I have a meeting at 11 with my old boss, my new boss and the supervisor of the position that is now vacant which the work has been thrown on me....well I did agree. But I think the responsibilty should fall on the supervisor of that position.

oh and last night, since Samantha wasn't feeling well she was snuggling with me all night. She turns to me at one point and says, mom, if you die, I will take care of your jewelry and Haley for you. OH, I was a little bit flabbergasted. They are talking about saftey issues at school, I don't think dying has come up but....I guess the diamonds come before Haley.

I just talked to her. She is feeling better but definitely not herself. She is actually sitting still.

I'm glad she is feeling a bit better.

Though I didn't like my children ill, there was something lovely about them being quiet and us nestling up on the sofa watching the tv together. It meant they were getting better, but it wouldn't be long before normality returned.

Kaylee - re:scrapbooking....only one I think I can catch up on at this time is the scrapbook of my travels...I have 3 more trips to do, then I'm done until this cruise.....my goal is to be ready for this cruise! Also - about WDW - either time (October or November) should be a good time to come down. Be aware that at this time we're still having 90 degree weather, so if you want cooler you may want to wait until November.

Got a phone call last night from dear friends in VA....and guess what! They're planning a quick visit in November! WOOHOO!!

Carol(Pahrumpgirl) I think reads sometimes but doesn't post too often. She is willing to make more Fish Extenders when folk want them.

My sister and niece have been here since last Tuesday so we have been busy seeing the sights. Spent last Thurs - Sat at DL - had a great time at the Halloween Party. Yesterday was spent at the Wild Animal Park and today we are headed off to the San Diego Zoo.

I've had a good afternoon thanks. Pottered a bit and got tonights meal ready. roast beef, Yorkshire puddings, new potatoes, carrots, leeks and sprouts!!!

Just popping in to say Hi. I try to keep up but haven't been very successful lately. Have dealt with a leg infection that required IV antibiotics (not fun and not something I want to repeat!), bronchitis that still won't go away, Mom's surgery, Dad's visit and tests for Jim -- it might be his gallbladder. Hoping to be healthy by cruise time.

I'm working...unfortunately....but starting research on my probable 2009 trip (well 1 of them). Am looking at a safari in Africa....anyone have any thoughts as to which location is better?? Thinking of Tanzania, South Africa or Kenya.

Please tell Jim if he has gall bladder issues and has to has him removed, that for me the surgery was a peice of cake. I feel fabulous now that it has been removed. Yes, Noel and Fiona....I can relate to the leg issues and Noel can relate to Jim's gall bladder issues.....small world that we each have the same health issues going on at the same time.
