Hey everyone I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I wanted to offer it to all my cruise mates. I know i haven't been very talkative but I promise I will be (as long as y'all don't mind)!

My friend at work makes lanyards with beads and such and can make them in Black with Lime Green accents and I have Badge holders for room keys. Would this be something anyone would be interested in doing for our cruise?

I don't know how to post photos otherwise I would post a photo of my work lanyard so you could see.

this sounds cool. what would the cost be and do you think she would make an adult size and a kid size?

We bought DCL lanyards from our 1st cruise, but I can never find them when I want them (like right before we leave for Dland) and we end up getting a new one everytime we go there. What a waste of money, huh? Nice lanyyard collection though :lmao:

I'm sure you'll find a lot of interest here! :thumbsup2

Happy anniversary Lisa and Don!

Monica, are you joining Ian for dinner at Boma during the week of October 21st?

Hi PJ - I'm meeting with Ian on the 20th for High Tea & the 21st for Whispering Canyon. Are you joining him at Boma's? I'll look up his meal itinerary and check out which night that will be....I can always run by and meet you too (and can always eat a Zebra dome or two :lmao: )

no school for us tomorrow, teacher in service day :goodvibes

Not so good for Miss Molly, she has an oral surgeon appointment tomorrow, she is having 5 teeth pulled :scared1: 1 baby tooth and 4 adult. Her mouth is too small for all her teeth to fit. When you look at her xrays you can see that her top teeth are headed to crash into her 2 front teeth.

Poor baby she is scared, okay me too. It's alot of teeth pulled for a little girl.

The tooth fairy is well prepared. She has the new AG doll, Ivy (she is the friend of Julie, the girl from 1976) coming to befriend her in the morning with a note of confidence. I guess that fairy better get off her dairy(er) and get the note written before she gets engrossed in :surfweb: & :happytv:

btw, mom's post op surgery went good today. She has moved home from the skilled nursing care area back to her apartment. I made the appointments for next week too, another with her surgeon (the fluid is still there and will need to be drained) and also with the cardiologist. Her glacoma procedure is tenatively set for 10/29. It never ends with elder care.

Lisa, how are things with your mom these days?
Nan, I'm glad your mom seems to be doing well.

Oh, poor Molly! :scared1:

Happy anniversary Lisa! Here's to another 20!

Monica, I am having dinner at Boma with my traveling group, about twenty minutes after Ian, we have exchanged photos so we have high hopes that we will find each other.

thanks on both counts.

did I mention that the TF also gives big bucks for pulled teeth??? Those get $20 a pop.

Normal teeth get a few special coins, .50 piece, gold dollar (sacajawea dollar), silver dollar, etc...

WOW!! $20 per tooth!!! Didn't realize inflation had been so high!:rotfl:

Thanks for the update about your mom. Are you remembering to do something for yourself too???

that is so scary for Molly  My sister had a lot of her teeth removed as a teenager her mouth was way to small and couldn't fit them all in there. I hope this helps. What a good tooth fairie AG doll waiting...how lucky is she.

I'm so happy that your mom is back into her apartment that is huge. It is always conforting to be home and independent. What kind of glaucoma
procedure? My dad has it and takes the drops his eyes are always bothering him it would be nice if there was something to fix that somehow. Anyways, really happy that she's back home and feeling better. She's still in my prayers.

Middle DD Jennifer had same problem Molly has. Not fun, but she didn't have much pain so here's hoping that Molly has very little pain.

So glad to hear things are better with your Mom though I do unerstand it is an never ending process with elder care.

Wow my kids TF doesnt pay well. $1 coin per tooth. They don't know better maybe my DS should ask for a raise:confused3 Does you DD know the going rate...maybe that will make her feel better about all the teeth being pulled:goodvibes

Wow! That'll help her cope! What a great TF!!!! :yay:

I hang our DCL lanyards with our WDW lanyards and Sea world passes in our closet. That way I can always find them when we get ready to travel.

I seem to remember somebody here saying they took their kids to see Walking with Dinosaurs, but I just can't remember who it was. If that person reads this, I'm interested in knowing how the show was! As soon as I first got the e-mail advertising the presale of tickets, I've been considering taking Tyler, but it's a pretty expensive show. Even the lowest priced seats in the farthest back section are pretty expensive, but if it's as incredible as it looks to be, we'll be going! I was amazed just watching the video clips on their website. But it would be nice to hear from somebody who actually saw the show.

I hang ours in our closet too. I always feel like I need to buy new ones for each occasion though. Isn't V in charge of our lime green DIS lanyards? I haven't even ordered anything yet...I'll probably order everything around Christmas time for presents:confused3 Did the spelling on the cafe t-shirts ever get corrected...I don't care but I want to get some for my DS and DD and don't want their teachers saying anything about it. We've been saying we might be going so on Christmas we'll say we are going:goodvibes so all of these little things will make it seem real to them.

only $20 for surgery, the regular fairy leaves $1-$2 in coins.

ya, I'm taking Molly to the dentist :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: okay, seriously, haven't found the time yet to make a spa date, but it's on my mind....

I'm glad to have the teeth pulled now, get it over with and she can have a pretty smile. She looks so much better now than before the first round of braces, I hate to have that wrecked by too many teeth over the next few years.

ok, I have to confess on the doll. I didn't like it when we saw in it LA. She doesn't look Chinese to me. I talked Molly out of it (she had her own money saved to buy it then) but all the way home she was sad. She agreed with me just to make me happy (she knew I was so sad about my mom that weekend that anything she could try to do to make me smile or happy was tried) so, we got home and the next day I got a free shipping email from AG and had to order the darn doll. Now she means good things to me, about how Molly was being tender hearted to me when I was really blue.

I watched Grey's Anatomy, and now ER.

Good stuff, thanks east coaster :rotfl2:

thanks for letting me know about the pain, I have never had any teeth issues (no cavities, no teeth pulled) so I can't relate and I'm afraid of the pain. I hope she will be ok.

Better to have the appointments with my mom than not have my mom. I need to keep this in perspective.

regular teeth here get $1 or $2 bucks in coins too. The $20 came from our close friends, playgroup we call them ( we each have a girl and a boy same ages) so we pretty much follow in line with each other to keep it "the same" between the kids when they share. Another mom beat me to the pulled tooth punch and set the rate....darn it :confused3

Noel, you are too organized for me. :lmao: In my next life, okay in my next house, when I have a closet that will fit my stuff in I will take that sage advise :goodvibes

Haven't heard anything about it.:confused3 You always come up with such fun things to do with Tyler.
