John How is your high school team doing? Westfield is 5-0 and on track to win the VA state championship. Tonight they won 31 to 0...played a good team too. It has been fun going to all the games. I think that is why Don said I could get an exchange student....this would have been the ony year in 12 when we would not have a high schooler in our house. He goes to the games with Vanessa

We started out 4-0, and then lost the next two games. Tonight we beat the only undefeated team in our league 7-6.

I wish my family could travel together, but we can't even get together for a day without a few of us needing drugs!

We're having beautiful warm weather here too
It's our Thanksgiving here this weekend. I work Saturday, then will be cleaning the house, mowing the grass and thawing out the turkey on Sunday. Monday we will have our traditional turkey for Thanksgiving Day

What a wonderful weekend! I LOVE Thanksgiving dinner! Hmmmmm......Tyler did so well driving to Tennessee & back, I'm sure the drive to your house would be shorter. ROAD TRIP for turkey!

How exciting about your brother's wedding! Is he nervous yet? Will it be a big wedding? What's your role in the big event?

They're having about 120 people, so that sounds big to me. DH and I are both in the wedding party. We get to walk down the aisle together, which should be fun. I don't think he's too nervous- just excited to get it over with so he can party and go to WDW/DCL!!

ok, I am going to be a grouch tonight.

I got a form letter stating I didn't get the job. It didn't mention going with another candidate.


Down the side at the bottom there was a personal hand written note from the HR lady saying she hopes I keep them in mind for the future.

Sorry about the job V!! I'm sure that means something even better will come along though.

Look at how big my baby has gotten at only ten months old.

Oh my goodness!!!!! It seems like just last month when you posted the adorable picture where she had one ear up and one ear down. I can't believe how big she is now.....but so beautiful! I love German Shephards.

I flew into Reno this morning for a hair color and a wedding. Will go home Tuesday AM. Saw a dusting of snow on the Sierra's.

SNOW?! Shhhhhhh. Don't say that too loudly. That's a 4-letter word around here.

John's softball buddy - he's from Canada, started dabbling with stained glass...and he did great with these..he is now working for a local art gallery I think..

Depart on the 8th

Conference 4-7 during the days

Also meeting up with an old HS friend that lives 20 minutes from DL in LA

85 degrees plus humidity, in Toronto. I think this is training for WDW.

Exact same weather here today. I couldn't believe how humid it was! But I'm so happy it's not cold yet, like it should be this time of year. NO complaints from me!

So Amy found out that Sophia does not have school on Friday, Oct 26, and she talks me into an impromptu trip to WDW - Leave on the night of the 25th, come back on the 29th.

I called DVC - alas! No rooms available for all four nights! Only the last two nights are available at SSR. What to do?

Do I take a chance and waitlist the other two nights?

I can get tickets on SW from Cleveland for $79 each way.

What happens if no waitlist comes through?

Decisions, decisions . . .

I even tried the Poly, CR, and Coranado in the Disney Collection - still no rooms due to the Food and Wine Festival.

Nuts!

Okay, Daniel is on the way to Uni of DL (Delaware for you West Coasters ) The bad part is his route takes him within 1 mile of our house. He sent me a text message as he went by...16 kids 4 cars....

I told Daniel I would feed everyone dinner....but he said they were going to keep going...still have to drive up Route 95.

Oh Lisa, that must have been so hard for you to have Daniel SO close but not be able to see him. I know how much you miss him.

Have you all been following "LeBron Gate"?

Guy plays for Cleveland, and shows up at the Indians Game, behind Home Plate in great seats with his Yankees gear on! What a goof!

All the fans that loved him, are now so hating him. If he grew up in NY, I think the fans would understand. He was born in Cleveland, and grew up in Akron for Pete's sake. What a front runner!

The Q where the Cavs play is right beside Jacob's field. They had a table set up trying to sell season tickets for the Cavs as you walked by the Q. I am guessing that LeBron's NY Yankee fandom has not done a whole heck of a lot for that effort.

Bob Feller (HOF pitcher for the Indians) said he is going to show up at a Cavs game with a Detroit Pistons hat on.

Oh, those are the worst decisions We risked it for our trip in December last year and nothing came though so we ended up staying at our other timeshare off site . It just wasn't the same. Maybe waitlist for a week and see what you get and then make the decision. If it were me, I'd just go for it and crash with some other DISer if nothing comes through What about booking at Pop or something just in case?
