

Well, I'm not the best at explaining things, but I'll try. First, I set up an account at photobucket.com (there are tons of other photo hosting sites out there, but that's just what I use based on advise from the DIS). Then I upload pics to photobucket. When the pics are on photobucket, when I look at my album, there are 4 different types of code to select (or maybe "code" isn't a correct term....I don't know) and if you select the bottom one, the one that says IMG code, you can copy and paste that code into your post here on the message board and your picture will show up here.

Hope that makes sense, but if not it's because I had another beer night after school. YUP, 2 beer nights in a row! VERY scary and VERY bad, but I'm very happy and it was a GREAT release for me! My friend Cindy had a couple drinks with me and great conversations with a bunch of laughing.

I have their ages listed wrong on the front page....I don't know what I was thinking....Molly is 10 and will be ATOC and Wilson turns 8 in Feb '08. And oh yeah they are coming, they are my reason for taking the cruise!!!!!

I look forward to Pumpkin pictures every year. I shop the sales after the season for the next years shirts...yes they usually have matching shirts or complimenting at least. I love the red hair and orange clothes on them....they not so much....I'm a mean mom I make them do these every year.

So we are having a hard night tonight over the tooth fairy. Seems Mister Wilson believes she doesn't exists. Nor the Halloween Witch nor Santa Claus. very sad....you must believe to receive.

The Halloween Witch comes to your house on Halloween night and gathers all the sacificed candy and exchanges it for a gift (Ninetendo chip, mini AG doll on this list for this year) Our friend came up with this idea a few years back, we started it last year and it worked great. The kids get to keep x number of pieces (same as years old) then the rest of the candy...out!!!! (okay it moves to dad's office) and saves us the candy yuck over the next few weeks.

Tyler's school doesn't allow costumes for the in school Halloween parties. Very sad. But Monday night there's an after hours party (6:30-8:30pm) and he can wear his costume, but the rules are "nothing scary".

Hmmmm......very strange. I just now noticed that I put a certain article of clothing on inside out this morning, but I didn't notice it ALL day long until now! Fortunately, it's not something anybody will see! Anybody else ever do this? And why did I NOT notice this until after 3 beers?!

I have some very, very bad news about this cruise. My co-cruiser Cindy has to cancel. So I have to e-mail All Seasons and let them know. The bad part is that I'm pretty sure I can't just cancel a person and think they'll make me just cancel the whole reservation. Does anybody know? I completely understand her reasons and have absolutely no complaints about it. It's totally not her fault, so that's not the issue. Maybe I can just replace her with somebody else. Are there any solo cruisers who'd like to take her spot in my room? It's only a Cat. 12 because that's all that was available when we booked.
